5 serj tanikan
Mike Patton, you forgot Mike Patton
There's at least fifteen dozen vocalists better than this mediocre metalcore vocalist.
Tatiana from Jinjer. Nuff said
\m/ Love her! Love the band!
Amen!
She also has amazing clean vocals. No joke.
in no particular order, kyo (dir en grey), travis ryan (cattle decap), dickie allen (infant annihilator), and a lot more that i cant fit into a top 5 ;)
Cattle Decapitation is amazing I got to see them live when I went to see Carnifex at the Summer Slaughter Tour of 2019 and the line up was amazing I was actually introduced 3 bands Cattle Decapitation, Nekrogoblikon and the Faceless
🤘💀🤘
1.Mikael Akerfelt - Opeth
2.Lord Warm - Cryptopsy
3.Sam Carter - Architects
4.Jo Duplantier - Gojira
5.Winston - Parkway Drive
Lord Warm lol

lol winston mc'call. the great hath truly fallen.
Eeeesh.....based off of what exactly? Because you can’t be talking about skill.....
Ryan Kirby- Fit For A King
Wade Walters- SECRETS
Telle Smith- The Word Alive
Corey Taylor- Slipknot
Sam Carter- Architects
Ryan Kirby all the way.
Brett Jones what about the lead singer in 5fdp
Ryan Kirby is amazing live and in studio
@@bugahtul7184 Check out his channel. He does covers of other songs.
@@DCul Subscribed to him, he makes great covers.
Jared the type of dude who spends his whole life impatiently waiting for ppl to finish talking so he can say his thing lmao
I've thought this since the first time I saw him interacting with another human.
omg i thought that too.. seems like a pretty nice guy.
It's called respect. If there's anything I hate it's people that won't let other people finish their sentences.
You completely misunderstand what I’m saying lmao I’m saying he’s a fuckin douchebag w no respect
@@MrCk1234567890 I totally got what you meant, hahaha.
It means he doesn't give a shit about the conversation and is only there to say what he wants. He's contributing absolutely nothing.
Goddamn energy vampire.
Glad they mentioned Kyo hes my 1# pick for sure
Same. Kyo is my no. 1
6:50 When you are doing high scream and you step on a Lego
I’m just glad that Corey Taylor was on this list
Shouldnt have been
@@summeronio9751 why? What’s wrong with him?
Slipknot is cringe bro accept it they are overrated
@@giorgis7373 I love how the people says that Slipknot is trash, is bad, etc., but they never say why. Why u don't go to listen your technical brutal extreme incredible death metal underrated sweden bands?
@adri i see your point I don't really like the way he sings tbh I prefer his screams I used to listen to slipnkot I don't think they are trash ,I believe they are overated but they helped metal become more mainstream
Architects always gives me intense goosebumps every time I listen to them so much love for them
2:48 “YOU DIED” in Dark Souls.
Tatiana Shmaylyuk from Jinjer for sure.
Shocked you didn't include her
i FRICKIN agree. immediate dislike
Krysta has a great set of lungs on her. It's an obvious song choice but her delivery in Kevin Bacon never fails to give me chills. Wish she had stuck around. She is doing some good things in a new project called Empyrean Lights.
I AGREE
@@colmerator iMmEdIaTe DiSlIkE
@BlackSH0veldeath What about Angela Gossow?
The fact that Sam Carter isnt on more peoples lists makes me sad.
IKR?? Sam is astounding.
Daaaaaamn, I've been listening to Dir en grey since they were only known among teens who were into anime and harajuku fashion... I'm SO DAMN HAPPY that they're getting recognition. Kyo is an amazing vocalist.
Aye me too kyo has a very beautiful vocal range 🥲👏👏
YES OMG YES😭😭 FINALLY, dir en grey and the gazette stole my heart
Yo my boy Storm hell yeah!! Imrpressive that you mentioned Kyo aswell. Sick ad song btw.
I came here just for Kyo... that's all I have to say about that
Same
Same here
Same
Saw em in La a few years ago, definitely hair raising performance.
Same.
My top 5 favorite screamers would be:
Corey Taylor - Slipknot/Stone Sour
Ben Duerr - Shadow of Intent/Hollow Prophet
Phil Boozeman - Whitechapel
Travis Ryan - Cattle Decapitation
Kyo - Dir En Grey
Travis Ryan is a fucking monster, he goes from gut-ripping demon to hellgoblin on a dime
a personal favorite of mine is Spencer Charnes. He has a pretty wide range of screaming and can hit a extremely low scream without making his voice garglely. It can be really bone chilling.
Also his live vocals are so good to. The whole band is amazing live
I'm not really a fan of deathcore but that ad was cool lol
I remember when I was like that.
This is THE BEST ad/sponsorship vid i have ever seen hands down.
tva911 definitely
1. Howard Jones
2.Chris Motionless
3.Alexi Laiho
Best goddamn sponsor segment I have seen in my goddamn life
Travis Ryan from Cattle Decapitation is my #1
been looking for this comment haha
he's on my top 5 clean vocals list solely for Plagueborne
Definitely with you on that one! 🤘🏻
Finally someone says it. Those crazy not clean (perceived as clean) high vocals are the hardest fucking thing to try and figure out.
Winston McCall from Parkway Drive is nuts.
YAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSS
Ikr
Especially his stuff from deep blue and atlas
He's good but the new material really drives them down.
blackfox1320 yeah true that
johannes from avatar is really underrated imo
I agree
Agreed
Agreed
HAIL THE APOCALYPSE!!!
James Zientarski agreed. He is one of my favorite vocalists of all time.
kyo’s highs are INSANE. listen to juuyoku, decayed crow, revelation of mankind, and yokusou ni dreambox for proof (and many more)!! STAN DIR EN GREY
Probably one of the most overlooked singers and personas of the fucking music scene. DeG are AWESOME.
Saku and Jealous (even though it’s more singing) are my faves from Dir en Grey😀
@@efboy Well Saku is pretty crazy lol. And Jealus is incredible. This band has made so many songs I consider to be absolutely beautiful (wether they are extreme or not at all) that I cannot keep track of'em.
Favorite band. Hands down
@@andrewjoel As a musician I am I like a lot of different bands but the impact DeG has had on my is undeniable.
Austin has got to be the best metal vocalist I've ever heard hands down
I've always thought that.

Credit for one of the most impressive and entertaining Ad sponsorships I’ve ever seen.
1. JT Cavey - Erra
2. Bjorn "Speed" Strid - Soilwork
3. Jon Mess - Dance Gavin Dance
4. Richard Sjunnesson - The Unguided
5. The dudes from Ice Nine Kills
dudes, haven’t you youngins ever heard M. Akerfeldt on The “Fathomless Mastery” album by the band Bloodbath?
It’s often described as straight-up DM but it’s all Deathcore to my sweet ears.
Give ole’ grandpa a listen (on that particular album by Bloodbath) and get blown away.
I really, Really appreciate your videos (and learned of Infant Annihilator- thank you, from your vids).
But if you can make them a little less generational?
I am 62, but generally like the metal from the early 90s on.
(not at all into Metallica- Iron Maiden- blah blah blah- but prefer Opeth, Morbid Angel, Gojira. . . )
One of the most sensible comments on TH-cam.
Kyo from Dir En Grey. Nuff said
1. Phil Bozeman (Whitechapel)
2. Corey Taylor (Slipknot)
3. Mitch Lucker (Suicide Silence)
4. Howard Jones (Killswitch Engage)
5. Ryo Kinoshita (Crystal Lake)
nice list, Crystal Lake are so underrated
Howard Jones? Corey Taylor? Both are average or slightly above at most. I definitely agree with Phill tho (:
Very cool list.
@@sirsmitty3910 Nah Corey deserves a number 2 or 3 imo. His voice is just so distinctive.
Corey from self titled/iowa days has an aggression no one has ever matched. Def deserves to be on that list!
Don't forget about Winston McCall from Parkway Drive
Still wanna learn his technique
He's so unique compared to other vocalists... Would be my number 1 but Phil Bozeman is so damn good live that I gotta pick him for my favorite.
Parkways first EP and first 2 albums have some of the best screams in metalcore for sure
The first time he screams "until I'm done" from wishing wells, it still gives me chills
Travis Ryan from Cattle Decap has really been proving his worth. One of the greatest, I feel.
Doom eternal profile. Your chill, I respect
1. Kyo of Dir En Grey (idk anyone who has a vocal range like that)
2. Jonny Davy of Job For A Cowboy
3. Adam Warren of Oceano
"he just becomes the toilet bowl" is my new favorite quote in existence
Devin Townsend has the best scream imo.
Very glad to see Sam and Philly B on this list. But let's be honest, CJ Mcmahon is the real MVP here
MovieCore huge minus points for being the least good at enunciating though. He doesn’t say words live at all haha. Great screams just docked hard on that spot
@@rexracer7718 can only do lows
Cj’s highs are insane live, was hoping to hear more on their new album
@@rexracer7718 alex is decent, overrated imo
Grant Herrmann he really is. Mark poida is a much better vocalist imo
Okay legit, that deathcore song about Amino slaps hard. Best sponsor I've ever seen. haha
The girl singing Chop Suey at the beginning is from my wife's hometown 😂 Bob & Bev on TH-cam if you guys need a good laugh
Kyo will always be my favorite!!
Devin Townsend - Scream, clean, range, emotion, all around genius level music. Come on man, no contest.
I'm insulted here's not even on here... He's been screaming/vocal frying and destroying shit for near 30 fucking years...
Completely agree. Devin Townsend is a metal god. 🖤🤘🖤
