I'd just like to say a huge thankyou, today I replaced my own vacume pump, it was rattling and whining due to oil starvation and clogged inlet filter. Causing breaking and turbo issues.
I have previously had the wet belt replaced, but obviously belt particles had already wrecked the pump.
So thanks for being here, I'd have had to wait over 2 weeks to have it fixed in a garage. Car is the quietest it's ever been, very happy.
I fitted a genuine ford part.
what mileage did you do the belt at ?
68000, have also just changed my Cat at 70.000 as well.
Good video👍

I have been advised to check the vaccuum pump filter but not sure where it is ? The pump itsel is ok
Do you where I can get the solenoid tube from ?
Top 👏🙏🏻👍 Very good
Thanks, Henrique...hope the vid helped you get the vacuum pump on the Focus. When that little sucker goes bad, it causes all kinds of problems...especially with loss of braking assist. Thanks for watching!

The old gasket has silicone, do you know why?
@@tomaszmorawiak1675 because the old gasket was probably leaking and somebody put silicone on it instead of replacing the gasket.
Can this cause loss of power
