Idk why this came onto my feed as I’m not a metal vocalist but I’m so glad I seen how you guys do it. When I’m listening to metal, mostly black metal, I have always wondered how the vocalists scream and growl without damaging their vocal cords. I was told that metal vocal training and opera training is quite similar,’so i thought that was interesting. I will admit I did practice along with you, I’m surprised my family members didn’t ask me what I was doing? 😂🙈
@@Blackmoth-33 well it's a sign that you should give metal vocals a try🤘🏻 you can check my previous videos where you i discuss how to create the distortion (false cord and fry scream) and maybe from there you can build it up.
@lebgcestmoi8771 breathing exercises can help i shared many in my breath support video, and practice to hold them longer by focusing on one vowel at first and control how much air you exhale (only exhale the needed amount).
There is no "how to" in this video, just you showing the sounds you can make. Anyway there is no definitive guide on how to do them, everyone is different, thats what i learned.
@@Destroyersoul-e9x what i explained in this video is how to build up a guttural using lips, tongue and mouth manipulations and adding them to a basic distortion so this covers the "how to" part that for some reason you didn't get..and sure there is no definitive guide but these basics can be helpful to anyone.

@@CristalCorp Thanks! No i'm lebanese🇱🇧
Thank you for sharing your advices about your speciality, will you do a video about vocal endurance ? Have a nice day
@@lamadelamagnana5309 this topic is on my list for sure, meanwhile you can check the breath support video and practice the exercises.
Do you know how many times a week do we have to practice ? Wich itensity etc
@@lamadelamagnana5309 it depends on the level and goals, you can practice daily or a few times per week.
Do you use fry screams or fals cords for or both for these gutturals?
@@lebgcestmoi8771 i personally use false cords and sometimes add some fry to it
@ how can you last so long with false cords on a single breath? I could last like max 6-8 seconds
