As for Georgi, I too run and workout fasted. everyone is different. I ran my first triathlon this year and now I to am looking for a new goal or maybe just keep training to do it faster. I completed RTTS (100k non-stop) this year, 2023. This video helped me so much, like when to run, walk, what to eat. Other 2023ers, do you remember the pigs at aid stop 5. I thought I was seeing things!!!!! Kind of intereting watching the last 10k. It was dark when I did it, REALLY thick fog where you couldnt see 5ft infront of you and mud like grease. Who else remembers that???? But....the best running experience in my life. Thanks Heather and the GTN guys.

Everything went a bit belly up, but I finished anyway. I think I had my laws at the same points you did. Was nodding away at the video. Your performance was absolutely amazing. Any more planned? I am thinking only 50k next time 😂

Congratulations- not just on finishing, but finishing so well!! And that was a beautiful place to torture yourself! I've only done 50ks, but I haven't trained well for them (my longest runs were 12 miles), so I'm familiar with that deep pain. I'm training for an extremely tough 50k in 6 weeks, and this has motivated me to get out and put in the work. I can't WAIT to see your next challenge!

I felt like an child on Christmas morning before my first triathlon but it’s good to know that even the ex pro athletes get giddy and excited before something new

Amazing work! I'm signed up for day 2 of RTTS this year and i'm nervous as hell. Your vid was really helpful to know roughly what i'll be up against, the terrain and emotional highs and lows of ultra running. I cant wait but by god i'm nervous... x

Well done Heather, you really did do such an amazing job. I know for a fact if I even remotely spent 30k in my own head I'd have broken beyond repair even without the leading 70k. You should be crazy proud of completing it, especially 4th fastest woman and 50th over all 🙂

Great effort Heather. And thanks for paying homage to us mortals who went through the night to get it done. Kudos to you though for your amazing time! And I see you had a cameo appearance from a certain Ben Parkes doing the 95km shuffle at 18:57 into your video.
