Okay. Also make sure you replace your engine air filter. This vehicle can act finicky just because of a dirty air filter on top of the issue you're having.
I had the same issue. I replaced the spark plugs, coil pack, mass airflow sensor, engine air filter, battery, oil change and it's still stuttering, bogging and engine light is on. Do you know what else it could be?
OK, so my tracks is sputtering as well and jerking back-and-forth when I’m idling or at a stop light. I have 13 codes a service stibilitrak when I’m at a stop light popping on and off. I changed my spark plugs and just ordered a coil pack and should be here tomorrow morning. I have a misfire and 3 different map sensor codes going off so I replaced the map sensor and nothing changed. So hoping when I change my coil pack it should fix majority of the problems. What do you think?
Using aftermarket spark plugs can ruin the ignition coil. I’m not saying every aftermarket brand will but if the resistance is way off compared to stock it can happen. I’ve been a tech 20+ years and have seen it a bunch of times specially at the dealer we would get cars where the shop put plugs and a coil in a few times, the shop tells customer it must have a bad computer or something and it’s because of the just aftermarket plugs.
A internal piece goes bad. Crappy design.. you have to keep your spark plugs as freah as possible as well with this motor. Its a very sensitive engine lol. Local driving will kill this motor, it needs the turbo cycled often as well by getting in some decent highway miles.
Update. Replaced fuel pump but still cannot get it to start. Any ideas as where to look next? Spark plugs have been replaced with the coils. Battery was replaced due to it being dead.

My trax is doing the same. Justvreplaced coil and spark plugs gonna replace everything like you did and see if it helps. Car is at 131,000 miles.

My trax is doing the same, were you able to fix yours?
Trax now has a recall on the turbo. Which can resolve jerking while idle.

You may have excessive oil residue built up in your intake manifold. Behind the engine.
My purge valve on my 2015 chevy trax looks like how you described. Mine spudders and I am trying to figure out what is wrong

I have a 2016 chevy trax and the tracking light comes on and then the check engine light comes after it
Replace your coil pack and spark plugs.
@@ragesmasher6964 they told me when the check engine light came on it was bad gas and I got a new gas cap and everything so I will try that

My coil pack is original on my 2014 trax and has 269,000 kilometers on it.
