I just got this stereo, it's not as impressive as I'd hoped. Changing radio stations is very slow and lagging. The rest of it is just ok in every aspect, not really worth the price.
I agree with you! Just bought this unit for the price but also because on the store, the resolution on the demo looked way better than the other jvc’s. Maybe mine is defective,idk. Also it didn’t come with a remote control! Just disappointing.

Biggest complaint changing between folders on USB thumb drive. You have to press the magnify glass/ search button. then scroll to the top press the up folder possibly more than once then select the folder you want then select the song. there seems to be no next folder button.
Hmm how did you get the background to turn red, mine is blue also where is the treble function, my subwoofer sounds great but I can barely hear my mids and tweets, thanks
I dont know why it matters but man I wish i could change the back drop image like you can on almost every other jvc TH-cam video review shows 😊 otherwise really like this radio. The flat screen buttns also don't light up enough to read them at night time but there's only 5 buttons and you quickly learn which is which without reading it
The video is superb... You have made the most basic car stereo look like a Top end Multimedia set with your awesome presentation... Even though the Device is bare basic.

I got this head unit, and as far as the mirroring goes can you set it to just resume where it left off when you turn off the car ignition or do you have to keep on re casting it to the unit? I should read the manual..
Also the POSITION DTA will not let me adjust the "LEVEL" of the speakers its set to 0, I can turn them down but not up, am I doing something wrong thanks
Just had one installed. Its a nice unit. My main issue is the reverse camera screen is way too dark and nearly impossible to see in the daytime. I have set it a the brightest level. Is there a way to make the screen brighter so I can see whats behind me?????
It's alright. For $160 on sale at Best Buy, I tried one. Best feature is that the USB input will power a small HDD. However, all my songs are in one folder, and some files are not supported by the device, which makes it rather cumbersome to find a track. (Somewhat my fault, and I've used a USB stick with discrete folders, which is easier to navigate.) The screen mirroring is gimmicky, at best. Rather useless in reality, when phone screens are typically 5x the resolution of the jvc screen. Would also be nice to have dual sub outputs. 6 out of 10, in my book. A few more polished features, and it could've been a real winner.

I have a Hyundai Santa Fe 2010, I had to purchase the headunit install kit FP9227K with steering wheel control, there is nowhere to connect the patch lead in to, yet it says its compatible with steering wheel control, I also have lost my USB Ipod and AUX usage since I connected the new unit.

Beep tone is on but doesn’t function, BT constantly drops and I have to re-pair both on iPhone and android and the system date and time reset but not every time I turn off the key so this deck so far is junk. Installer recommends flashing latest firmware but doesn’t see the updates at the unzipped folder contents sitting in the root level of an 8GB fat 32 formatted thumb drive (I’ve tried three drives) deck says no music but doesn’t show there’s anything to update nor does the process start automatically. I’m assuming this may be because it doesn’t need or already has the latest firmware? Any help is appreciated. Deck so far has been horrible.
For the price we can get Android auto compatibility system then why we have to go with it .... I generally like all your video but this one I'm feeling like a paid promotion which you haven't mentioned ....

Good review. But be aware this DOES NOT include a remote. The remote in the video is an additional option you can buy separately.
