Thanks for the overview; it's really a great watch. I just purchased the same watch (OR2/Date with the blue bezel). I ordered it at the end of July and it arrived on Sept 16th, so just around six weeks. The blue bezel is absolutely amazing. It's a perfect shade of blue. Handsome, subtle, subdued, almost a gray-blue. Anything brighter, imho, would have been too flashy. The slimmer, 'old-school' case & lugs (think 16610) are simply fantastic. It has a great bracelet, with a functional extension system. This is my 3rd Ginault that I've ordered from their site. All are rugged, sporty pieces, and each purchase was a smooth, flawless buying experience!
Think it is a great looking watch. Been debating on the black or blue bezel. Not wild about the sw200 movement though. The only movements that broken on me are sw200. I avoid hand winding them, because 2 broke after a couple of turns. Never had this problem with a Seiko, miyota, GS, or other swiss movements.
Killer watch. I had the Ginault Silent Service. Loved it but I just didn’t like the look of a sapphire bezel so I sold it. I’m looking into the Ocean Rover 2 with blue bezel. If I love it, as I suspect I will, I’ll probably sell my Tudor BB58.
Hey. You are in my State now. I live in south Alabama. I like the Ocean Rover 2. I have thought about getting the no date version of it later on. I'm going to check out thier new watch. Thanks for the video
I just feel they've got to a price point that you may as well get a second hand Breitling or Omega. something that has history and its own style. Maybe if they were around 6-800 but this new price is insane
The ginault expititioner looks nice.
Looks fantastic
Congratulations on the watch purchase. I personally love the watch brand and their history adds to my interest.

I have a submariner 124060 and I think I'm going to grab one of theses to take out when the Rolex isn't a good option
