*Australia’s Foodie Capital- Melbourne* were NOT❌❌ as *Renowned* as it was, anymore!!
I just went to Melbourne Last Aug.,ever since 2011 @nd I can tell you this - their Food is getting more Expensive with Lesser Quantity!!
Maybe due to population increases &High inflation but I went back to Many Restaurants that i used to-go, back in 2011 &many of their prices had Skyrocketed with *Mickey/ minnie mouse portions* ,plunged Down to smaller bit pieces till a $40-50 meal Can’t even get you a Full Belly!!

Ha! 2011... Man that was over a decade ago. Things have changed not just in Australia, but all over the world. Asian eateries are still the go to when you want value for money eats.

      i, Know @@ryansofly That!!
What i mean was many of the *Cafés* ., their food had gotten smaller portions with prices higher much more compared back then!
Like Example), *Operator25* their Char siew egg_benedict, i remember was $15 with 2 egg benedict &muffins came with Bacons but now its $22 and its just 2-egg benedict &muffins. That's ALL. See the big differences?
*The Hardware Société* , i remember ordered their Crab meat Charcoal_burger with egg benedict ,was $32 NOW, $45 and its just came a Charcoal hamburger with 2 eggs benedict!
See the price differences with the ingredients provided& Let alone the portions!!

Love your video, I'm a Tassie and love visiting Melbourne. I was shocked to see you bought a takeaway coffee at the markets. I would never do that , so many good places to have a good coffee in Melbourne without the need of a takeaway cup.

Great video Ryan . Melbourne is the food capital of Aussie , nothing comes close . I do love the Adelaide central Market though , it’s a fantastic place . The “ Bit too late “ waffle bought a chuckle , you could have been really naughty with that , but it is a family channel I guess . Enjoy Italy , I’ve been once , it’s fab.

Haha yes that waffle was good for a laugh. Adelaide does lack a little culinary variety compared to Melbourne, we are slightly traditional and tend not to stray too far from the tried and tested.

Melbourne is always good for food!
One day you’ll have to check out the Sri Lankan places down there and Sydney- I’ve heard they’re not too bad and the only cities that have good SL food.

      @rachkate76 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@ryansofly yippee indeed!
One of the major issues with SL food run as a business, is a massive disconnect between the food side which is good, and the business accumen/ proper advertising of it.
They’re great at food, but terrible at business and taking advice, then the whole venture goes kaput even despite the ones that were authentic and popular also inevitably failing even if Sri Lankans supported it.
It’s such delicious and varied cuisine that it *should* by rights, be one of those cuisines that’s in most suburbs.
      Alas, it will never be.
You’re another cocktail like me (SL/ German/ Dutch) with your Singapore/ Thai background.
How long will you be away for?
