  • I had fun making this video. I utilized ChatGTP and Elise researched current sale data on Bringatrailer to gather a good picture of the depreciation that the 2017 Acura NSX has seen in the past 6 years. I think it will rebound later on and be a coveted collectors car.

*ChatGTP messed a few numbers up but the concept is still the same. The fully option car new was more like 200k vs the random extra $25,000 carbon exterior option it made up. These A.I. platforms are cool but not perfect.

@@DriversTherapy it really doesn't matter what color as long as the price is right they is a rare color that I don't see often Nord Gray Metallic, I know Jerry Seinfeld's had one that will be a cool color to get ✌️

These cars are now staring to get some love. Truly ahead of its time it recieved alot of hate in the beginning because the hybrid system was foriegn to everybody but now all these brands are barely coming out with this setup ERAY C8, Mclaren Artura/speedtail, Revuelto, and SF90 etc........ I wouldnt be surprise if the prices start to shoot up they only made 2900 including the 350 type s

First you claim an F50 is worth 5x an F40. That’s not what I found when I googled it. You almost list me there.
Then you claim an NSX with all options is north of $223k. No, I don’t think so. You wouldn’t order BOTH brake packages, with different caliper paint options. You lost me there less than 4:00 into the video. Maybe I misunderstood.

Hi! ChatGTP included the carbon fiber panels which apparently is made up! Was not an option after doing some more research. 😅

I think in 20 years the floor is going to fall out of the ICE collectable car market. The progress of EVs 20 years from now will make most people not want to deal with ICE cars at all, especially people who have ~150k to spend on a car. The NC1 is so tech heavy I can't imagine enthusiasts in the future looking back to the NC1 as a more pure driving experience the way we look back on the NA1 now.
Not sure if you've driven a model 3 performance, or an Taycan but there are a couple things from a driving perspective that make the future of EV performance exciting (also you should drive some EVs hard if you haven't). 1. Traction control/yaw control. Unlike a normal ICE engine which needs to calculate a ton of factors then use braking/neutering of acceleration via fuel control to control the way a tire interacts with the road an EV just needs to literally use an algorithm that says don't let the tire slip more than x% more than the motor output and then the response is instant and direct from the electric motor. The results are amazing to feel. I've never felt a car grip like that in the dry without being on really sticky tires. The fastest vectoring all wheel drive with instant torque is one hell of a drug. 2. Understanding exactly what your tires are doing. I've never been more in tune with what the front of the car was doing then pushing an EV. You can -hear- the changes in tire dynamics, and then translate that directly into what you're feeling. It's really cool and makes you feel extremely connected to the road and driving experience. Similar to indoor karting.
20 years from now those batteries are going to be smaller, and lighter and the last disadvantage EVs have will be gone. The only hold outs are people who can't get over the missing sound, which I can understand to a degree. I for one am ready for the next evolution of cars.

I didn’t know you had a passion for EV cars. I also have never heard the term “ICE” till just now. There is no arguing that EV are the future. That is a fact. Since I have never driven a fully electric vehicle I can’t comment on the driving impressions but most Teslas don’t appeal to me look wise but that is a personal preference. But I don’t need to try the driving experience one day for sure.
