Dr. Jawad talks about what inositol is and how it is beneficial to Your body.
Although the recommended daily allowance is 100mg daily, dosages of 500mg twice daily have been suggested as efficacious.
No, it does not lower testosterone levels in men: pubmed.ncbi.nl...

What Is Inositol? Inositol is a type of sugar that influences both the body's insulin response and several hormones associated with mood and cognition. It's often referred to as vitamin B8, but it is not actually a vitamin. AKA -- inositol Hexaphosphate: IP-6
Take D-chiro-inositol in the morning just before your first meal of the day. Try to give it 15min or so to get into your bloodstream before eating.
Inositol plays a structural role in your body as a major component of cell membranes. It also influences the action of insulin, a hormone essential for blood sugar control. In addition, it affects chemical messengers in your brain, such as serotonin and dopamine.
Inositol is a vitamin-like substance. It is found in many plants and animals. It is also produced in the human body and can be made in a laboratory. Inositol can be found in many forms (called isomers). The most common forms are myo-inositol and D-chiro-inositol.
Inositol might balance certain chemicals in the body to help with mental conditions such as panic disorder, depression, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. It might also help insulin work better. People use inositol for metabolic syndrome, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and for reducing the risk of preterm birth.

I'm a bit blown away by these benefits. Someone told me many many years ago to get Inositol for my son for depression, but he never took it. I still have the bottle from Nature's Way. Now, I am interested very interested in taking this myself since I have some of the symptoms you mention. I've spent the last 30 min or so listening to several videos about this on TH-cam. Now need to figure out if I need IP6 or just the regular inositol. Thank you for sharing all this information, wish I can make an appt with you lol

Thanks for the info. Good stuff. From what I’ve read myo-Inositol decreases testosterone and D-chiro increases testosterone. So I’m wondering… if men should take D-Chiro only and stay away from Myo Inositol. Although, I believe that it’s the Myo that gives the calming effect. So if we didn’t take Myo we would miss out on that.

I don't do keto but I don't eat a bunch of sugar like I used to and now I don't have issues with depression. Balancing my minerals and doing a candida and parasites cleanse helped a lot too.
