Guitarists: Ugh, dude my hand hurts from today's session
Drummers: *is in a wheelchair*
you see, if guitarists were competent, their hand would not hurt. They would actually be well practiced. What kind of guitarist are you experienced with?
@@fathomlives a terrible one that doesn't use a metronome it seems 👀
@@fathomlives Same with a drummer who has good technique
Is that a reference to Basket Case's clip?
@@admiralrng6506 imagine needing a metronome . This comment was made by the drummer gang
Yes drumming is as fun as it looks.. but also ten times harder than it looks
Definitely.
Yeah, I remember I tried making a drum part for Varien-The Valkyrie Trilogy and Tristam-Truth (xKore Remix) with an electronic drum kit and no double kick. That was last year, when I was in eighth grade. I was probably the most advanced drummer in both Rock n Roll classes, so advanced I kept breaking sticks.
so true! :D
Suer man Or maybe I just wail on the drums more and play more aggressively. That can be it too.
As a drummer, I can definitely confirm that.
Let's all just take a minute to appreciate how badass this dude is...
Yep!
He could be a whole band
Drummer
Guitarist
Vocalist.
And who needs a bassist? Just program it
Im kidding about the bassist its a joke
@@Bilbo_Swaggins0528 Just like a bassist
3.3k bass players disapproved
Hail to the king baby!
0:38 that fill though
Mastodon fill
Fill the gaps
Sounded like Chi by Korn
Also like the fill during the djent one the snare, tom, floor tom, flam on the snare one🤘🏼
I love how the sound quality dropped during Black Metal.
Fancy seeing you here
YES !!! haha :)
Gamer Rage black metal only good metal anymore
It has to be trVe 😄😄
why?
whenever jared makes a drum video his face is always the best part
indeed 😂😂😂
Totally agree xD Metalcore was best in this
+SD3W absolutely
GIve this man an oscar!!!!! better than leo in the revenant!!!! (not (maybe))
+cyberdwarf0308
I'll give* you and oscar when you learn how to spell.
I laughed so hard during his Beatdown drumming😂😂😂
lol so good
The facial expressions he makes get me laughing every time!!
I went for a sleep!
Everytime he hits the China symbol I imagine him going "No!" like he's spanking a cat or a dog
You have a higher quality version of my profile picture
2:38 when your room's door suddenly opens on the midnight.
HAHAHAHAH
His face when he was doing metalcore xD
Zycir im dead inside XD
abood ali XDDDDDDDDDDDDD
Zycir so optimistic
Zycir hahahaaha
Hahahahaahaah
The nu metal one almost sounds like a slipknot drum beat not gonna lie
214mjn that’s because Slipknot is nu metal
At 1.25 or 1.5 speed
Travis Void Corey said they weren’t, but they do sound like nu metal.
change the nu-metal to slipknot genre
@@beanjuice4070 they are nu metal but they try to voice themselves away from other nu metal bands
The "Nu Metal" one is hands down my favorite!
Mine too, I just searched his drum videos, just to hear this part again.
Meh
Let me guess it's because of Slipknot
The bass is top notch in the beginning
The deathcore was probably my favorite
Idk whats funnier! His faces, or the fact that he plays all the different styles so well!!
hey
nu metal sounds sick asf
No
@@summeronio9751 yes
The best one for fuck's sake...
Who disagrees must be an elitist.
Joey Thompson you’re just hating cuz it’s labelled as nu metal.. you’re a shame
Nu metal kickass,
who disagree must be a crappy dad rock fan or a blackmetal juggalo

hahahahahahahah
I want a full version of that metalcore. No lyrics, just instrumental please
All metalcore should be just instrumental
@@aspasiatzeraki1388 opinion.
@@Sniffyy Yes
Don’t we all want it
@@oreo624 Honestly, metalcore sounds good as its heavy chords and progression which should sound nice. It is heavy as well, which makes it exciting. But the lyrics are just... y'know
Dude, that death metal instrumental was sick. I can’t stop replaying it!
Sameee
same its soo sick i show this part maybe 50 times and more XD
Right?, the Thash one also nailed it
nu metal sounded liek slipknot with fieldy as bassist an i fuccing loved it
TheBritishMewtwo same
Because Slipknot is nu metal :v
Bruh, learn how to spell 😂
Nu metal is trash
sounds like dry kill logic with korn bassist
I like how Jared is smiling while playing metalcore. It makes me happy🤗☺️
I think he was taking the piss out of meytal
happycore
Nah he was taking the piss, metalcore drumming is a lot harder than that
3:40 Needles - System Of A Down😁
Its a bit slower
Reminds of Betrayal/Forgiveness - Apocalyptica
No that's actually just classic Punk Rock drumming metal heads copied that style of drumming from the Punk scene Hardcore is short for Hardcore Punk rock
Its every hardcore punk act
As a bassist in a hardcore band I appreciate the mix for the hardcore song. 😉
I couldn't stop staring at the broken cymbal
It's not broken, it's broken in.
Bladsmith so it's brokin?
2:14 when ur playing whack a mole and ur waiting for any movement
“Got you there you stinking mole”
BAHAH
i just love how happy he looked on metalcore
I loved the extreme concentration put into “death metal” and the struggling/workout/cant make it any further face when you move to the crash. Followed by the relaxed and calm “Doom metal” haha
Jared you never EVER fail to get me laughing sir, thanks for a great start to my morning today 🤣🤣👍🏻
Beatdown looked like there was someone off camera telling him to stop playing and he kept going out of spite
David Poole he's so angry in that part, he's like," you say that again or else I'll come over there and (violent actions) to you" 😂😂
3:10 sounds like a machine gun
3:03 deathcore was by far the best
Name song?
@@jeissonguerra1621 idk but thy art is murder has a pretty similar sound
@@jeissonguerra1621 apparently it’s Jared’s new song “the psycho”. I only found out from reading other comments
Let's appreciate how hard this really is and why drums are awesome. He's having fun and we enjoy it but this is mad skill .
Doom metal was too freckin fast, couldn't keep up with it
+Blue Knew nope
Nowhere near as fast as beatdown.
+Exotic Eagle Seriously people?
+
+J'zargo It's called a JOKE
That Nu-Metal song was fucking amazing.
It sounded so badass.
J Stone do you know the song???
J Stone yeah whats d song?
J Stone yeah it sounded better than nu metal
J Stone whats d Song?
Jared did it himself, it's not a cover or anything.

I agree
@@antalyametalkid2353 the song is called lucis ve by banda vx
3:57 Lars ulrich who???
Ok I just found this comment after a year but now I’ve grown to realize watatata did I just say dont get mad I’m scared
Yea, because that's not thrash..
Let's be honest- he was never really a part of the conversation.
@@Double-X2-Points yeah but started the conversation
@@kelimthomas-heath5257 Lars will always be best known for his incredible song writing ability...not necessarily his technical ability on drums...also, if anything speed metal/Nwobhm drummers ushered in those drum patterns first. Bands like Accept, Diamond Head, Motorhead, Mercyful Fate, Iron Maiden...etc. Thrash was basically taking all of that stuff and fusing it with hardcore/skater punk. So if anything, those early punk bands also helped usher in that style BEFORE the thrash bands made it iconic
And Justice For all: “Sorry?”
Am I the only one who noticed the simpering Meytal Cohen smile during METALCORE?
comfibold Meytal Cohen is Bae.
I saw that , Too . Lol
had to check that out again. totally Cohen 😂
comfibold yes he does ahahahahahahaha
I might had caught on to that quicker, had Jared been playing barefoot in a sunny meadow lol
"Why some Jared's cymbals are breaking?"
1:23 Oh...
Nobody:
Not a single soul:
Me:*when I’m mad* 0:08
Abraham Shoahstein what do you mean
Abraham Shoahstein can u stop being the guy that is a boomer and says hate like this
I mean@Abraham Shoahstein is right the comment was fine without adding the "nobody". The original meme doesn't even make sense. It would make more sense f it was "everybody:". It bothers me too ngl.
It seems like Jared can play any instrument. What’s something Jared can’t play???
Freebird
Silent Studios Music his feelings
Cant play a Mark Gormley song with power stance. Checkmate.
Can he play babies like the Faceless?
But, but... Can he play smoke on the water!!?
Mayo
"WHY DO MY CYMBALS CRACK SO FAST!!!!!!!"
Jack's Knack don't keep them so tight loosen them and don't bang soo hard
Jaffe Studios Mate, if you metal drum then just pray
4:42 imagine stevie t face while playing this
Djent in Oxford dictionnary : buka buka banana banana🤦🏾♂️🤣
We don’t talk about Stevie here...
Bum baggak bum bum baggak 😂

0:57 that big smile XD
3:28 ezdrummer detected bahahaha
Thrash metal had real drums tho yay :)
tucatucatuca? xd?
what is ezdrummer? something like drumagog?
+jmq1984 it's a triggering software
66samus make a drum cover of attila "party with the devil please bro"
Your nu metal, death core and thrash examples sound really good. They aren't even my favourite sub genres of metal.
Ah yes.. the video that motivated me to start playing drums 3 years ago.. never forgetting it :).
Firstly, the faces you make during some of these are the identical faces I’ve made playing those styles. Spot on!!!
Secondly, you’re definitely a talented individual. Thanks for entertaining us Jared!
The face at Metalcore cracked me up
John Yates I thought I was the only one!
The Deathcore part is actually Jared's new song called "The Psycho"!
I thought I was the only one who noticed omg
SEi ∞ MEi「生命」 glad someone else noticed
I liked the deathcore one the best...maybe I should listed to The Psycho again.
SEiMEi System of a Down : Psycho??
KaUtILYa no. Jared's song
It's fun to come back to these older videos and hear some riffs that were later on turned into actual songs on The Dark and The Light.
Jared:10 types of metal drummer
Heavy metal: *sad heavy metal noises*
0:21 Why I will always love nu metal
yeah holy fuck that was good
PePsI adZ what song is it hahah
aliumhonda93
His own I guess
Yes probably and I felt like there was a lot of Slipknot there
Nael Shahbaz And Slipknot is my favourite band. Now I see why I like it so much.
I can actually hear Corey Taylor screaming over the Nu Metal track.
Yep I can hear em!
+Alexey Bereznitskiy he was saying that it sounded a lot like slipknot
I too was getting a slipknot feel
Andrew Zvara Very similar to psychosocial
not enough beer kegs in the background XD
Deathcore instrumentals and vocals just make me so happy all the time.
When I'm sad I watch your channel to smile. Thanks for everything over the years king
Damn that Doom Metal part was awesome
Jonte Thomas sounds like korn
Jonte Thomas i thought he was gonna do something like black sabbath or Ghost
Was just thinkin' that. I guess he should write a Doom album. It's official.
Jonte Thomas me too
Lads and Lasses, the king of sarcasm
The thrash metal one was my fav
trey sword yup, not over the top, but also not underperformed.
Ei ollu rässiä perkele! :D
thrash Metal's nice, it just lacks some of that spice
i really need a groove that makes me want to move
These stuff never gets old 🤘🏻
Such an amazing drummer. Seems like you had the most fun with Deathcore Thrash Metal and Djent. Infinite respect \,,\
Haha the beatdown one was hilarious xD
I loved that one!
Me too lol it was really great!
That face at 2:50 killed me^^
A lot slower than Funeral Doom Metal.
+
The transition from "Beatdown" to "Deathcore"
sounds like one of thee most heaviest breakdowns from some prog band.
The kick tone is amazing.
That metalcore melody sounds beautiful
That Nu Metal beat was sick
is that an actual song? i love it
I want the METALCORE part to be a complete track :D
István Deák no
Nu metal full version.
@@hotshot0476
Nu metal drums that type
Chimaira - dead inside
Dry Kill logic - strength i call my own
Crossbreed - underlined
Sybreed - rusted
No one - down on me
Skrape - waste
Yes the “death metal” drums are almost every track by Bolt Thrower and I love it!!
That metal core one needs to be a full song
Lol your face expression when playing beatdown was priceless i can't stop laughing xD
GVSD3 from what I've seen his videos, I assume beatdown is one of the shittiest genres, lol
Adam Herčík beatdown is the best thing ever
it's not "beatdown"
What about that black metal one tho
GVSD3 I cant stop laughing too XD
Jared is so talented he can play any metal songs from vocals to drums. Cool guy.
It's all practice
1:47 missed the bell, for all those who think playing very slowly necessarily means it's easy! 😂
I’ve never been someone who’s learned an instrument but I’ve always been proudly impressed by drummers.
I love the Beatdown face, like "God, I really HATE that fucking china... I'll let him see!!"
Carlo Bassetti glad I'm not the only one who thought this 😂😂
"ohh yeah.... DIE!"
i can't get enough of that face as well hahahaha
Is beatdown a real existing genre ?
G Vis dunno, actually. Seems so.
Beatdown Hardcore, but it sounds different.
Actually liked the Nu Metal section
me too
same
Brandon Leavins he is moving just like Mcdonough from mudvayne
erick alvarez I KNOW RIGHT?
Brandon Leavins Yeah me too.
0:41 ummmm, Matt Greiner would like a word with you...
3:40 nobody talks about how good the hardcore part is
Should've worn a v-neck for djent
Matt Halpern approves.
Needs more ghost hits
meh. Needs more ghost notes AND pedal hat in order to win american apparel deep V
+Skwisgaar Skwigelf yeah I agree needs ghost notes and those aren't even the right kind of fills for that style.
o damn i still fuckin like djent a lot
drummers are gifted, the rhythm and what ever they got to be able to play is incredible
No wonder I love metalcore! You look so happy while playing it, haha.
I appreciate the attention to detail with the various qualities in sound and mixing of the genres (Black Metal being pretty low quality, Metalcore being higher, etc)
That Nu Metal was CAAAATCHY. My Goodness dude my head exploded lol
CoV Striker. And Death Metal
No it was Sic
Emma Zinke Siiiiiiicc !!!!
i am fully convinced that jared makes these vids to show off his drumming skills
well, as long as he enjoys it and we do, all is good, right? ...
If you were this good of a drummer would you not want to?
thought the same :D
Nope, its for money.
I know a very good drummer that don't. He don't want attention. He play drum to compose song to do shows that's it. It's question of personality.
Australia is watching 2020,fun and perfect job dude🤘,thanks for sharing.
deathcore,Nu metal, and death metal was my favorites of this.😎😎
😈
Samhein Jackson and metalcore😂
Mine was thrash metal.
Doom and Nu were my faves

Djream Theater
His reactions when he's playing is the best part of the video
I legitimately love that transition between the metalcore and death metal ones
You forgot the Lars Ulrich style....when he calls the crowd in concert😂😂
I think Kirk Hammett played better than him when they switched spots on stage for fun. 😂
+James Harris oh yeah you're right!!!!😂😂😂
Lars is not a drummer....
+Danny Kross (Danny_Kross) and what he is?😂
He just happened to own a drumkit at the right time and met the right people!
What Lars actually is, is a good arranger I'd give him that, but on drums...naah
Nu Metal sounded badass!
I like how he s smiling and enjoying the drumming
I just loved how happy the metalcore drummer was haha 😂
