Looks great! It’s always good to come back and look at some old stuff!
As for the weathering the salt flats thing, step one would be to get some reference photos, and I think that railroad weathering would be great techniques to learn, but swap out the rust and rail dust for salt colors. See you in the discord rooms!

Love the Stude & hauler. Same issue with the heat down here in Eastern CT. I'm an old guy (65 & retired), and ended up in the hospital for an overnight stay last year after doing yard work in this crap one afternoon. I'll let the yard go before I do that again!
