  • In this video we talk about how to correctly set your edge and where you should feel the most pressure in your foot.

I love these foot pressure meter diagrams you include with your videos. Very helpful visual. I'm a type of skater who needs technical details like that. It's not enough for tutorials and instructors to say "skate on your outside edge," "plant your toe pick and jump" or "do a backward 3 turn and check on the exit. " It's the step by step breakdown on what your body needs to feel in order to make something work. And this is really handy. Thank YOU!

Hello, I would like to see a video of forward outside swing roll (one skater) as I keep struggling to do it correctly. According to my teacher my arms should change (I keep my right arm in front all the time).

I like those Paso doble cross rolls. Even though it doesn't involve turning, it's still very challenging footwork to do quickly and smoothly. You two have it down really well. I think I'll start practicing these and try to incorporate them in with my other free skating footwork.

Yeah, Paso Doble cross rolls are pretty quick, you gotta get on the edge right away or they will be late. Also what we do is agility training on and off the ice, it makes doing quick steps a lot easier!
