using the MRT is an antivirus program from windows xp back then, this will probably not find any modern viruses. which is really ineffective. While malwarebytes is a pretty good antivirus for free, it sometimes shows false virus detections.
Yeah, that’s what I thought as well. OP should make a video where he places viruses into his computer and then runs the MRT virus removal tool to see if it still works or not.
mrt is updated monthly on in support windows versions.

MalwareBytes Stopped being useful when Windows XP went out.
Also... No viruses were actually harmed or removed during this video
I understand your concerns about Malwarebytes. Many still find it useful, especially as a free tool. The video was meant to help those who might not be very tech-savvy. I'll make sure to show more detailed steps and actual malware removal in future videos. Your input is really helpful.
