There are times when the powers of darkness seems indomitable but that is when His presence is Inevitable. The Psalmist says in Psalms 139:8, "If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there".
No matter where we are or in what situation we are in, we are never too far away from God's reach - because He never lets His children walk alone.
