The fact nintendo games are starting to have performance issues when they use to be renowned for being released ready shows they have been just waiting too long to release switch 2 for no consumer forward reason. I admit i am also holding back on playing some newer Switch titles till the Super Nintendo Switch (Switch 2) releases next year. I hope it can brute force power alot of these games and older titles like Pokemon Violet to run better on it.
I bought the Dragonquest 3 HD remake on my Xbox instead of Switch cause I heard it drops frames on Switch, no frame drops on my series X, hopefully new switch fixes performance problems
To be fair it's taken quite a while for Xbox to have the back catalogue it has now, from the XB1 era to the present day and games are Still getting optimised. Only the other day I got a 60fps update for Assassins Creed Syndicate and that's been out years. I cannot comment on how long it took PS for their backwards compatible games because I bought a PS5 and I had a PS4 Hdd and I've been able to play all I had on the PS4 on the PS5. But the PS4 and PS5 are the only PS consoles I've owned, I was a Saturn,Dreamcast,Og Xbox and 360 owner, so I never owned the first 3 PS consoles. You could potentially be waiting years for your backwards compatible games on the Switch.
Yeah you don't typically make videos on the weekends but you do do it so when I do see it I'm used to it it's usually something that you can't wait to talk about that's how I know You're going to make it on the weekend

With the recently announced Xenoblade Chronicles X, I'm hopeful they will make an enhanced version for the new console. At the very least, bump up the resolution and framerate.
With the date that XCX is releasing, it probably will be a cross gen game. My bet with it was when I first saw the release date, I thought it would probably be a launch title for the next console.

I don’t play any game on Nintendo for months. The quality is much better on the Rog Ally, ps5 or series x.
Same, I use my Steam Deck instead of my Switch. Which model of Rog Ally do you have, since I was considering picking it up.
They don’t have Nintendo games tho, which are the best in business alongside Fromsoftware games.
