Hey mavs i borght a jvc head unit with an iso harness and your wiring harness for my ford ba fairmont. Pluged it all in and ran the wires put it all together and pressed am but all i got was static. The head unit lights up and says its playing the song but there is no song playing

Great video mate 👍 I noticed a problem only you are selling this harness for the BA and BF Falcons and I noticed that the price of the harness is not cheap either $70 bucks is abit odd mate when it compared to $20 harness kits + shipping costs so i gotta pay $90 bucks abit annoying but hoping you can reply to this comment soon.

This is obviously an old video, but i have a diff fusebox in the boot an theyre all permanent, time to pull the center console, the one fuse thats not permanent live is permanently off 😂

Hi, I just replaced my old stereo in honda civic with a kenwood from Nissan Navara ddx7015bt. However, I cannot program the remote. Even after we reset the settings, the button seems already programmed. Do you know how to reset?

Happily, when my '97 Camry wasn't worth the cost of repair, I got lucky and found a 2003 Camry LXE in incredibly good shape (must not have been in Illinois long--not rusty) for a good price. It doesn't bother me a bit that the CD player is broken--I'd put a JVC head unit in the '97, and that will go into the 2003 without any changes. My only problem was that I didn't know how to pull the old one....I needed less than a minute of this video to learn that, and what size socket to use. So, thanks. Now I'm in less of a hurry to get a service manual for it.

Hello, i installed a similar one on my Opel Signum but i cant Control the up screen that comes with the car, any ideia why?

you are one of the reasons the industry is a joke, you dont even solder your connections or use an iso harness yet you have aerpro and dna on your shirt, i can only imagine how shit and dodgey your big installs are i hate people like you so much

the current screen on my ba isn’t working, it lights up but nothing comes up on the screen no matter what i press, will i still be able to use my aftermarket one and control volume with the buttons on the wheel? cheers

Not sure if you can just buy the socket alone. But if you want you can rig up a cigarette socket to go there.

hey mate I installed mine today and the head unit has power but there’s no sound, could it possibly be that the head unit doesn’t have the cd option or not?

Are the wires that connect to the head unit always long like that or are some shorter and you have to unplug them from the side or something?

hey i bought those cords for behind the fuse box and they have died, a wire popped out and i fixed it but it’s still not working, i’ve taken the head unit and iso to a professional to get it tested and they both work and i tested the falcon too. could i get some help?

This is really helpful, thanks for the step by step instructions. Just to be clear, we are not replacing the factory CD /radio. We are replacing the little shelf with a second head unit, in my case a cassette player ( I have a few hundred live cassettes to sort out and might as well use driving time to decide which are worth keeping.)
