It should be noted: Those gaming results aren't typical. There can be several contributing factors to those results:
    1. Toms Hardware was using a less optimized and earlier version of Cyberpunk (before the benchmark was added)
    2. There is a CP2077 LTT discovered where it did NOT apply the graphic setting presets, even through it said it did.
A debloat will net between 5-10% performance uplift, UNLESS your CPU is the bottleneck leading to lower performance, which those numbers can get higher.

There is a bug with CP2077 where the graphics settings are not applied correctly, unless you put each setting manually, otherwise it will default to a lower preset, that happened to Linus Tech tips in their 4090 review

There is a huge flaw in your performance analysis against Tom's Hardware's numbers. The Tom's Hardware numbers are from Cyberpunk 2077's launch version (1.03) which came out back in December 10, 2020. Cyberpunk 2077 has seen a lot of bug fixes and performance optimizations since.
Also, one other thing to note is that Cyberpunk 2077's launch version didn't have an in-game benchmark, this was added with the Patch 1.50 earlier this year, in February. Tom's Hardware might've used a different location which is likely more demanding than the benchmark scene CDPR has chosen. That too is another thing to consider.
Edit: Looks like I was absolutely spot on about their choice of test location, to quote the Tom's Hardware article:
Our test is simple: We start near the entrance to V's apartment complex, down on the ground floor. Then we walk down the stairs, cross the street to the left, cross the next street to the right, and head off toward Tom's Diner. Turn left in front of the diner, across another street and up the stairs, and past the two cops talking to some irritated civilians. "But when the Tygers come around, you ain't nowhere to be found!" (I may have walked this path too many times.)
Furthermore, AMD"s drivers have matured, and if you use features like Resizable Bar, you can get even more performance out of the RX 5700 XT, especially when you're in CPU limited scenarios.
The best way for you to gauge the improvements is to actually compare it against an absolute stock Windows 10 ISO, run the games and compare its numbers against the stripped-down Windows 10 installation you've created. That's the only way for the benchmark numbers to be meaningful.
Love the work you're doing, looking forward to seeing where this all ends up.

Cyberpunk 2077 has always been buggy and inefficient. I was amazed when it first came out that everyone believed it was just "So good it pushes the bounds of your graphics card" ... when the reality is the game has garbage optimization.
The trend in the industry has been, for decades, to write shittier and shittier code that runs like hot garbage and rely on hardware improvements to cover for the awful programming. Microsoft spearheaded this trend with Windows and now all the AAA gamers do it... they obviously won't fix the trend because people keep buying the hardware to play the "popular" games.

Chris, when you upgrade to Zen4 you should make a passthrough tutorial, Zen4 has an integrated GPU, even with 2 CU's you can easily passthrough all the pictures to the host-system which come from the discrete graphics card in the virtual system. However, make sure that you then buy a motherboard with good IOMMU. In regard to this comparison with Tom's Hardware, take into consideration that updates might make the game perform the game better too.

LTT and a few other outlets only changed the preset and never took the second step to get an "apply" button to save their settings so their benchmarks were ran on the default stock settings. It should be noted, bold and underlined in flashing letters, that debloating windows usually affects its stability and future compatibility with updates. Windows is NOT modular. You cannot forcefully remove something from the OS and expect it to keep working perfectly forever. Only do this if you are not afraid of having ocasional bluescreens, app crashes, missing things, failed windows updates and etc. While this can be useful, do this at your own risk. Don't call Windows "unstable" if you try to always debloat it to the max.
Still, great video for those who really want it (and understand the risks)!

@@flipinfin Pros play on low settings for the highest fps possible. Reducing the number of active processes in windows can and does increase fps, mainly the 1% and 0.1% lows, or stutter as some call it.
I am curious if their is any tangible fps difference in windows 11 normal vs debloated hence why I left the comment.

@@DrNooberious Its all personal preference. Some want graphics over FPS nothing is wrong with that. Though as a gamer with a decent rig debloating software isn't going to decrease your FPS in a far margin. Hence you can disable background apps lol disable game bar.
If you a have a Nvidia GPU go to your 3d settings and and lower the settings tons of TH-cam videos.
I just used pro players as an example cuz some has the best hardware money can buy and still play on low settings.

This is amazing! Bought my computer 6 months ago and after a few updates my windows was stuttering all over the place I don't have much stuff installed so did a clean install disabled windows updates it runs much better but once in a while I can still feel some stuttering, I didn't even knew this was possible, do I need to do the clean install again for this to work?

Thanks bro, I went from 135-140 processes minimum & 150 processes average to 79-86 processes minimum & 95 processes average on windows 10
I used another debloater (Still used yours), it didn't give me much more space, but it did decrease the ram usage by 200 megabytes and brought the minimum processes 77-83 & 94 processes average
I killed some tasks with task manager and set some tasks to low priority and it got my minimum procceses down to 75-81 & 90 processes average
I still like to use some of the microsoft apps and have some security features on (I downloaded some fishy stuff a few years back) so I didnt get as low as you, but I went from 5.5gb left to 22gb left on my c drive

Curious to know how well that would perform on a Linux build with Proton. I'm assuming Linux would have less processes running in the background out-of-the-box but adding proton would add a little more. Has anyone ever did a Benchmark comparing different Linux distros on the same hardware? Using games that are using Proton and Linux native games?

Depends on the game & screen but with World of Warcraft in particular I found that running at 65 FPS had less screen tearing than running at 23-64fps 60hz. I've noticed similar across multiple systems as well. Course I've never had a G-Sync screen & I usually play with V-Sync off on games that are demanding.
