Everyone is commenting on how it’s torture to the furby, but I thought the opposite when watching this. That furby has been elevated to levels no other electronic animal has ever dreamed of. That furby can now make new and interesting sounds that no one else has ever made before. Subject 44B is a god among furbies.

I would quite enjoy a regular walkthrough of the current state of Kosmo. Every 3-6 months depending on the level of modification happening. It feels like a living breathing entity made out of cold dead materials.

Imagine if this was the Toy Story universe. This furby was stripped from his skin and now his flesh and bones are exposed, meanwhile cables run trough his body sending electric signals making him talk. He cannot do something he has to hide his pain and play along because he is enclosed whitout a possibility of scape behind a clear plastic where we can watch him. Sam is the Pinhead of Furbys.
That would be awesome if you could just plug into a regular one and play it w/ a keyboard or synthesizer, it would be like a little remote speaker and you could talk through it in its voice.... Actually that sounds like it might not fit but it would be cool. 😁

I had a Furby that I stripped down a bit too much back in the day, all the mechanical parts removed. I found that it was rendered useless, presumably because the mechanical parts are essential to the program. I probably still have it somewhere. I wonder if there's some way to bypass the program and get some kind of sound out of the chip...
