it really isn't. coming from someone who used to live on dairy and gluten, it really doesn't have to be that hard. don't try to cut out everything at once, it will be too overwhelming and unsustainable (I did that and failed). just try to switch things up slooowly so that it doesn't feel intimidating at all. eat delicious food, don't eat bland food because you''ll give up. get creative in the kitchen. and don't demonize foods. if you end up eating cheese or sth it won't suddenly erase your progress. if you crave something really hard, just eat it instead of fighting it. then go back to the whole foods. even reducing and not totally cutting out the inflammatory foods can help a lot. it really is possible to switch up your diet and still enjoy food tremendously. don't feel hopeless! the key is to be really gentle with yourself and not beat yourself up. best of luck

Just eat in moderation x some things way less for example you can still eat white rice or bread but have one bread if it’s white for maybe one day a week. Or buy brown bread. For white rice but cous cous to replace it or eat rice with just a small baby serving once a week. There’s so many ways you can balance it instead of fizzy drinks have non sweetened Greek yoghurt or soya yoghurt and add in honey to your liking

When you lose 60 pounds to "work on your PCOS" but then find out shouldn't eat any of the foods you ate to slim down in the first place.

I mainly ended up here because I do have a problem with my stomach going away and I believe she's right in order for me to get rid of my stomach I do have to follow this I'm so upset.......

I do keto bc of how bad my pcos is and I lost 120 lbs in 6 months with really strict keto. About 5-10 net carbs daily. I am now taking myo - inositol and trying to lose a bit more and maintain. Since I've started M-I the extra hair growth has slowed down a bit. TY for the vid.

I dont eat processed foods. Like once or twice a month. The only form of dairy that I take is half a cup of milk in my tea, being an Indian I just can’t live without having mine in the mornings. I cant live without cakes and cookies, especially without making them. It’s just once a month though that I make and eat them, sometimes once in 2 months. Have to be so strict on myself :(

So shocked sugar isn't on this list... Dairy hurt my feelings. It's my favorite :-(

You don’t need to give up dairy.
This is rubbish. Just focus on eating a low GI diet with quality dairy. You’ll be fine. Women with pcos also suffer from EDs so be kind to yourself. X

lol I think processed food = sugar. Proceeded food for the most park is instant sugar. So it’s sugar just in a less natural form. That’s basically the bottom line of most diets that are meant to better health. Get rid of 1) dairy, 2) Gluten, and 3) excess sugar. It’s always the bottom line lol, I’m starting to understand this lol. I haven’t been diagnosed with PCOS but I have juvenile diabetes (an autoimmune hormone problem) and it makes me at higher risk for other autoimmune, hormone, inflammatory, and digestive problems. I have really painful periods and intense insulin resistance during around the time my period is about to start, my body has also started producing antibodies against my thyroid so my thyroid is acting up. I’ve been dealing with a lot of issues that seem to all be connected to my hormones and gut, and every diet video I see to address these problems says the same thing. Eliminate: Dairy, gluten, and excess sugar.

When I went vegan I started to eat a whole food gluten free diet and my pcos symtoms have improved so much. My periods are more regular and I feel so much better. But it takes time.

@@Dina-bn2zc It depends on what you are eating. I have been eating a low carbvegan diet for a cuple of weeks now. Of course you will eat less carbs if you stick to only meat every day but that is not healthy.

I've tried all this and it hasn't worked. 8 went zero dairy, 20g carbs, gluten free, process free over a year ago, with exercise nothing has changed. I'm still so overweight. I'm so sad from it.
