Damn I thought I was going to be disappointed with some fluff piece. This is spot on! I have had an S550 since 2015 and I've done all of these mods plus many more. If there is one thing that I have learned, it is that the driver is the most important performance part of the car. If you can find HPDE events at your local track and get a good instructor, you'll be way ahead of the other guys who have no idea what they're doing. My first time on track I was getting my ass kicked by dudes in Miatas. No kidding! They'd be right off my rear bumper until I got to the straight aways, and then I'd pull away from them and then they'd be waving at me from what seemed like my back seat to point them by at the next straightaway! It was quite enlightening and humbling to have a 130hp car beating my ass around a track. I got a good instructor and now that doesn't happen anymore 😁
h-pipe with aggressive tone Axle back is amazing. always get compliments. At speed cruising its as quiet at stock, then you hit the throttle and its like yep its a Mustang. Best Mod I have done to date.
My Magnetic GT agreed, i have the roush axle backs with mishimoto h pipe and there’s absolutely no drone, very aggressive when you get onto it where people think ive got headers too, and quiet when not pushing it

Steeda kicks ass! They're absolutely the most knowledgeable modders of S550 Mustangs. Their parts are top notch quality and they stand behind their products. I have a TON of them on my S550, from suspension to the clutch spring and even the functional rear race wing, which helped keep the car planted when approaching high-speed corners at the track.
It is crazy how incredibly engineered these s550 mustangs are considering their low price for what they give. So glad I bought one and can't wait to put some springs and swaybars to improve that corner sway.
Kanny Looi I just traded my wrx in. My car had 355 wheel and the Mustang is so much better in my opinion. Just have to do the clutch spring did mine on the second day lol

@steeda where is the active exhaust located? I have a 2021 GT with active exhaust and i want to put long tubes and possibly an H or X pipe. I know the long tubes will make it scream, and with the h or x pipe it will sound quite loud but at that point, will the active exhaust still noticeably work?
I own quite a few Mustangs all at different stages but on my 2018 I bought fully loaded with Magne-ride and Active Exhaust if you change the Springs isn't that effecting the electronic shocks? And if you change X-Pipe or Mufflers how is that not altering the Active Exhaust system? My Shelby's are equipped with JRZ's, JRi's, and QA1's on another so this time I wanted the Magne-ride with the 10r80 but sometimes it feels 'floaty' with this suspension but maybe I am used to my race setup on other ones

I have a brand new 2020 mustang GT and my question is, should I bother with the Ford Performance Power Pack for just over $1000? I would get some gains but minimal (but i would retain the factory warranty) or should I just enjoy the car as is, leave it stock for now, and consider a supercharger or turbo after the 3 year warranty is up? Keep in mind, I will likely end up with a supercharger or turbo anyway. Anything helps! thanks!
It all depends on what your goals are with the car? In stock form, the 2020 GT is already pretty quick! Keep in mind the Ford Performance Power Pack has a separate warranty through Ford Performance Parts for 3yrs/36k miles if installed by a Ford dealer.
