What a day! That last 1700m swim just never seemed to end for me. Best part was running over the finish line with my 3 year old daughter (she even got a medal), worst part, falling on my face in front of a guy eating a sausage roll… 😂
We are never not having fun 🙌 Would you like to see more Vlogs on the channel? We done some great events in the past 👉th-cam.com/video/9KYcmaF5rGo/w-d-xo.html
This is so much fun to watch! Again a race I never heard of. I think who finishes last, picks the next race. Of course that person picks a type of race where (s)he excels in, so (s)he does not need to organize the next one. So GTN, show us the next unknown race event and the next challenge to put you out of your comfort zones! Great video, I gave all my thumbs up if I could.
Awesome video, looked like such a great event! Loved seeing the PF&H guys out there. Ant is an amazingly talented humble guy, glad we got to see him doing his thing.
Nice vid as always! Would have loved a little bit of extra info about the differences to other races and which tools are allowed. As a non-native speaker edited subtitles would be really very helpful for the racing gopro parts. I also really enjoy the commenting voice overs of the other competition vids, so I slightly missed them here. All over I really like these style!
Great to hear you enjoyed the video! Thanks for the feedback and we'll keep that in mind going forward. We're the global channel after all and we want to make sure that we're reaching everyone we can!
Also, so wonderful for you all to be out on my doorstep and remind me why I live here in such a beautiful place. And great that I’m not the only one who finds the hills round here challenging. Haha
James is a good sport. Idk if he was actually nervous or being humble but it is always brave to try something new. Not to mention recording it for tons of people to see😅 & wow, those were some great views!
This was my Breca Gower substitute (RIP Breca) and I was dreading the swim having never done a sea swim race before, but it was okay, though like others have said, I never thought that last swim was going to end, every time I looked up the beach seemed to be just as far away. 😩 But what a setting! Absolutely amazing and the weather was glorious. Shame my Fenland legs don't cope with hills very well! Kudos to everyone else who took part! 👏👏 PS .. Mark wins! 😃
Awesome fun video. Winner? Not being very serious at all, but sorry boys... If your competition is part of an actual race... Compete as a grouper win as one? So easy win for Heather here! 😉
How about joining a local swimming club? 🏊🏻 Clubs offer a great way to meet like-minded people. We hung out with out local Tri club for a day and it was a blast! 👉th-cam.com/video/z3DONLqa2Lk/w-d-xo.html
What event should we head to next? 🗺
Come and do the MudCrew Roseland August Trail event!

Sounds like you had a great day out 🙌 So did we! Hahah we're sure you made the sausage roll mans day too!
Yay - more swimrun content! I'm running my first swimrun here in the States next month; the Hokey Cokey St. Austell is a future stretch goal!
Enjoy Tom! You are going to smash it 💥
how did it go?
@turtleJu1ce Since then, I've run 5 swimruns. Such a fun sport!
Love this. Feels human. More of this almost personal, vloggy, dare I say BTS type of content. I love it when I see you all have fun

It is all in the mind 😎

Heather on a 3h swimrun ; this race is to short for chatting...😂😅

I had a lot of fun watching this video! Well done! Keep doing competitions together in the future!
The Cornish Riviera is so beautiful 🥰 I hope you'll come down for some more events soon. 😊
Do you know of any good ones? 👀
You are all winners in my book🎉
Awesome video team! Your presenter challenges and presenter competitions are the best. And what a cool event too!
Heather doesn't lose, she just lets you think you've won.
It's all mind games! 😵💫
That was great! Really enjoy seeing you guys race together 😁 and the scenery was so pretty, seems like it‘s worth a trip
100% worth it we can't wait to go back down! Can you think of any events we should do? 👀
I usually do the water safety for this but I was away this time and couldn’t make it. And nice to see the Mad Hatters getting more coverage.
Awesomeness!! Thanks for taking us in another fun journey. Love these kinda vids 🤙🏽🥳. I’m ready to try one 🏁
Thanks, where should we go to next?
Love the swimrun content! Keep it up!
Thanks!
Same!
loving the presenter challenges!!
What fun tagging along with y’all on this race!! Great episode!
We loved this event! We can't wait to get out there and join as many local events as possible 🙌
Also, so wonderful for you all to be out on my doorstep and remind me why I live here in such a beautiful place. And great that I’m not the only one who finds the hills round here challenging. Haha
The hills around Cornwall are brutal 🥵 It's not just you don't you worry!
James is a good sport. Idk if he was actually nervous or being humble but it is always brave to try something new. Not to mention recording it for tons of people to see😅 & wow, those were some great views!
Plus he’d also been I’ll recently so maybe not on top form
Awsome vid as always Gang lovd the drins shots quin

James for getting back into things/new challenge!
I love the idea it's just started here in Australia I can't wait to be fit enough to race one
You'll get there Lee! 🙌 How is your training going?
Love running the SWCP. Is it the best place to run in the world. Mind you, with me there's a fair amount of walking as well 😅
It's a tough place to run! Even walking can be a challenge 🙌 Should we send the team out for more cost path action?
Wow! That looks exciting! Wish I had someone to give me the confidence to swim in open water 😩

Great video - what footwear were you were using for this swim run? interested to know what your preference is....
Glad you all had a cracking time w/ the PFH folks! Sounds like we will see you three at Otillo in September?
Turn your notifications and you'll find out 😉
That looked like a great day out.
Thats a new meaning of "anchor" of the team haha
Bravo! This looks fun in a lovely area. Sold!
Will you be signing up? 👀
I'm only dreaming of it. That's easier.
Is there a website that lists swim run events? I’d love to do one!
World love to see an AquaBike event Swim & Bike - for all of those who can’t run anymore (wear and tear of the knees)
We'll see what we can do 🙂
The diplomatic answer is you all won in your respected ability group. (my vote for Heathers team). At least you all had fun and that is what counts.
Great event, I loved it.
Q. How did you carry the gopro in the swim?
I live 20mins from Charlestown and still haven't done this event yet albeit on the bucket list. P.s. Heather wins, Cat. position trumps the others.
You need to come to Michigan and do the Battle of Waterloo.
Obvs Heather 😉
Sounds like fun was the real winner.... and by that I mean Mark!
Mark isn't competitive...much! 😳
Let's all agree that on this day, sport was the winner. Although obviously it was Mark! 😁
Heather is 🤯
Great fun
Are they swiming in the same location every time
Ahhhh ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ James xxxxx well 👍 he all of you xxxxxxxx
James clearly not following the "nothing new on race day" concept ;)
Heather we hear you loud and clear. my god she doesn't stop talking!!!
Mark wins … no real contest there!
Mark wins, his team beat Heather and James Team across the line.
dumb question here… how’s 5.2 + 13.8 = 20?
Mark wins!
Swim with shoes on ?? Not sure how that would work ?? Running with wet feet ??
I was there for my first Swimrun, done it in trail shoes, seems like it was the most popular option looking at the others around me
it's absolutely fine, don't over-think it 😀
I like swimming. I like running. But that seems like a lot of equipment.
Most of the equipment choice is up to you!
I reckon mark takes the win purely because if you account for heather being a woman she's too good so I reckon she needs thay jandicap
