    Thanks for putting up this video - I just set the steering controls to my JVC head unit. There were no instructions in the manual - this video was great. Thanks again.

    Thank God for this video, I wasn't holding the button's down to program them. Which is obviously the key thing to do here

    Hi, I just replaced my old stereo in honda civic with a kenwood from Nissan Navara ddx7015bt. However, I cannot program the remote. Even after we reset the settings, the button seems already programmed. Do you know how to reset?

      When you're in the steering wheel controls programming mode press initialise

    Thanks for your effort and time. What about the steering wheel phone buttons? Are they supported?

      To be honest I can't recall if they do or don't but in some cases those are optional so it's not part of the main wiring harness and therefore cannot be integrated as the swc only has a ground and 2 input

    Hi,
    You know how the jvc has 1steering control wire from the unit, and 3 on the jack remote input, where do you connect the 1from the unit to?
    Advice please!!

      Hi if you're using a ISO Harness with a swc then you would use that single wire but if you're going to program it yourself without the iso harness then you use the 3.5mm with the 3 wire input

      @@mavsonline my stereo is similar to the one in your video, and i was gna use the same process to program it, I just need to know where to hook up the one wire from the stereo or do i just use the jack input with the 3 wires!

    • @nashfeleti2230
      @nashfeleti2230 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Are you saying that I don’t need to use that one wire if i use the 3wires on jack input?

    • @mavsonline
      @mavsonline  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi no these new JVC And Kenwood unit has a built-in OEM Steering wheel control integration wire which can be programmed to most vehicles so no need for after market adaptors

    I have the KW-V830BT had it installed at best buy. on my vw the microphone button is set to lower volume i want to change it to voice control how do i find it on my unit? the other controls are correct.

    • @mavsonline
      @mavsonline  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Did you install it with the OEM steering wheel control wire or did you get the swc harness? If the harness then you can't change it, but if it's the wire then go to your setting and change it through there.
