I use Mirror Finishes Touchless since you show cased it on your video with the black Colorado. I’ve shown it to multiple friends and they are always impressed. I’ve incorporated it into everyone of my maintenance washes. I also like their tire shine, I probably get 2-3 weeks out of it.
Oh sweet. The same guy mentioned that in one of my comments recently too I'd never thought of trying others besides quick beads or mirror . I'm watching now close thanks
@@GetOuttaDodge1 no I use it as a drying aid. I’ve used it as a spray & rinse though. The results are also amazing. Tec Choice is 1 product I have no complaints about. I wish he would’ve used it in the video also to compare them against the other ones. I’ve been buying tec choice by the 5 gallon for over a year now. I’ve tried a lot of different products and I always go right back to this one. Even when I’ve used it in direct sunlight the wipe off is hands down the best. It’s just easy to work with in my opinion.
Great video! I believe you have mentioned this in prior video, but I only care that durability last at minimum until my next wash. I use Tec582 the exact same way as well for vehicles with no protection (even diluted 1:1, it does the job to make drying faster). If these products last more than 1 month, I am super happy as the longest I go without a wash is 2 weeks. Time to purchase defender and topper!
I absolutely agree! I use tw seal n shine as a spray and rinse and also griots 3in1 wax works great that way too! Seal n shine lasted me 3 months before the hydrophobics took a hit on a daily driver. 4 months on a weekend driver. With no topping off the protection on either vehicle. I have not durability tested griots but I expect a bit more since it is a longer lasting product. Currently using tw ice spray wax as my drying aid
Stay Slick, I have the Metro Master Blaster, and always blow the water off! My thinking would be prior to blowing the water off with the Master Blaster, spray the product on, then take both off together! I wouldn't spray product and rinse as shown in your video. Hopefully more product would stay on the paint this way! I don't use any toppers, but after watching your video I'm thinking about the Extreme Solutions Topper. What do you think about this weekend warriors thoughts?
If I’m picturing this correctly I would say no that wouldn’t work. The product needs to either be applied as a drying aid, a spray and rinse or as it was intended after the vehicle has been dried. You can’t spray the product and and blow it off it won’t do anything but leave streaks.
Been using tex 582 for years, but i do it a bit different, i just spray right into the water stream and then blow dry, really saves time going around the vehicles. And there is not really a need for a drying towel
I like using Pro Wax Synergy Ceramic Detailer, very cost effective product that last longer than any detailer I've every used. Last time I ordered, cost $29.00 (US) for a gallon. I do not use it wet, first dry vehicle with leaf blower, than spray & wipe dry.
The real difference is that touchless sealants like McKees37 Hydro Graphene are formulated to be activated by water, the wipe on wipe off sealnts don't do that. So sure the other three might have added a little protection but it's not going to last. If you get a dedicated spray on rinse off solution like Hydro Graphene it's going to last the recommended 4-6 months. Even on my wheels one coating of Hydro graphene will last 2-3 months and it looks almost like a ceramic coating when it cures. You can also use it as a multi month topper on your ceramic coatings
Good info thank you. That’s why I usually use mirror finish touchless cuz it gives me the same performance. Also longevity doesn’t always matter depending on the situation. For example if someone details their vehicle weekly or even bi weekly all of these products would do the job.
Hi I was wondering have you ever used megs synthtic spray wax as a drying aid I switched I bought small bottle bead maker feels grabby when you wiped off compared do you find the same issue ?? With bead maker I mean from all the hype the sickness this that it's ok not what people made to be in my opinion
Yea that’s a debate a lot of people have. There’s no arguing that beading is very pleasing to the eyes but sheeting actually removes water from the surface faster.
Hey ceiling applied by hand will always last longer that’s why at the very end of the video I recommend that you put down a base layer the way it’s designed and then if you want to you can do it like this to maintain it
Wheels are painted just like the body of the vehicle so technically it will cross-link with it. The problem is wheels have way more contamination than paint does usually so you would really have to Claybar and fully Decon for it to work, right
@@StaySlick off label use is different than following application instructions. Off label is like hey look I can use this wheel cleaner to also clean interiors, for example. But when a product says “spray on dry panel, then wipe with microfiber” or something like that, they say that because they tested and determined that was the most effective way to apply it. Can you spray and rinse and get some effectiveness, sure, but it’s not the best way to use the product.
@@R900DZ I believe you missed the point of this video bud. I don’t remember saying it was the most effective way. It was an experiment. I said that at the beginning. It’s supposed to be in good fun.
Understood. Yea I don’t expect anything to work differently than how it was intended but it’s not going to stop me from experimenting and sharing my results. That’s the same reason I don’t try to spray and wipe diy detail quick beads or mirror finish touchless. I’ve done it but I didn’t expect it to work.
Yes it can be used.... but won't last long as the real sealant,,,,, and do tell me no I've done it all with all these spay coating bead maker you name it i try it all
Dude I've done it with Turtle Wax Seal n Shine and it works great as a spray and rinse protectant
Topper is amazing! Wasn't expecting those results. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and experiences with these products. Stay slick!
Right on not a problem thank you for watching.

My go to is Tech Choice. For the price and result and the longevity of it you just can’t beat it. 🤷🏽♂️ my opinion.
A lot of people agree with you. I’ll have to check it out
you use tech choice (yellow) as a spray and rinse? i love it as a drying aid when i hand dry. please let me know
This & 3D bead it
Best I’ve found for results & cost
Both smell great too

Love the hat! so cool to see. I now trust everything you say and all your videos 10x more!
Haha thank you man I’m a sinner just like the rest. Thank you for watching.
For me the best option for the bead maker is spray per panel & microfiber towell. For spay on & rinse off DIY or Wet Coat

Great video...simple with real world testing...I use Xtreme Solutions but not as a spray and rinse... I certainly will now...
Try technicians choice
I use it and it works well as a rinse off drying aid
I have a gallon I’ll check it out. Are you using it straight or 1:1?
New mic who this ❤❤❤
Bro it’s light years ahead of the rode mics
@@StaySlick 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I use Topper and Adam’s Slick and Slide
Topper is my go to. Performs well over a full blown coating and great for detail spray.
Technicians choice 582 works as spray on rinse off too!
I actually have some at the house I’ll try it out
thanks for the video, I look forward to trying touchless after I finish my technicians choice
Thanks for another great video comparison. I use technicians choice but I might try extreme solution topper.
I tried this with my sealant about 3 weeks ago 😅 I was surprised it worked especially for wheels
Me too it works great
DIY detail quick beads is my favorite topper, im just a home detailer tho
I may get that Mirror finish for my RV travel trailer.
It’s so incredibly easy in a foam cannon for rvs.
They’re a good company and touchless must be their best selling product in their lineup.

Good video! I do the same thing with Griots 3in1 wax
Good to know. Thank you for the info
Another application I use Pro Wax Detailer, I use it with ONR. Spray dirty surface with ONR, then the Detailer and wipe clean & dry...
Nice I’ve done that with bead maker
Hi Gary, I might have missed it in the video. Do you dilute xtreme topper in this demonstration?
Been using tex 582 for years, but i do it a bit different, i just spray right into the water stream and then blow dry, really saves time going around the vehicles. And there is not really a need for a drying towel
Bro I actually just barely started doing that. I agree saves a lot of time
I've been doing that with quick beads lately diluted 1:1 with distilled water and sprayed into the water stream. Works great
I love Topper as a drying aid.
Technicians Choice 582 is a great spray and rinse

Absolutely. I’m a believer now.
Which products did you dilute and what were the dilution ratios?
What dilution do you have mirror finish touch less in that bottle? Does it still work the same as it does in the foam cannon?
4:1
I have never seen the P&S inspiration defender before! How does it compare to Beadmaker as a stand alone? Thanks for the content!
It’s sio2 as opposed to polymer and it lasts roughly 6 months.
Great video Topper definitely did great , gonna be using mine the same as well now.
Thank you for the input.

Bead maker is great. The slickness they are referring to is after application on a dry panel. That’s where it shines the most.
@@StaySlick do you find it is grabby during the wipe off ?
The slickness is ok the megs synthtic I feel is better and dosent grab during wipe off for me
What dilution did you use to make touch less in a spray bottle vs using in a foam cannon?
Same as in the foam cannon. 4 oz touchless and the rest water.
@@StaySlick Thanks man!! Keep up the great content!!
Thank you will do
Sir how are you thanks so much for this video
Doing great. Glad to help
I use Protector Wax from Koch Chemie. Takes 30ml to 1L bottle and last roughly 1-2 months from what I've seen.
P&S is starting to market their products like Adam's or Chemical Guys with an overload of options and marketing gimics.
Griots Garage ceramic 3 n 1 spray!
Now the question is how do they compare to what a lot say is the best: gyeon wet coat
Hoping to inquire if it is possible to use lake country black pads with meguairs ultimate polish? Thanks so much
Yes sir
Boss, Formula 4 is my go to!
Wassup bro how you doin

Ryobi 1800 psi.

Wheels are painted just like the body of the vehicle so technically it will cross-link with it. The problem is wheels have way more contamination than paint does usually so you would really have to Claybar and fully Decon for it to work, right
Wash the car with a good soap. Then foam cannon griots garage ceramic wash and coat. Bam done ! Lasts for several months
Topper appeared the best. Defender 2nd
Agreed
Give carpro hydro2 a whirl.
After some time has passed, what are you relying on today for your choice of spray and rinse?
At the end of the day, the instructions on the bottle are there for a reason.
Not necessarily. That’s why these types of this are called “off label” uses
