- Take a POV quick spin on Gocycles G4 e-bike after company founder and inventor, Richard Thorpe, provides a very interesting technical overview and motivation behind his unique approach to the world of e-bikes. Richard's days at McLaren as an engineer and designer have been put to good use as he has created Formula 1's equivalent of the foldable commuting electric bike. But is the G4 worth the steep price? That we are not sure of, but we do know the G4 is a carbon composite, titanium, and magnesium work of fine craftsmanship with state of the art electronics and an impressive attention to design details.

Ok, it’s not a car. But it does move partially on its own power and is fun to drive, I mean ride. And always cool to chat with a former McLaren engineer who gets how things roll, handle, carry loads, and need to be reliable.
.....and comes with a hefty price tag.
I really wanted to get this ebike this summer. But Gocycle couldn't help me out getting the demo model shipped to where I live.

Thanks for watching and commenting. We did get to spend nearly two weeks with one and and have a full review on the channel. Yes, it is pricey and not for everyone’s wallets. When we did the review this last November they were having really good sales which made them a little more reasonable for some folks.
