Elf genes is dominant they always materialized in the offspring even distant ancestry like for example Lord of the ring in this case with union with goblins the physical characteristics probably would take her mother while it may have green skin for example, every child born from an elf would be beautiful or handsome be it half breed one.
Stick-thin elf has like 800 years with only her hand to "comfort" her, no way she's losing out when it comes to strength so long as it's limited to just that arm. Though I suppose she may just be lacking in overall weight in order to leverage said strength.
In a D&D campaign one of my party members killed a random farmer and wore his skin(and somehow always passed deception checks despite being a dragonborn), throughout the campaign absolutely every npc we ran into knew(not knew of) farmer Dave(which was the farmers full name according to the dm) in some capacity because apparently he's some legendary war hero and every one of them led with "farmer Dave? I thought you were dead" and he always replied with "I got better.
I thought of something more like that scene from Regular Show where Skips and Death do an arm wrestling match for Rigby's soul, but Seldana having a massive buff arm just by ******* herself
My only guess as to how the elf made it to the finals is that everyone else knew they wouldn't stand a chance against the goliath so either they gave up or didn't enter in the first place.

Although I have suspicions that she is not a strength build, there are huge dex and charisma stats - because my concentration is lost to charm debuff and my heart got stolen.
