I am interested but I have a dui history for 4 years and 6 months now. I really want to turn my life around and do something better with my life! My working history consisted of majority of warehouse work. I am an inspired individual that wants to get into trucking so I can save up enough money to start my own restaurant one day. I stopped drinking and desire to do better and I see that trucking is a great way. I am pretty short but I am eager to learn. (Minnesota resident)
Same here I got my 2nd about 10 years ago and I'm not sure if I'm eligible for a cdl and even if I am, I'm not sure anyone would hire/insure me. Really disappointed in myself for that because I'd really like to drive for Kwik Trip
If I were you I would wait another 6mos and watch for it to fall off your license.... If your really serious go to the local DMV and get the CDL manual then download the CDL prep test on your phone and study take the test then get your permit....You'll need basic air brakes combination double and triple haz mat and tankers you will be set to go then all you'll need is a school
Here is my complaint about kwik trip.... Twice I have had someone from kwik trip to call me and offer me a interview for a driving position and when I get back into town and tell them I'm ready to come in they avoid me... Maybe because it's of my age I mean really I am now 58 yrs old and really now I feel as though I am too old to be a lumper and driver.... I have had numerous years OTR and I was even trainer for werner enterprise for 8yrs even got trainer of the month at one time but what do I know right???? What kwik trip is doing by this idea is great but perhaps they need to look into starting a truck driving school in LaCrosse maybe something through WWTC just a idea... I will suggest to people starting out to look to kwik trip and this program but as far as trying to apply for the job again no way you had a chance and blew it or maybe saying 92,000 is just a figure you came up with and you don't really make that much anyways but still in a way I am very Disappointed in kwik trip.....
You get hire and train by Quick Trip for free if you work for them for a year. I'm assuming this is their policy. You will be train to get your class A and train to go on delivery with a driver for another 8 weeks if I understood it right. Give them a try.

I applied and they told me I wasn't selected. I'm ready and I do have experience towing trailers especially my 41 ft 5th wheel camper.
Id drive for kwik trip but im way too fat to be unloading trailers in a reasonable amount of time
You might want to try exercising. Go for a walk. Join a gym. Your health is important.
What do driver assistance make
What about those who do not currently work for kwik trip?
I only have a Minnesota B with air brake.
