The difference between this color and the ones displayed at launch is night and day. This car is handsome in all black - not so much in baby blue with a white roof.

Are these storage and compartment space comparisons adding anything to these videos? 99% of vehicles in the same range have a ‘decent glovebox’ and pass the ‘big bottle’ door bin test.
At 442 CM it's hardly compact, and is the same length as X1 for example. Just because there are HUGE cars like XC90 around, doesn't make this compact. Compact is Suzuki Jimny, for example.
The XC 90 isn't huge, SUVs like the escalade and navigator are huge, landcruisers and RRs are big and the X1 and XC 40 are compacts. The XC 90 is mid size

Am I the only one who notices the rather apparent use of filters? Ginny looks a bit ill, yellowish, dare I say grim/greyed out? Noticed it in some of the other recent vids, I would tone it down a bunch. Bring some colour instead of taking it out!

The way the body work cuts across the rear passenger window restricting the light entering the vehicle and also the view out for those unlucky enough to be sat in the back is a design disaster. Whoever approved that wants sacking. I hate the rear light clusters on ANY Volvo too.
Black is the best colour for this car by a mile. I still think this car looks ugly (certainly uglier than the XC60 or XC90) but at least in black, it looks bold enough.
I don't get why motoring journalists keep saying about middle seats being suitable for children. If they are under 12, chances are they will be in a child seat. Adults in the outer back seats won't have much fun with a child seat wedged between them!
Michael Burgess well I'm not a child so don't need a car seat. Law says 12 years old or 135cm tall, whatever comes first, need a child/booster seat, though it's recommended up to 150cm tall. Have you ever been in the back row of a car with a child seat in the middle? Being sat on the outer seats isn't fun!
