Other great things in Kobe (from my visit 2022): - Nunobiki Herb Gardens on top the mountain with beautiful views of entire city & bay - Onsen on the other side of the mountain (one of oldest onsen in Japan) - Waterfall that’s walking distance from the train station (small hiking up stone stairs to the waterfall) - Local Food Festivals next to waterfront - Japanese “Pirate Ship” boat ride in the harbor - Ferris Wheel next to waterfront, ride at night when lit up - Enjoy Kobe Tower lights show at night - Enjoy the young people busking / playing live music outside on the streets - Eating: I forgot the name of specific restaurant where we went, but close to waterfront there is a buffet where you can grill your own food, and since buffet it is pay one price for all you can eat. They also had a chocolate fondue fountain for making your own dessert creations. This was in the restaurant area very close to the Ferris wheel. Enjoy Kobe! It was my favorite place I visited on Honshu
Much needed guide compared to the other guides I've seen so far in terms of interesting sightseeing spots. The other guides made me think Kobe was genuinely boring and not worth visiting if not just for the wagyu kobe beef
@@BrianSpilner-zd6by depends on what you want to do. If you want to try out kobe beef or other types of wagyu/food then they're both really good options. Will you have already been in Osaka without the extra day? If not then I would personally advice in favor of Osaka since you'll just have way more to do based on sheer size alone. Kobe is also calmer (in a good way tho) and smaller than Osaka. Osaka can be done with shrine visits, nerd district Den-Den Town (comparable to akihabara), one of Japans biggest Chinatowns (if not the biggest including MANY food options, Dotonburi is also cool to visit. There's much to do, but don't waste it on activities like the Aquarium and such.

The city loop bus is the best since you can hop on and hop off anytime. It only takes a little over an hour to stop at all the attractions.
That was my plan too to have a lighter walk day, see loads and then decide what to see on the day and what seems most interesting.
so beautiful view of city and good information you shrd
After street shopping KOBE food enjoy exploring friend God bless you
Thanks for the information shared. Most useful 👍

i was planning to spend just half a day in kobe just to try the beef but ended up staying 2 days because of this video.
@@daviddel4909 same here, really want the beef but already planned to go a whole day, just had to find activities to make it worthwhile6
Is Kobe worth visiting? Or should I just use my extra day to see more of Osaka?

Thank you! I think I'll give Kobe a go. 🙏🏼
The beef looks soo good.
Nice country
Hm much is the city loop bus
1 day ticket is 700 yen for adults, 350 yen for kids.
2 day ticket is 1,000 yen for adults, 500 yen for kids.
@tiffb1908 thank you 😊
Tips on golden week please
Tip: Don't go. Very crowded and expensive accommodation.
Task2
Fact:The Chinese are making fun of Kobe's death all the time.
My brother in Christ, what the hell are you talking about?
