IRIS! Like the purple flower. My apologies if you did say "Iris", but I swear I heard "Irish". Final note, I think there is a lot neat stuff in that Firebird box, I would build it as a period correct "Day 2" Street Machine - the Cragars and raked stance with a treaded rears versus the slicks, and a Factory Stock engine. Or, if you do go the 3D route, a mild engine upgrade, matte black valve covers with milled surfacing, MSD ignition, Accell Yellow Plug wires etc., versus the Super Charged induction that is (or used to be) the "2" in that 2 n'1 kit.

I have the street verion of the Hasegawa Pulsar. I was thinking that I wouldn't have time to finish my Street Machine, but if it's until March, maybe. Irish Myst reminds me of one of my favorite GM colors, Evening Orchid, which was a one year only (1965) paint option.

i want/need that MK2 kit!!! My dad got one out of a field, sat in our garage for years. We didnt know how to build it ( before the internet) , we replaced the engine BIG straight 6! the interior was BEAUTIFUL! well, dad died, mom got rid of the car....

Some cool stash adds! I've got 2 of the 70 Charger (one built) and I plan on getting this release! The 70-1/2 Camaro is one of my favorites but I flip the spindles and replace the side pipes. That Jag in a light metalliac blue would be like the one I got to ride to school in at times... A friends mom owned one.

Frank sent me here! Nice MOPARs. I recently bought the Jaguar Mk II Saloon, but the kit hasn't arrived yet. I also bought my favorite, the XJS V12 and XJS Cabriolet. I figured since Jaguar the company just self-destructed, I'd build a few of the classic Jags as a memorial. Cheers.

Just finished the Tamiya Jaguar Mk2. Fantastic kit! Tamiya quality and fit all the way. A couple of heads up about the kit. The decals are extremely thin and take a prolonged period of time to release from the backing paper. The wood burl decals are especially finicky so take your time to soak and apply them one at a time using warm water. Do not use hot water. The metal trim transfers are very delicate as well. Be prepared to spend time and patience with them. The wire wheels are the best molded wire wheels I've ever seen and need nothing to look awesome. The instructions tell you to apply the rear "skirts" during final assembly but I put them on before paint with no issues. I painted mine in the opalescent maroon color from Zero paints with a 2K clear coat. The finished model is a real eye catcher. Hope you heal up quickly and keep the vids coming!

Our “Miracle Mile” in Queens NY was Bell Boulevard. I found out years later that my wife and her friends cruised that strip a few times as well, which is strange because they were from Brooklyn and it woulda been a hike for them. I told her she was subconsciously trying to hunt me. She rolled her eyes.
