My system was heavily infected I had a virus that took all the storage space on my pc. None of the things in this video worked and I thought all hope was lost until I tried the AWD cleaner he talked about in the second to last chapter. It detected 101 threats and I quarantine all of them. Afterward I ran the scan again just to be safe, found 14 more threats! Kept running until all threats were gone and now my pc works Real smooth thank you!

The fact that your computer has a virus points to a larger issue; the user is doing something that allowed his/her system to become compromised; visiting dodgy websites, installing software from unknown sources, using torrent applications, inserting A USB thumb drive that is infected, clicking on links in emails, etc. The best practice is to not get as virus, trojan, worm or other malware in the first place.
@@48pluto in principle, that is true, however sometimes it’s not possible to run a non-admin or local account. Safe habits are still the best tool, admin or not.
@@HonuManHi You don't need admin for most things. At my former job nobody ran as admin. And if someone did something weird that needed more privilege we send a guy there to type a local admin password if needed. And we had 15.000 users.

Would you say antivirus software like Norton, McAfee, ect.. are a waste of money?
