I agree, the F1 game has been around a long time, and i don't play it anymore. If it came to VR I would buy day 1. Its mindboggling the technology exists for them do it; it's crazy that as of rights now its not happening
I waited this official announcement for Hellsplit Arena for so long! But with all the new stuffs from v1.3 and the use of PSVR2 features (and maybe of the PS5 pro's power for enhanced performances 🙏) it's even better than what I was hoping for. It's one year away from now but definitely one of my most anticipated games!
for me.. the f1 support is a simple one... create the vr add-on... charge us for it say 20 bucks (additional)... and see if we support it... i think 100 thousand units sold.. give or take... would be deemed a successful venture... no? most of the work has already been done... port the ps4 or pro version into vr... avoid reprojection... if possible... 90hz would be a dream ask... ofc.
I know. VR2 is the reason to own a PS5 when current regular games are disappointing. It will be a wait until there are enough good to great games to play on it, but it's worth the wait.
I personally feel people think thay way because they mismarketed the hardware...VR i feel is more pop in pop out (you have VR staples pavlov, walkabout, GT7, Synapse, ext....then you get a Full game evey few months (re4? Wander, ext)...for the average household or person just looking to escape reality for an hour or 5 a week...everything you need is there...psvr2 imo is the most underaappreciated piece of technology of all time (the controllers & haptics are awesome)
@@PolishedVideoProductions I like the Virtual Boy and I also intend to become a bigger fan of the PSVRs 1 and 2. Especially 2. I know how to use, appreciate, and find games on it.

I wish CODEMASTERS would simply acknowledge how bizarre it is that they literally have a working VR version of a game but don’t have it on PSVR2. It’s understandable why any given flatscreen game dev might not create a VR version, but I cannot wrap my head around having already developed and supported a VR version of your PS5 game, but no PSVR2. They *must* be aware of how baffling it is to the consumer, yet they say *nothing* about it at all (at least from what I’ve seen). Did I miss some tweet or interview where anyone at the studio addresses how flat-out odd it is, or where they give any insight as to why there’s some unique challenge or barrier to such a PSVR2 port?

With PlayStation thinking of bringing support for PC with their PSVR2, EA wouldn't even need to do anything. So perhaps that's why its a "ongoing conversation" for the F1 24 and beyond games. I would like to experience that either way!
