My Filipina gf is in her 50’s I feel its a win win for me she’s sexy beautiful, loyal, treats me like a king, she will literally lay her life down for me,
She’s from cavite, i left Philippines in December 2019 , got locked out due to pandemic, i met her own line , not a dating site , , i was single cause i left my 27 year old gf in 2019, so when i was allowed to travel to Manila last year , i asked her if i can see her , she agreed , so she picked me up with her niece , and stayed in makati and cavite for a couple of months with her , had to return to USA, and I’m bout to return to be with her-end of September , in November we returning to Tagaytay for a month my favorite place in the Philippines,,I’m retired so i travel back and forth at will ,, she’s my 4th Filipina gf, been traveling to the Philippines since 2014 ,
When I met my wife, she was 40 and I was 44. Today, she's 49 and I'm 53. We're doing great and I'm really happier to have someone with the maturity life experience has given her.
I'm extremely lucky to have found a good Filipina especially for her age. Sometimes Filipina aren't given the kindest cards in life to deal with and they need to grow up very quickly to be responsible. I was looking to do charity work out there for the homeless people everywhere and just happened to meet a girl 23 years younger than me. She was 18 and i was 41. I thought I was going to get pranked/scammed or just broken hearted, but where I was quite immature and playful, she was very mature and sensible and we totally balanced each other out. I do look very young for my age though and often asked if im in my 20s since I keep fit daily and eat strict diets etc. My partner though ... she's living proof that not all young filipina are looking for a rich older guy :D (I don't have the money anyway lol) We are so comfortably happy in life, have never been apart from each other more than 3 hours!!!! it's all very mind blowing to me but I absolutely treasure her and am very close to her family. :) We are looking to get a home together as our next goal, but have always lived together in different places so far. A real adventure.
My experiences being here for 7 years is that over 35 year old filipinas have more baggage (past relationships gone wrong, trust issues, many kids, big money issues, no direction in life, no job, etc..) than younger Filipinas. If you are ok with that then go for it. I prefer less headaches in my relationship. Good luck.
You make a important point, however, I know from experience that’s the case with Asian and European American women here in the U.S. Be careful out there men, learn from other’s experiences or mistakes. It’s truly not worth the headaches.
It feels wierd to you? Keep it to yourself, it´s kinda rude to imply others are ´wierd´. You are 60, so dating a woman a third? This whole what I would do, and impose it on others, is like saying extrapolating we should all be westernized, politically-correct, rainbow-coloured, lesbian men, who walk to work in a creche, and breast-feed orphans. Like ants, we all make our own choices... Philippines ain´t USA... don´t feel pre-programmed...
Oh and woosies will not be required once China invades... I am sure Philippines would be happy to have some extra tech experienced guys, to help them... least of all, when you are 68, you have nothing to lose...
I also noticed that once the girls were past 25 to 30 most had a lot of baggage and kids or husbands or many x-boyfriends, I decided to take a chance on a girl that was 21 when I met her, and turned 22 by the time we got married. That was 24 years ago so I guess it worked out well for me. BTW I was 47 at the time so there was a 25 year age gap. It works if you take the time to get to know them and make sure you are compatible with each other.
Yea this would be a rough one. I am hitting 54yo this year and looking to go visit in a few years once I get some things in order. Also... I notice they seem to like Caucasian men and I am a 5'5" American/Latino/Native American lol.
@@ChristKrew-Rev1.8They like anyone who can provide a better life for them. I've been living in the Philippines (Makati) since 2015. Only a small percentage are with foreigners anyway. All you need is one. Filipinas actually prefer Filipinos.
@@thinkforyourself9334as you said they just want any guy. Doesn't that make you feel bad that pretty much any other guy could have been with your girl in the Philippines?
@@ChristKrew-Rev1.8 Okay sounds like I have one up on you being Caucasian BUT I'm 5'6" 130lbs. I keep hearing Filipina want 6 foot and taller FAT belly expats. Plus I'm in my 60's not 50's. So I'm not without disadvantage's. I have also heard they want Caucasian with blue or green eyes. My high school Latino girl friend's Dad had blue eyes and I must say dark skin with blue eyes does look stunning!
There was a time that I was looking for a 30-35 yo girlfriend. Never thought I would end up with a 24 yo. I certainly was not pursuing her. It’s nice having a girlfriend without any baggage.
Fitting to your username, let’s compare them to cars: the fact remains that it’s almost always better to get a newer model. Besides, if you’re still relatively young, in good health, reasonably attractive, and have your finances in order, you should still be able to get girls in their 20s overseas. I personally think the 30 year olds shouldn’t be on the menu until you’re in your 50s, at least. 😂
It’s easier to date the younger girls ..the are low hanging fruit. It’s only because foreigners are generally dating the Filipina that the Filipino don’t want to date. 95% of foreigners simply could not date on there level in the west..don’t think Filipina don’t know this but there are certainly exceptions to the rule.
I agree with the age 25 divide. Part is about maturity, part is also about who grew up with mobile computers and who grew up without them. I agree that you need to be there to make anything real happen. I also think that getting to know people and having them introduce you to single friends/family is an excellent option, you just need to be patient until lightning strikes. Excellent video and thoughtful discussion. You 2 are awesome together. Good choices made by both of you. Cam
Impatience and Laziness is why people settle. After I decided to choose a Pinay as a wife, and decided what I wanted: 35-50, ( I knew I'm general a 20 something and a province Pinay will be immature, I don't want to "Raise" a girl into a woman) never married, no kids, province girl, were the big ones. I found her and married her. They are out there, you need to go after what you want and not settle.
Different strokes ..a lot of men are fed by ego and I would class myself in that category. Suffice to say finding a partner is not about settling so as you alluded to take your time.
I met a young Filipina at work and she impressed with the deep love she had for her parents and the the rest of her family. It was not just that, but she was kindest person I ever met. To make a long story short this has convinced me to retire to the Philippines and hopefully find someone that has the same deep love for family as well as deep love for her husband.
You are absolutely correct about the best place to meet is online. Keep in mind that the online sites have a lot of scammers and it goes both ways. Maya said it best about wanting to meet someone at the mall- you need to have a thick face 😂. It’s interesting that some TH-camrs claim to have good luck at the malls, it could be that they were being targeted rather than the other way around 😁.Good video. Take care
I consider myself lucky I found and married a filipina (37 at the time we met). I was 42 so the age gap wasn't very much. She is very responsible, mature and really looks like she is 28.
Why would you go for cashiers and sales ladies at the malls. Go for lawyers, doctors, nurses, business owners in their 30s. At least that’s what I did, they are more interesting, independent , intelligent and can carry good conversations. I dated for 3 years and now married to a doctor.
That's very true. I'm a doctor and many of my female friends from college and med school are still single, probably because they hardly have time to date during residency training. Typically, most would settle down around mid-30s to 40s. I got married at 27 and was the first in my batch LOL. I'm now 39 and I still know a lot that are available.
I agree Will, a relationship based purely on physical attraction will only last for so long. Without mental stimulation there’s not much point in the long run. Congrats on finding the right partner.
Hi, I love the way you speak with your wife. She is obviously gorgeous and to hear her speak so frankly and speak about traditional values really makes me consider the path you have chosen.
Hey Gio, I am 60 and met a wonderful Filipina on Christian Filipina that is 22yrs younger than I. She is amazing and I couldn't ask for more attention and she is all in on this journey with me . We will meet in person in August and spend 3 weeks together and I cannot believe how fortunate I am and will actually believe it in August. The great thing about it is that if it does not work out there are so many beautiful Filipinas there it will not be a bad trip no matter what😊
Go to palenke. Small towns, talk to lady selling fruits with daughter beside her, i😮😮that is your perfect filipina Unicorn wife. 1 or 2 hours from big cities, still living with parents and working with mom to help her family. Most likelly she won't even have a phone, and never had boyfriend, cause mahirap but family of values. She will be conservative, shy, polite, humble. That's how I met my wife and now we In canada with 3 babies and a 4 in the way. No barkada, no party party , drinks, tattoos, no kids or having slept in bed with other guys...why Americans chose women that have a high mileage body count?...the less english they speak the better, the most cheap conversations talking about Modern women, Friday night outs, and Bananas the worst wrong choice. Ask yourself Would you feel proud introducing this woman to your mom? It that the best you could get????? Good hunting, guys !!!!
Many of the women in their late twenties and later are either married or separated as they can't get divorced and can't afford annulment. They just kind of give up and accept the fact that they are throw away women. They live with their parents and maybe have a child or two, but that is their life . Filipino men don't look twice at them for relationships but only for sex if the woman allows that . They would love to be able to have a loving partner, and some get to the point where they start to confuse single and separated as the same thing, which is very dangerous for the unwary expats. Asking a woman for a cinamar up front is not very romantic, and it's like asking for a prenuptial agreement right after you proposed. Now you may come across a widow, but they tend to be more likely in their late 40s and up .
I believe referrals are the best way in most countries! I passed once on a girl recommended to me in US. She has made another guy happy for 30 years now. I should've listened!
Great video guys. My partner is 31 and we met when she was 28. It’s kind of rare as she was single with no children. I think though guys need to be realistic in that most girls 31 today in the Philippines will have a child or two as you mentioned. Che and I actually met on Facebook so there are different ways to meet. Thanks for sharing. 🙏
I’m gonna be 60 next year . 40 plus is better i think I can look around I’m in no hurry . I just honestly think I don’t have the energy to keep up with 20 or 30 year olds. I like to travel but I like my rest time too lol. Sleep is priceless
make sure you know who you're marrying. there's no rush! if you see red flags best to be sure. speaking from my own experience, I married young and it was a disaster. then late in my twenties I met my wife and we've been together 25yrs.
Most of the older expats I see in Manila are with girlfriends or wives who are closer to the expat's age. The only older expats I see around here with very young filipina are the ones who are obviously just visiting and the Filipina is there for a transactional situation only. I think smaller areas like Dumaguete and provincial areas tend to have old expats dating younger filipina. It's just not as common or accepted here in Manila.
I can think of 15 reasons to retire in SEA and a girl/relationship isn't on the list. Guys leave drama in their home country just to get it in another. I struggle with this concept. My reasons: 1) Golf. 2) Gastronomy. 3) Sight Seeing. 4) Fresh Start opportunity. 5) Peace. (Bullshit free/Drama free living.) 6) Muay Thai gym added by other activities. 7) Medicinal CBD-THC. 8) Learn to speak Thai. (Currently fluent in 4.) 9) Road Tour of Thailand. 10) SEA Road Tour Travel. 11) Cost of living saving. 12) Beach. 13) Buddhism. 14) 3 or 4 more can be added. 15) Bang as many chicks along the way safely. 😎
Granted, I was always drunk and banging something (US Navy 89-97) in Thailand, but I recall being told Thailand was 94% AIDS infested, at least by 93.......they used to have health cards around their necks.......did AIDS go away? @@panan7777
Hello Gio and Maya. I have no comment upon the best age range, but I have an anecdotal comment, and an opinion, upon online dating. I respect online dating, but it never worked for me. I met my Cambodian fiancee in person, and all my previous girlfriends in person. The problem with online dating is the temptation, for both men and women, to continue searching, even after encountering a potential partner. People continue to search, in case someone better shows up. In person encounters don't seem to suffer from this issue.
I met my girlfriend through Filipino Cupid dating site, she is 29 and is looking to settle down, her previous boyfriend cheated on her, so we are very happy together, the only unfortunate thing was I only met her in the last 6 days of my 28 day holiday, but I'll be going over to Cebu again in a few months time.
What’s the rush? If you’re sitting home online in your country searching for an appealing woman just stick to your choice. It’s definitely a little work to screen lots of profiles but it’s worth it. The challenge is not falling for a pretty face and starting to go back on your deal breakers.
OFW's baby, they are the best! You are both right about finding women in their 30's working in the Philippines. Lots of age discrimination in the workplace there. My Filipina wife was 34 when we first met, she was working in UAE to help support her family along with her siblings. She was a responsible, mature woman and have never regretted marrying her. Great video, Gio...Jim
Filipinas in their 30s have a lot of baggage, to include, but not limited to, several ex-bfs hanging around just in case, another man’s kid you will waste time/money/energy raising, bad tattoos that should have provided you with a glimpse of the bad decision making to come, no job or direction in life, and a manipulative survival mentality (take, take, take, take, take). Get a young Filipina before the baggage stacks up or stick to casually dating a few Filipinas. Playing the hero and trying to save a Filipina in her 30s will cost you financially, physically, and psychologically. Consider this fair warning.
I realize that a woman past 30 who never had children is hard to find, but there is a reason to dig for diamonds. If you think that you must choose between raising another man's child (NEVER) and banging someone far too young for you, you are wrong. You will dig a lot of dirt to find your diamond. But don't focus on the dirt, focus on your diamond.
I get a lot of flak from my family for marrying my Filipina when she was 23 and I was 62 .. I’m a cradle robber, pedophile in some peoples eyes, old fool who couldn’t find a wife in the states😅 the trade off is I get a young wife with no baggage 😊who is league’s ahead of any western woman I have ever been involved with. I’ve finally gotten old enough to not give a shit what my family or anyone else for that matter thinks..
There is no escape from the baggage. The "baggage" is life itself. If it didn't happen before, it will happen in the future. I met my GF when she was 37. I was 47. She had 2 teenage kids (me too) and she was working to provide for the kids and the parents. Now 10 years later, she is still working, the kids have already grown up and are working, and her father already passed away. Now we are 47-57 and dealt with the baggage, what life brought. We are done with the kids, done with the parents, we don't have any liabilities other than our health. Hopefully, we will age together, 20 years later we will be 67-77. And the kids and grandchildren will be around us. I heard of young GFs looking forward to seeing the sugar-prandpa's death... I am not going to be one of them, unless we separate our ways before I become that crippled old fart 😅
well, my experience in my years in the Philippines is that age is not important as it is in the states. so, a Filipina in her 20s is just as mature as a Filipina in her 30s because the culture experience gives them an edge to date.
It all depends ..on the women but generally maturity comes with life experience, to suggest otherwise is foolish. The kicker is finding the right balance, there are many advantages though as one big one is you can find very attractive say 27 plus unmarried women/no,kids etc in the phil’s and this is simply because they have Christian beliefs etc even the modern city Filipina. They are raised like back in the west 40 plus years ago.
I commend a Filipina or any female that stands up and is a true mom to that child. Happens everywhere in the world. Moms are moms. As far as someone desperate and goes to the mall to find a partner...not sure about that...a guy just needs let that relationship develop natural. I love that Maya is sharing her perspective. Gio you are showing how lucky you are 😊 Great topic
Foreign men really don’t realize, philippines dating cycle runs “fast”. Some Filipinos start dating as young as early teens…both in the city and province, it doesn’t matter. If you meet a filipino girl 21-23 she could have dated her first bf in her early teens. Not all date super young but alot do. If a guy choose a Filipina age 30 or older…..chances are she has either been in a long relationship, marriage or dated a few partners….. Most Filipinas at this age will not tolerate “dating games” and at this point in her life is looking for relationship stability. Marriage is her end goal. Keep in mind, some girls will have memories of her past failed relationships, and guys that have played with her emotions….. In my opinion , Its a hit or miss with a Filipina age 30 or older….especially is she has children or have been married. She might not be looking for love anymore (she already experience it) …..at this point in her life she might only be interested in a man that can offer financial stability….building a house and financial support for her children… Or you can strike gold and meet a age 30 or older Filipina that have been saving herself for Mr Right! And offer genuine lasting love
You are bang on …and your last point is spot on. If say a “city modern” Filipina has a long term relationship that has broken down in her early twenties ..it may take her 2-5 years to get back in the “game”..they are so emotionally stunted from it they decide to step back. Yes it sounds crazy but I’ve experienced this a couple of times. If your lucky enough to find that girl ..that’s decided to get back in the game ..you’ve hit jackpot.
Gio and Maya I have found a Filipina who is 48 closer to my age which is 59 and I have been communicating with her since 2019 while she works over in Hong Kong
No go for me because I'm extremely young physically and mentally. I'm very close to the same physical condition when I was a track athlete in high school and college. I won't give my age because everyone says, "impossible".
By and large, you are right, the 30 and plus are more settled, but there are younger in their early 20's who are ideal partners, though you have to look hard for them.
I am a born-again Christian. My girlfriend/fiance is also. Age gap is very wide but we love and enjoy each other very, very much. Communication is awesome. We both desire to serve God together. Marrying in 2024. Blessings .
I am also in an older relationship with an amazing Filipino She saw my Facebook page and saw I was interested in coming back to the Philippines I have been coming there since 2021. She is a very educated Filipino a valectdorian at University,17 yrs secondary school teacher,27 yrs in local Mayors office has four sons all University graduates, her husband passed 8yrs ago. I am from New Zealand.
Interesting topic. I understand that if you are looking to meet a filipina with a job in sales maybe even a call centre you'll find the majority will be in their 20's. I explored a couple of dating sites and also discovered a number of really attractive filipinas in their 30's 40's and older. A few volggers (filipina & expats) have introduced some lovely older filipinas as guests. I'm sure there are older ladies available if you look. I'm not immediately attracted to really younger women but this will be my first visit to explore nefore deciding whether or not to live there in retirement. My game plan? To see if I could settle there. Meet people and take my time who knows if I'll find a good filipina or how old she will be? The biggest mistakes I've heard of stem from ignoring good advice from expats and locals and acting hastily. Just recently there was a story of an American met and fell in love on line. Sold his house his possessions and moved to the Philippines. Discovered he didn't like the climate, lack of availability of food items he enjoyed in the US. Lack of ameneties he had at home so he returned to the states. Gio You and other expat vloggers talk about somexexpats sitting in bars complaining about the Philippines, the people, culture, food etc. I don't intend to be one of those expats.
You didn't really say why 30+ are perfect partners. I want a Filipina who has limited experience with men, is smart, educated and speaks good English. Those tend to be Filipinas from the province who recently graduated college. So, I think I want a 23-24 year old but If I meet a fantastic girl in her 30's, I am good with that.
Unrelated topic if I don’t have a us phone carrier but just get skipe and surf shark how will I be Able to keep my us phone nr? Thanks in advance God bless
How do Filipino women feel about American/Latino men? As well I am a Veteran of the USMC looking for a simple life but active... weight training, Filipino Martial arts, and Jiu Jitsu there... Any thoughts?
I am dating a filipina and I am Latino. I don't think it will be a problem. She told me a lot of filipinas friends she knows dated latino men. Besides the cultures are very similar. There are some that want white men. But most filipinas aren't too picky when choosing someone. They desire most someone who treats them well. Most want an emotional connection.
When I first came to the Philippines back in 2016 my 22 year old college filipina told me that a woman is considered an old maid, if she isn't settled down by age 25.
At almost 30 Maya is still beautiful and as Mature as you can get. Her life story is hard but at least she is independent and liberated. She sure changed your mind Gio about your vlog.
Attend a church. There are lots of decent women to choose from. You just have to be decent yourself. Or you could spend time in places where people jog or exercise. You just have to wake up early and dress appropriately. Even if you don't look athletic, it's ok. You can also go to beaches and resorts. There would be lots of women who are there with their friends and families. There are some who go there alone. You just have to take the chance to introduce yourself in a nice manner. It's just a matter of timing and being a gentleman.
Don’t date a women with a child unless you are serious about being with her for a long term. Otherwise you will really heart the kid. Kind of what Phil just did.
The dynamics of the current dating scene can become a mixed bag of personalities, expectations, and assumptions, especially in Duma or places where expats are around every corner leaving some to believe the various negative assumptions when it comes to expats.
now my dates in the Philippines in 12 years have been all ages from 24 to 40 due to how i meet them. I am in good shape I work out in the gym and lift weights and daily walks so I can meet any age I like above 24 but I meet all ages basically mature. don't forget gio the Philippine change every day it's something to do every day than in Arkansas where it's nothing to learn as a retiree.
The plus side about dating older is maturity! Yet, they come with baggage sometimes too! There isn’t a perfect 100% I get that. I’m just showing the pros as well as the cons!
Definitely over thirty because the mind set isn’t there yet , also the family are probably stop putting pressure on her to marry as much , well it’s still there just the girl grows above it more and has more control over here work/ career situation
I would like to meet a young woman with no children, but what concerns me is that even at my age of 63, l just worry that my young girlfriend/,wife will choose someone younger if she happens to meet someone else. How can you tell she is not into you before it is too late ? I have been with many western woman and they all ( yes, l have had bad luck with woman ) where, l go to work and they are off to visit their "secret lovers". I have started going onto dating apps but everyone l chose to speak to, was a scam ( many l found out came from Nigeria) call it bad luck. There was 1 woman l used to visit in Thailand and was making plans to be with her but she passed away from cancer.
Online dating is risky. I tried it for a bit when I got divorced near 17 years ago. There were a lot of flakes back then and I’m sure that there are even more now plus the scammers. I met my girlfriend of now 15 years through a mutual friend. She’s a Filipina but moved to the USA in her early teens. I’m now early 50s and she’s mid 40s. We’re planning to retire in the Philippines in a few years. If you’re truly looking for a lifetime partner it might be safer and better to meet through friends or somehow get to know her well BEFORE you start dating. People get lucky and meet someone on the first try. My father was working in the Philippines in the mid 60s. He met my mother there and they got married 2 months later. They were married for 50 years until he passed away. We’ve all heard how MANY other people aren’t as fortunate. Filipinas have to watch out too for bad apples as well.
im 48 i live and work in makati... my gf is 23 years old... she is so awesome.. she is the boss of my money and she knows how to save money by not buing food in malls rather going to marked to get what we need... she never ask me for anything and she has a job.
This might be good advice for men in their 50s or 60s. Or if they already have kids. Being in my 40s with no kids, and Having lived here in the Philippines a while, my biggest advice is get off the dating apps! Chatting with women here while not here is a recipe for disaster! Living here and able to meet up maybe, but I still caution that. I meet much more traditional women off the apps. Honestly I find the apps desperate and kind of depressing. No different than back in the west. Just know what you are looking for and get out around the world, you’ll find it. For me personally 30-35+, kids, tattoos, nope! Dating is simple for men and women. Both sides should be asking themselves the same question. “Is this the best I can do?” If yes then perfect! If no, you’re just wasting each others time.
The one great thing about dating online is you can check out the girls …for me it was middle class, educated and gym fit. Ie a modern Filipina, I personally cannot date a provincial Filipina unless they have moved to the city as there’s a huge void in cultures and overall ethos.
I'm 38 so I'm looking for a pretty young woman in the Philippines, age 20 at the most. If you're in your sixties then they didn't a woman in your thirties makes more sense.
The problem is that older Filipinas can have serious issues with psychological baggage of all sorts... It can be preferable to get with a younger woman whose ""life canvas"" was not already painted on...
Based on what is mentioned in this video, I'm convinced dating in the Philippines will be practically impossible for me and difficult to find appropriate women around the age of late thirty's to early forties. It's made even more difficult with so many petite women (4' 9" to 4' 11") requiring a man that's at least 5' 6" or taller, based on interview videos or dating profiles I've seen. I think the Philippines will be a good retirement destination for me due to my passion for travel throughout tropical areas but for dating or having a relationship, not so much.
I think they just put that because they like taller but really there's things to them that are much more important, kindness etc. And on the apps there are plenty over 30s that I see. Don't rule it out cos mostly I don't think height is a deal breaker, especially in that age bracket
There are plenty of filipina in the age group you want who are looking for a relationship. You just need to understand that most come with children, though mostly adult children, and some may still be married but separated. You just need to know what you're getting into.
Some will be thirsty standing in water up to the chin.... Educating myself about the place and have already figured out several ways to keep booth of my heads satisfied. I mean, I'm putting in HOURS of serious STUDY. When having divorce, I did the same: sought out the BEST divorce lawyer, set up the game MY way, etc, and come away with a small change costs. Acting like a cold blooded operator. NO EMOTIONS allowed. They cloud the judgment way too much. The KEYWORD: STUDY and LEARN. ANYBODY having LDR and SENDING money to a woman they never met???? Well, the fool and his money part easily...
There are lots of unmarried filipinas w/o children in their 30s-40s. Most of them are city girls with big careers. Most of my female college friends are still unmarried and without children, and a lot of them only had less than 3 ex-boyfriends, some are what we call NBSB (no boyfriend since birth). I'm 39 btw. But sadly, most of them also prefer Filipino men within their age range.
Gio, there are a lot of teachers who are in there 30's even 40's are single. Also, you find ladies in there 30's who are running their own business not employees, I mean the owner of the business. But a lot of school teachers who are single in their 30's & 40's believe me. Sometimes they even marry a jobless guys just to get married because they want to have kids.
Maturity comes with age but also age destroy innocence. You maybe inheriting hurts from previous men ( that goes both ways). IMO personal introduction, works but online to real time physical meeting is a good way to dip a toe in the dating waters of Pinay especially if the man has limited social connection
I think one of the problems are the laws surrounding marriage and children. Like it's really difficult to get a divorce in the philippines, but separation is common. However, if you get caught with a separated but still married woman you can go to jail. There are also problems with women who have children from a legal perspective because you can't be alone with another person's child. I'm no lawyer, but this is what I have heard and I think it certainly makes it harder to have a relationship with someone who has lived a little. Which is a shame.
Divorce is one of the things that has destroyed America. If you legalize divorce in the Philippines, it will be a nightmare. The poverty rate is already high, divorce will raise it significantly.
A Filipina getting that wedding ring on her finger is not a guarantee of a secure future. An American can go back to the U.S. to get divorced from a Filipina and the Philippines will recognize it (Foreigners from other countries will have to check if their country has an agreement with Philippines for this to apply to them). This follows from the second paragraph of Article 26 of the Family Code of the Philippines: “Where a marriage between a Filipino citizen and a foreigner is validly celebrated and a divorce is thereafter validly obtained abroad by the alien Spouse capacitating him or her to remarry, the Filipino Spouse shall have capacity to remarry under Philippine law.”
I am an old man now married to a Filipina with adult children and grandkids. But if I was single I would probably look at the wet market workers for a lady over 30-40's... Then ask would she like to have dinner together. School teachers are also a possibility. I first went to the Philippines in 1970.
I don't meet Filipina online because you don't see the real thing and for me when i am in the Philippines like Dumaguete i meet girls walking downtown randomly just to say hello.
My name is Rob. I'm actually searching for a love interest via TH-cam because dating apps have never been my thing. Maybe you know a Filipina who would be interested. I’m a 44 year old (young) identical twin. I’m a kind, free-thinking and humorous retiree who has decided not to live in the USA. I’m currently visiting Brazil, but would love to find a fiancé in the Philippines. My goal is be married. May I tell you a little about myself? I don’t have much experience with kissing or dating. I’ve only experienced 3 short relationships. The last time I was intimate was 2008. Since then, my life has been about knowing myself. I know what I need in a wife to be my best self. I want the affection, the clingyness, the playfulness, yes. If my future love interest is SAGITTARIUS or GEMINI, feminine and a little kinky, she would be my fantasy fiance. I don’t think this is asking for much. I have my eyes on Iloilo, Philippines, but I'm open to any city in the Philippines. Can you help me? Do you know anybody?
LOL! Gio, don't laugh! Several vloggers in Thailand have said and told where the call center people eat as a place to meet English speaking Thai women.
i'm 76 and hope that in 6 years that I will be in a position to move to either the Philippines or China, and I'm listening to a lot of online channels now to learn what not to do in dating foreign women. I know it sounds crazy, but by then I hope to be in as good a shape as a 45-50 year old, with medical advances. But I am thinking that a 35-40 year old Filipina free of family obligations would be preferrable. other than that, I'd prefer to remain single.
Another very interesting video Gio. I never thought that women would be divided by age group like that in the PI. In the USA, we have a term for the people that are the face of the organization: FOA = Front Office Appearance. This is why you often see a lot of beautiful people who interact with the public. It's also the reason why a lot of pharmaceutical reps are fairly young and attractive (not that they aren't extremely smart and knowledgeable about the products). Now, this begs another question to be asked. Does the PI consider unmarried women in the 30's to be "past their prime"? If so, that's an extremely sad commentary for the PI.
The number one issue we men should never forget nor discount…. Does she have kids/want kids. May not be a good idea to buy the cow if you don’t want to share the milk
Topical video for me. Communicating is important to me so I would like to find someone who is older and quite fluent in English. I’d also like to meet a Filipina vlogger because I want to get back into video and it would be fun to have a partner for this. An older vlogger sounds like an oxymoron. It will be interesting to enter the dating pool. Planning on jumping in after I arrive around the new year. Enjoy you videos very much. Be Van
Well I should be okay so. My story is different. I am in a long distance relationship with a lady who will be 59 this year. I'm 64. It started five years ago through an ad in a penfriends section of an offline magazine placed by a friend of the lady's who had been married here (ireland) for around 20 years at the time. The ad went something like "Filipino lady 55 looking for someone to accept her and family" I had no hesitation in replying. Words like baggage didn't enter my head. We met once in 2019. I was smitten before I went over there. Anyway, I am going back in november. This time with the intention of getting married, and then at some stage getting her over here. Would I have answered the ad if it had been someone in her 40's. Maybe. But not someone any less than 40. But if I had been living over there and gotten to know someone and felt an attraction to someone much younger than me, that would have been diffferent. The heart doesn't plan.
I've been told occasionally by some Asian woman in Asia, "I'm not polite" At first that was turning me off. However, I now don't care, because it's not my job to satisfy them. It's there job to satisfy me. So best find someone in there early 20's who can be molded.
Dating women in their 30s is a very good idea any place in the world if you can't date women in their 20s. Anyplace in the world, the local men also prefer younger women. A woman in her thirties is more likely to be true to you because their aren't many men who want her. In the philippines you can join a local dating site and find very many women of any age with children who will marry almost anyone. On the dating sites girls say how old of man they would be interested in. Some young girls say they aren't interested in a boy more than 25 years old . If they have children, they always say they'll except a man up to 99 years old. LOOK FOR YOURSELF AND SEE. If you want a woman who adds to your bills and responsibilities and who has less time for you, then you really should get yourself a women with children.
I am 33 myself. My perfect age bracket is 27 to 36. But this over 30 thing really depends on your age. If you're an old guy especially past 60 you should look for partners 50+. 30 somethings are much more compatible and have so much more in common with guys in their 30s and 40s. They have much more to offer than an old guy.
I´m not sure if Westerner was 50+ he´d say that... 25+/- is mature enough. Say you die at 70, she´s only 45, and can then meet that 50+ year old that Westerner has in mind...! Usually the guy brings better financial stability, and is semi-retiring early to enjoy life. A 33 year old has to work, work, work because his career is not as established.
😂😂😂 A 30 something with a 40k income has more to offer than a 60 yr old with 5 million in assets with income of 300k annually🤔 A retiree with 5-10k per mth with no debt 200-500k in the bank is worse off than a 30yr old with 50k before tax income and student loan debt🙄
To each their own. If I wanted a woman in her thirties, maybe has been married or has a kid there are plenty of them in the US. I thought the main attraction of going to the Philippines is that it is socially acceptable to date a woman twenty or thirty years younger? I would think the Philippines is pretty far to go to get something you can get in the United States. Different strokes I guess.
My Filipina gf is in her 50’s I feel its a win win for me she’s sexy beautiful, loyal, treats me like a king, she will literally lay her life down for me,
Awesome ❤
Congrats 🎉
How did you meet?
She’s from cavite, i left Philippines in December 2019 , got locked out due to pandemic, i met her own line , not a dating site , , i was single cause i left my 27 year old gf in 2019, so when i was allowed to travel to Manila last year , i asked her if i can see her , she agreed , so she picked me up with her niece , and stayed in makati and cavite for a couple of months with her , had to return to USA, and I’m bout to return to be with her-end of September , in November we returning to Tagaytay for a month my favorite place in the Philippines,,I’m retired so i travel back and forth at will ,, she’s my 4th Filipina gf, been traveling to the Philippines since 2014 ,
@@elchantajista I say good luck to you guys but you’ve not even living in the phil’s so it’s not exactly a full relationship is it.
Good luck.
Some like drinking another man's beer 😂
What does that have to do with a Filipina?@@damncars2618
You make a important point, however, I know from experience that’s the case with Asian and European American women here in the U.S. Be careful out there men, learn from other’s experiences or mistakes. It’s truly not worth the headaches.
I agree. Plus women in their twenties in Asia tend to be a lot more mature than those in the West.
I just turned 68 last week. I have a granddaughter that will be 20 next week. It just feels weird to date a girl in her 20's.
In my life, I have averaged 25 gf no matter my age. Does your grand-daughter, have a slightly older sister, 25? I am of course winding you up.
Columbia maybe a 20 year age gap, Philippines maybe 30... so yes, please limit a 68 year old to 34+ in the provinces.
Agreed. I have daughters older than the ages some are looking to date in the Philippines. There's no way I'd date a woman under 40.
You're lucky she didn't judge you for having baggage at 47. If she had your mentality, you would die alone.
Yeah, but will she be 30+ soon 😂
Fitting to your username, let’s compare them to cars: the fact remains that it’s almost always better to get a newer model. Besides, if you’re still relatively young, in good health, reasonably attractive, and have your finances in order, you should still be able to get girls in their 20s overseas. I personally think the 30 year olds shouldn’t be on the menu until you’re in your 50s, at least. 😂
she found a sugar daddy.
@@damncars2618luckily there are new Filipinas turning 18 everyday :)
Being 65, I find an Asian woman in her late 40s to mid 50s to be the most attractive and interesting 🤔
any lower than that would be pedo lol
Take care
You got a winner in Maya. Great English, very pretty, from her conversation I believe she is very intelligent. 10 out of 10 Don’t mess it up!
Vert true words indeed! I would never bow down that low since I am a professional too!
How did you meet her?
That's very true. I'm a doctor and many of my female friends from college and med school are still single, probably because they hardly have time to date during residency training. Typically, most would settle down around mid-30s to 40s. I got married at 27 and was the first in my batch LOL. I'm now 39 and I still know a lot that are available.
I agree Will, a relationship based purely on physical attraction will only last for so long. Without mental stimulation there’s not much point in the long run. Congrats on finding the right partner.
Because guys usually want a woman who will put them first and not their jobs/careers.
You can find that anywhere in the West
Hi, I love the way you speak with your wife. She is obviously gorgeous and to hear her speak so frankly and speak about traditional values really makes me consider the path you have chosen.
Hey Gio, I am 60 and met a wonderful Filipina on Christian Filipina that is 22yrs younger than I. She is amazing and I couldn't ask for more attention and she is all in on this journey with me . We will meet in person in August and spend 3 weeks together and I cannot believe how fortunate I am and will actually believe it in August. The great thing about it is that if it does not work out there are so many beautiful Filipinas there it will not be a bad trip no matter what😊
Absolutely!
If you told me she’s 24 I’d believe it. Amazing ❤
LDR 57 years old widow and I am 66 years old widower. Fingers crossed. This is a reasonable age gap and I hope we hit it off. In Manila July18.
Reekay said stay off the dating sites. Maya said stay out of the malls. So where are the Expats supposed meet the Filipinas? 😀
In church? It's where the good ones are supposed to be, no? 😀
@@Kosty19 yea suuuuuuure... my 1st BJ was from a preacher's daughter so I didn't believe you 🤣🤣🤣
Many of the women in their late twenties and later are either married or separated as they can't get divorced and can't afford annulment.
How about referrals from friends to meet Filipinas, I don’t think online dating is a great place to meet, lots of scammers online?
Referrals are probably the best way!
Great video as always. I will be there in October staying at the Henry. Keep up the good work. 😊
make sure you know who you're marrying. there's no rush! if you see red flags best to be sure. speaking from my own experience, I married young and it was a disaster. then late in my twenties I met my wife and we've been together 25yrs.
That's true
I can think of 15 reasons to retire in SEA and a girl/relationship isn't on the list. Guys leave drama in their home country just to get it in another. I struggle with this concept.
My reasons:
1) Golf.
2) Gastronomy.
3) Sight Seeing.
4) Fresh Start opportunity.
5) Peace. (Bullshit free/Drama free living.)
6) Muay Thai gym added by other activities.
7) Medicinal CBD-THC.
8) Learn to speak Thai. (Currently fluent in 4.)
9) Road Tour of Thailand.
10) SEA Road Tour Travel.
11) Cost of living saving.
12) Beach.
13) Buddhism.
14) 3 or 4 more can be added.
15) Bang as many chicks along the way safely.
😎
Sound plan. For me the No. 15 is the best. Strongly agree....
Granted, I was always drunk and banging something (US Navy 89-97) in Thailand, but I recall being told Thailand was 94% AIDS infested, at least by 93.......they used to have health cards around their necks.......did AIDS go away? @@panan7777
This is truly a public service announcement. Hope some youngsters consider this.
The challenge is not falling for a pretty face and starting to go back on your deal breakers.
good job, buddy!
Solid
Sounds so complicated. I like being single.
It is an awesome place to be single. Much cheaper too.
Very interesting nice interview from awesome couple ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
My God, your wife looks so young for her age. The 30 year Olds there are absolutely gorgeous.
Oh and by the way thanks for letting me voice my opinion on your platform no disrespect Sir . GIO
She might not be looking for love anymore (she already experience it) …..at this point in her life she might only be interested in a man that can offer financial stability….building a house and financial support for her children…
Or you can strike gold and meet a age 30 or older Filipina that have been saving herself for Mr Right!
You found a winner!!! Congrats. I Enjoy your vidcast
I met mine she is 47 and still looks amazing
Thanks for the video. She was good share the message
I think the ideal girlfriend is half your age + 7.
I'm currently 30 so I want to date a girl who's around 22.
Blessings .
I am also in an older relationship with an amazing Filipino
She saw my Facebook page and saw I was interested in coming back to the Philippines I have been coming there since 2021.
Yea he didn't sell this one too much 😅
Unrelated topic if I don’t have a us phone carrier but just get skipe and surf shark how will I be Able to keep my us phone nr? Thanks in advance God bless
Maya impresses me as an honest, intelligent, and kind girl.
Been chatting with a beautiful 39 yr old I met on Christian Filipina. Planning on flying to Cebu in November to meet. I am 58
Yeah, Phil broke that girls heart, and he didn’t even do it in person what a coward
Crappy way to break up with somebody!
I must've missed what Phil did?
Which Phil?
I'm 40 and honestly I'd say 25 to 35 preferably younger but it would depend on the person....
The dynamics of the current dating scene can become a mixed bag of personalities, expectations, and assumptions, especially in Duma or places where expats are around every corner leaving some to believe the various negative assumptions when it comes to expats.
What place would you recommend? I'm moving to the Philippines for a year.
now my dates in the Philippines in 12 years have been all ages from 24 to 40 due to how i meet them. I am in good shape I work out in the gym and lift weights and daily walks so I can meet any age I like above 24 but I meet all ages basically mature. don't forget gio the Philippine change every day it's something to do every day than in Arkansas where it's nothing to learn as a retiree.
Have you learned the language?
From what I've seen in a lot of videos, there are a lot of 30+ women in the marketplace and some street vendors.
Poor as hell. You will be her welfare dream come true.
There are lots and lots and lots of ladies 30 - 60 years old online! I'm 68, and 45 - 55 is my ideal age range, because pregnancy isn't an issue.
Look into biblical marriage.
I want to get lucky like you Gio 👍🏽
My last GF in the US was 50 and before her they were in their early twenties most of my life
I am an old man now married to a Filipina with adult children and grandkids. But if I was single I would probably look at the wet market workers for a lady over 30-40's... Then ask would she like to have dinner together. School teachers are also a possibility. I first went to the Philippines in 1970.
Maybe I should go up to the sales girl and ask to see the manager!!!!!
LOL
Well done buddy good for you
I don't meet Filipina online because you don't see the real thing and for me when i am in the Philippines like Dumaguete i meet girls walking downtown randomly just to say hello.
Do you know anybody?
i am looking for one over 30 but 90% of them have kids and i dont want one with kids , so i trying to find 25-30 hopefully to find one
You both make a wonderful couple! 🇵🇭🙂
LOL! Gio, don't laugh! Several vloggers in Thailand have said and told where the call center people eat as a place to meet English speaking Thai women.
I am glad you said "In your opinion" there are alot of women in their 30s in the bigger cities. I live in Philippines, and there are alot of them.
i'm 76 and hope that in 6 years that I will be in a position to move to either the Philippines or China, and I'm listening to a lot of online channels now to learn what not to do in dating foreign women. I know it sounds crazy, but by then I hope to be in as good a shape as a 45-50 year old, with medical advances. But I am thinking that a 35-40 year old Filipina free of family obligations would be preferrable. other than that, I'd prefer to remain single.
You a lucky man dude. Maya is wonderful.
If so, that's an extremely sad commentary for the PI.
id want to meet a nurse
underrated post
I feel you brother.
The number one issue we men should never forget nor discount…. Does she have kids/want kids. May not be a good idea to buy the cow if you don’t want to share the milk
Maybe I missed it in the comment. It looks like no one mentioned church... I guess each to his own..
That is my plan.
I've been told occasionally by some Asian woman in Asia, "I'm not polite"
At first that was turning me off. However, I now don't care, because it's not my job to satisfy them. It's there job to satisfy me. So best find someone in there early 20's who can be molded.
I think I might go look for a Filipina in her thirties at church.
That’s what I was thinking.
It’s called a church date. It’s the best kind.
Dating women in their 30s is a very good idea any
place in the world if you can't date women in their 20s.
Did Maya say a 'sick face, or sexy face to approach filipina in mall?.
😂😅 I'm confused
Ofw mostly over 30's even 40 like myself still single🤣..and independent🤣
I am 33 myself. My perfect age bracket is 27 to 36. But this over 30 thing really depends on your age. If you're an old guy especially past 60 you should look for partners 50+. 30 somethings are much more compatible and have so much more in common with guys in their 30s and 40s. They have much more to offer than an old guy.
50+ sure, not available 35 is perfect for most, and having things to offer? Speculation, I think each case is different.
Where is a 33yr old gonna find well paid jobs in Philippines? unless digital nomad, and I´m not sure WFH will stay the course; for less experienced..
Different strokes I guess.
how old are you?
