Not only have you successfully diagnosed and repaired the split hose but also humiliated the incompetent previous mechanic - looks like they'd butchered that engine. Great demo on utilising smoke, appreciate it.

Great video and explanation! I replaced my MAF sensor recently due to a P1101 code but the check engine light came back on after a few days of driving and I now get codes P0171 & P1101. The car also shut off at a stop sign. Any suggestion on what could be the problem? I'm thinking dirty fuel injectors or fuel pump?
Thank you thank you I had same problem but I didn’t have that machine you have so I used different techniques and got to the bottom of the problem. Right now I am having problems with my 2016 Chevy trax master cylinder. Do you have a video on that? and if you do where can I find it?
Question I'm having trouble with my 2017 chevy trax. Engine light and stabilitrak are bothe on code read p0302. Changed ignition pak, spark plugs, fuel injectors, and it's still the same.

Mine is fixed, thanks to you... i found the leak on the intake hose pipe after the MAF sensor...
where can I find the part? I have a vacuum leak in the exact same spot !
You’ll have to get it from your local Chevy dealership.
