    Rory is a baby. The PGA and Golf Channel have a liberal agenda.
    Go Bryson. Go LIV.

    The US Open was a Greek Tragedy with victim and a hero. Rory was in a zone and then lost his mojo and the demons took over. Bryson grinded the entire day focused and did not quit, but accepting fate when it was a bad lie. In the great stories of life everybody loves an individual who overcomes adversity to persevere and win. It is like many stories the essence of heroic stoicism. Chamblee of the Golf Channel stated Rory has to give up his "routine" on putting. The great ones wave the putter over and over to get the feel for the speed. for the moment Bryson's short game saved him and the 55 yd bunker shot clinched it. The proof will be when he plays in The Open and stays in the top 10. Very entertaining for a great US Open. For golf I hope Bryson captures a lot of youngsters' imagination to go out there and hit their first "sweet spot" on the course. The PGA is salivating over Bryson vs. Rory for TV ratings and the increase in gate. LIV in Nashville is already almost sold out and it will be hot out there.

    Rory takes 7 iron on 15 when long is dead! That was the beginning of the slippery slope. Was remembering Jay Townsend being crucified years ago for saying Rory's course management is sub standard and thinking he was right then and still is now.

      Rory needs to move his shot pattern so the hole is in the back. He misses long and left too often. He can get away with it on easy courses but not in majors. I’ve been saying this since he blew the lead at augusta

    The course was setup as a very very hard challenge. I appreciate the level of golf played, congrats to Bryson, great courageous playing style. I have no criticism at all for Rory he played great. Its been less than a month since Grayson Murray committed suicide. PGA major championship golf is a tough game played by human beings that play 10x better than any of their critics could ever play in their dreams. It was an interesting tournament to watch, I appreciate the level of play. I got nothing bad to say about Rory.

    From what you both are suggesting that Rory work on his wedges is not the solution. He can hit 1000!wedges a day but there is no replicating pressure over a putt for a Major. Its just a different side of Golf that cannot be solved at the range but in the head. He almost has to go and train with Navy Seals that get left in the jungle with nothing and find a way to survive. It is left field of a solution, but when he achieves survival by his own wits, then a 3ft side hill putt is a walk in the park.

    I knew that putt on 18 was no gimme. I could see the sidehill lie. at best 40% chance of making it. Glaring omission on the broadcast. Bryson put it in the perfect spot. Crazy that Rory made all those long putts and then missed the one on 16 (after Bryson similarly missed a short one). Should have hit a 3 wood on 18 too with a lead and make the easy par. What no one else talked about was Cantlay's awful wedges. He putt well, but he couldn't get a wedge inside 20' on the back 9. He could have easily been a contender, but missing wedges from the fairway, not good.

      Steve...........why didn't Rory and Bryson hit 3 wood on 18 tee? Head scratcher. Once again we are left missing Johnny Miller. Which begs the question, if Johnny Miller were on Rory's bag, would he win more?

    It's easy to say Rory is having issues right now.. but let's be realistic, he hasn't won a major in a decade, so what's the excuse for the other 9 years. 🤷😂. Bryson was leading Sunday morning, hit some bad shots but did enough on the Saturday to claw something out of it. It was a spectacular win imo.. and having Rory in the mix made it even more exciting. It was a great US open.. and it's great having you guys back on the Ytube too 👍

  • @thomasblock1164

    The simple fact is that most of the great multiple major winners won them all in a 7 year span. Tiger and Jack are the great counter examples. Rory might win one more, but no more than that.

    Rory’s problem on 18 was caused by the tee shot. He was too aggressive and his caddie should have made him stick with the strategy from the previous three days. I would like to see Steve Williams on Rory’s bag. I think that gives Rory the advantage he needs to win the Masters and more majors. Nothing against his current caddie per se but Rory needs that extra 1% that Steve Williams brings.

    • @dinglbarry1275
      @dinglbarry1275 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      give me a break... blaming the caddie.... AHAAAA! You've got to be kidding. You don't even know what the discussion was. Odds are the caddie advised Rory to do what he did the previous 3 days, given that's what he did the previous 3 days... so such a change would almost certainly be a Rory decision (and I'm sure he had his reasons for it) and at the end of the day it's the golfer who hits the shot. Very rarely does a caddie override a player (even the most senior experienced caddie rarely if ever does unless it's something they're 100% certain on such as a break in a put or something). They'll present what they think, the player either agrees or disagrees. If they still disagree they may reiterate it and if the player doesn't come around... they'll say something like, alright you can do it, hit the shot you trust.
      Some people love to look for the goofiest excuses. Blaming the caddie, you've gotta be kidding me.

    Rory is improving his character. Rory’s PGAT major burn out is sad to watch. Must be hard for him to hear PGAT Fans chanting against Rory - USA / USA. No one was surprised Rory missed that putt. Likely Rory won’t win another major - unless Rory plays LIV or European Tour golf for a few years - just to get the love of golf back into his life. Rory’s PGAT major burn out - is just sad. 😀

    Rory right now just has to keep doing what he’s been doing. He has been working on his wedge game and has been improving.
    His putting is improved.
    He has been working on his good vibes. Kind of. He really needs to try to stay positive now; as Bryson did after the pga and has been doing for a while now.
    But cmon rory almost won the US Open. That’s a good place to be.
    That being said it was interesting Phil on fairaways of life talking about challenges peltz gave him. He told a story about breaking a practice record for 1o yard bunkers shots inside a club length.
    Rory needs to master 100 yards; which is kind of crazy to say because it’s as basic as it gets.
    But I will reiterate Rory is playing good golf. Just gotta keep that chin up.

      @ThinkingManShow  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Not hardly.
      Energy and attitude matter in championships. A lot. The intangibles are crucial when the best are separated by fractions. Yes Rory missed the putt on 16 with a pull but Bryson also missed a short par. Rory's putt on 18 was difficult and he made a good stroke. Bryson went for the great sand shot on 18 and pulled it off - he said himself it was an epic shot. Then drained the par save.

      Rory finds a way to not win. Tiger is the opposite example - makes the crucial putt or shot seemingly every time. Ask Rocco, Bob May, Steve Scott, Buddy Marucci......Bryson was willing himself to win this US Open. Many say the same about Jack Nicklaus - he just willed the ball into the hole. The intangibles of sport Doug.
