Damn, dude. Dislocating and still winning? That takes guts! I did that one time myself, not the winning part haha, but putting the shoulder back in its place after dislocating it. Felt like time stood still and it was more an instinct, lifting it back in place with my other hand, than anything else. Keeping on running though, that adrenaline must have been pumping through your veins at a record pace. Well done!
Well done, looked exhausting. But great to see the fun that events like these generate. Looked like a lot of families were out enjoying themselves. Hope your shoulder was ok.
I love watching your videos. I only starting running this year (I turned 56 two months ago) and I see everything that I missed not starting as young man. Your videos are an encourgement that I've still have time enjoy at least some aspects to this.
Congrats, Göran! This race looks like so much fun. The first part of the video really took me back to my teenage years, playing MMORPGs and running around following NPCs.
Congratulations, Göran!! Your videos have been so helpful in my running journey. I ran my first half marathon yesterday and felt AWESOME. Thanks for all your advice and tips.
Dear Göran, Congratulations on winning the race. Thank you for the impressive video and the extra portion of motivation. I imagine running on this surface is mega exhausting. I don't even want to think about the almost dislocated shoulder! Great performance, you are a machine.👍
Congratulations! I must say, as an orienteering runner myself, who has been to many different forests, Scandinavian ones like this are my favorite. I would love to have a forest like that where I live. That race looked really fun!
Awesome stuff as always. It's snowing a lot here now and I was not going out for a run today, but you inspired me to go anyway. Congrats on your win and effort!
Watched this today in the morning, returned in the evening to watch again. Yes I went for a run today, and it was gret. Loe this video, i suspect I will watch it a few more times in months and years to come
I'm a young orienteer, and watching your content motivates me to train harder and smarter. Love to see that the off trail running skills paid off in the race ❤
Well done Göran. You need to consider coming to the UK - Lakes is traditional - to try a fell race. Perhaps might not be as muddy as that race, but you can never tell. And your orienteering background will help with any nav issues.
That was interesting and fun to watch. Congrats on the win! I would probably get stuck in a mudhole and pray that someone saves me after the finish lins is closed down and I never arrived. lol
got the pace pro because of your mention. so far happy with it. After getting the watch I started to run the 15min each morning first thing :D so far keeping to it. :D Even though I really dont want to :D
The funny thing is you make it sound like the guy is just over your shoulder. But then the results show on screen and you beat him by 1:50! Looks like a really fun day out, would love to give it a try one day!
I'd love to do something like this. Never come across any such races in the UK. The navigation aspect of orienteering doesn't really appeal to me but a short, sharp race on this kind of terrain looks great fun.
Hey Göran, I just love your videos and follow your channel since a longer time. Always inspiring, helping and motivating. Thanks for your hard work and I already await your next video😊 One Question: which camera are you using? I know, you`ve mentioned it in another video but I can`t remember which one it was...
I have also dislocated both shoulders many times. it's very painful. but as you said, as long as you don't twist it again during the race, its just painful and that won't ruin your race
Woww, 99,999% of runners , including me 😅, would've given up at least the winning goal after your shoulder injury 🤕. Huge respect for pushing through 💪 on pain and winning! You give me motivation to my runs on those days when I have no desire to train (like today😂) I'm going for a 5k run NOW! ❤
I've the same issue with my shoulders, I've had plenty of times where I threw something too hard and I've had a subdislocation. Thankfully never had a full dislocation. Still creepy seeing your arm just dangle there without being able to move it and having incredible pain or feeling very weak and scared it'll dislocate again. Glad it didn't stop you from reaching your goals though!!
Göran, I love the editing on this video. I'm about to run a trail in India (I'm from the Netherlands) and would love some tips on recording a run. What equipment did you use?
Great one!! Congrats! And I love my Pace 3... always thought if they made the same thing but with a better screen I'd be all over it. My only reservation now is battery life.. is it just as good? or really close to the Pace 3 or very noticeably worse?
Way to go. Does anyone ever get sick from the mud? In the USA, we have an obstacle course series called Tough Mudder. Many people get sick from it and sadly there are many unsuspecting victims.
I'm battling runners knee now for a bit more than 6 months. Finishing therapies, but they made my pain even slightly worse. Please take care everyone to train slowly and your whole body.... Even if I don't listen to my own advice.
Love the combination of talking over the race footage
Glad to hear 😊
Your race editing is so nice. The overlays and the voiceovers make this the best running content on youtube.
So happy to hear thanks 😊
Against all odds and muds - we all are very proud 🙂 Congratulations, Göran!
Thanks! And thanks for your support of the channel ☺

Yeah a tough race and really fun to see so many people having fun outside getting their heart rate up 😊
Legend, Keep going, what an inspiration. So good to see all the kids out running & having fun

Get after it mate, the good feels just as good whatever your age.
What a fun race! Göran, congratulations on your win this time and an early happy 3rd birthday to you twins. Thanks, helps a lot!
🤗Always nice to see you plan and execute with a smile on your face🤗
😊 thank you
Congrats, Göran! This race looks like so much fun. The first part of the video really took me back to my teenage years, playing MMORPGs and running around following NPCs.
Nothing better than playing in the mud - I'm old and still like (and do! ) it very much.
Congratulations, Göran!! Your videos have been so helpful in my running journey. I ran my first half marathon yesterday and felt AWESOME. Thanks for all your advice and tips.
Congratz on the win! The map of the course looks like an Africa continent without a middle piece.
Jeepers Goran, you're a machine! 😂😂 True grit!
Really nice to see a bit of Norwegian landscape.
you are an absolute machine! well done on the win and hope the shoulder is back to normal
Dear Göran,
Congratulations on winning the race. Thank you for the impressive video and the extra portion of motivation. I imagine running on this surface is mega exhausting. I don't even want to think about the almost dislocated shoulder! Great performance, you are a machine.👍
Awsome man! Fabulous mixed terrain race, well done on the win. Those bogs were deeep!
This is a really nicely put together video congrats man!
Amazing achievement with the win, and fantastic storytelling in the video! That was a great watch 👏👏👏🙏
Congratulations! I must say, as an orienteering runner myself, who has been to many different forests, Scandinavian ones like this are my favorite. I would love to have a forest like that where I live. That race looked really fun!

This race is so joyful, I enjoy watching it every time you run it!
Winning a 5K by almost 2 minutes despite a mid race shoulder dislocation is impressive to say the least!!!
really love your content, big up for still winning it after dislocating your shoulder!
So cool to see you run this one again! Love it Göran!!
Great editing and respect for continuing despite your shoulder! What a beast
This looks like an animation for running on a treadmill :D especially the shots from your head-camera in combination with the coros data. Super cool!
Reminds me of some English cross country races I’ve done. The exhaustion of trying to keep going through deep mud is hard to describe.
Really amazing result and a fantastic video. Thank you!
Goran you're nuts :)
Haha thanks 😅
Watched this today in the morning, returned in the evening to watch again. Yes I went for a run today, and it was gret. Loe this video, i suspect I will watch it a few more times in months and years to come

What a great video. Loved the insight and first person view. Well done 🎉
Looks like such a fun race! Thanks for sharing and inspiring!
What a fun but dificult race! Congratulations on your win. It was amazing to watch! Hope your shoulder is ok.
Congrats Goran! That is amazing to not give up on your running goals while raising a family. Fellow runner physio here! Greetings from the USA!
Thanks Matthew! 😊
Spectacular, and congrats on the result but also on pushing through the difficulties.,
Wow, epic race and a great win. You’ll be able to share this story for the rest of your life now. 💪🏻
Well done Göran.

Congratulations on taking the win this time!! 👍👍 ...all while dislocating and fixing your shoulder on the run, barely missing a step!! 😲😬
Well done Göran, beast! Hope the shoulder is okay again!
Helt otroligt, snyggt kämpat!Unbelievable! 💪🏻

After getting the watch I started to run the 15min each morning first thing :D so far keeping to it. :D Even though I really dont want to :D
Ohh only partial dislocated shoulder!!! Id thought id been shot when i dislocated my arm. What an amazing effort. Keep it up 😀
Way to go that's a tough one
Great racing and video!
Well done! 🏆 I remember watching your first attempt at this race 😂😂
The funny thing is you make it sound like the guy is just over your shoulder. But then the results show on screen and you beat him by 1:50! Looks like a really fun day out, would love to give it a try one day!
Great work Goran, that certainly is a hard slog!
Thanks haha yep it was 😅
11:10 Shoutout to that kid jumping in the water!
Real racing, thanks for the video!
Glad you enjoyed it! 😊
Grattis till äntligen vinsten,.
I absolutely love your KM pace running through a marsh when you can barely move, is my standard km pace 🤣
Haha yeah you should only compare against yourself 😅
Seeing him fall like that made me laugh out loud, poor guy 😂😂
I'd love to do something like this. Never come across any such races in the UK.
The navigation aspect of orienteering doesn't really appeal to me but a short, sharp race on this kind of terrain looks great fun.
Congratulations 🏆🏆 super beautiful video
Thank you so much 😊
Unbelievable courage to keep going.
Thank you!

One Question: which camera are you using? I know, you`ve mentioned it in another video but I can`t remember which one it was...
Härligt! Bra kämpat Göran 💪🏼

If that was me racing, I would have called it a day after that shoulder dislocation.
That was insane!
Excellent video!
Thank you very much! 😊
congrats man! I really wanted you to win that
Thanks 😁
Now someone has to beat you in next year´s edition :) congrats on the win!
Didn't think that kind of thing would be possible
Running through uneven terrain, marshes and with a dislocated shoulder and he's still faster than my 5k PB 😵 congrats, looks like fun!
I have also dislocated both shoulders many times. it's very painful. but as you said, as long as you don't twist it again during the race, its just painful and that won't ruin your race
Well done, what is the name of that race ? Looks like it might be not too far from where I live
Good job!
Thanks!
This looks like a really fun run.
Running that much is impressive for me 🎉❤

Thanks it was!
Way to go. Does anyone ever get sick from the mud? In the USA, we have an obstacle course series called Tough Mudder. Many people get sick from it and sadly there are many unsuspecting victims.
Ok never heard of anyone getting sick, must be that the Norwegian mud is “clean” 😅
I'm battling runners knee now for a bit more than 6 months. Finishing therapies, but they made my pain even slightly worse. Please take care everyone to train slowly and your whole body.... Even if I don't listen to my own advice.
time to start cranking the pullups and pushups again ay
Congrats on the W! Do you have to make some special preparations to not lose a shoe in those boggy sections?
thats an insane time
