- This video starts with our California adventures after we finished skating in the Pacific Sectionals in LA. Then we talk about some of the challenges you will face when learning deep edges (not just the backward outside edges).
I love and appreciate Oleg's words of encouragement at the end, starting at 8:51. His words of encouragement are written in my skating notebook. I read them before I get on the ice. They keep me going. When I want to quit, Oleg tells me that with each stroke or push, my skating is improving. Thank you, Oleg.

I thought you said couch at first. My edges are better than anyone's when I'm on the couch daydreaming, and then I get on the ice. ( it's too early for me to be up) They need work, but these videos do really help.
