      Sorry! I have not tried any other method yet. Tried steaming like Idli but that failed.

    Tried it, came out perfect! My mom loved it but I would prefer something a bit less coconutty, is it possible to replace the coconut flour with something else?

    Just came out not so fluffy as your video showed.. a bit stickier when I broke the idli in half vs. your video. wondered if I should go a bit lower on the psyllium hush? Also, a bit darker in color (could just be the brand of flour I used). Tasted great though... haven't eaten idis as a diabetic for a long time. Thanks.

      You’re welcome :) Yes reduce the psyllium husk a little. Could be differences in brands of flour, husk etc. I hope they turn out better next time. 😊

    Can we make it with just almond flour? I don’t like the taste of coconut in idlis, though I love it in chutney.

      I would have to try it out. Not sure if the texture would be the same

      @@ketocurries8037 thanks a ton! I do see coconut flour being used in many recipes. How does coconut flour differ from texture from almond flour?

    • @ketocurries8037
      @ketocurries8037  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@indianedelweiss104 It’s more coarse and dry compared to almond flour. These idlis do taste good though. You could give it a try perhaps :)

      @@indianedelweiss104 Okay :) Not really, the texture of coconut flour is quite unique.
