I knew this one would be good when I started watching. I was not disappointed. Thanks.
That's a nice J-15. It rings like a bell.
That’s amazing man. I love a repair where it’s not noticeable.
Great result - this is work at a level befitting an ancient museum piece. Your color touch-up work hides most of the damage (even better if you show us the undamaged side first! Sneaky...). I have seen some astounding restoration & touch-up jobs and this is right up with them. It doesn't hurt that you would need a tiny camera (and likely, a chiropractor) to find the structural reinforcement work inside. Well done!
Thank you 🙏
Entertaining to watch and a great repair.
Love your vids. Not only informative but endlessly humorous.
Beautiful work, always!
Guitars are pretty vulnerable...can be dropped, hit a door knob, um...I'd be miserable if I had my guitars injured. Glad I play on the couch lol.
Thank you for sharing, Scott!🎶🎶🎶
You Got It! 😊
Awesome Scott《☆》Funny how Gibsons run into Door knobs😁Kudos on using actual Walnut on your repair. I got a nice variety of Neodium magnets from K&J Magnetics in Pa. I bet your Customer is very pleased with this repair✌😎☯️
Thank You B Dog!
Peace ☮️
The background music is really nice , Scotty. Great uncle Ted’s Stranglehold vibe!

What a fantastic job! Your microscopic brushes amaze me 😉. Very delicate work.
"And there it is!!" HAHAH!! Half believed it. You kinda ARE that good. Nice work as always. 💪😄
Wow, really great job! You are a true artist when it comes to the finish restoration portion of your repairs. Just amazing.
Thank 🫵🏻 You!
Excellent craftsmanship. I am a woodworker and have used similar techniques in my trade although I’ve never had to work through a sound hole. Impressive. Thanks for sharing.
You blow me away. Nice work.
Wow, thanks!
Great work! I was sure you would have to fix that by enlarging the damaged area into an oval-shaped hole and gluing in a big patch.
Excellent work Scott thanks for the video ❤ from England
Thank You 🙏
GREAT JOB!
Wow impressive😮
Beautiful work Scott!
That looks amazing, excellent work !
Wow ! Excellent work !

Superthin CA glue wicked in is WAY better than that gel stuff. Line everything up and watch the magic happen when you touch that crack with a drop. All you have to do is cleat after that.
How many hours of work did you put into this project?
I'm always curious as to why people don't use a filler which matches the wood better? The touchup is impressive, but I feel like introducing a comtrasting material like the epoxy putty makes the touchup harder.
Not trying to criticise, just curious as to the reasoning.
The epoxy putties come in an array of colors but I only have the “pine” 😉
Awesome touch up. at 13:03 are you using shellac mixed with mixol pigments? If so, what's your cut?
Yes! Zinsser Bullseye aresol. Spray it in to an itty bitty cup. Or 1.5lb-2lb cut if you’re working with flakes
