    That reminds me a lot of Griot's Garage Foaming Poly Gloss. I might have to give this new Protector Wax a try. I have had my eye on this product since it was released but never purchased it yet. Looks like a good product for adding a quick layer of protection to the vehicle as a topper product to a good base layer of sealant, wax, or a coating.

    I've been using this for a while now, I originally bought it as a quick way to wax my wife and I's dailys. It works so incredibly well i've put off ceramic coating my new weekend car and just use this stuff.

    The paint looks amazing on this car. Was is corrected and ceramic coated at some point?

      Thanks. No paint correction or ceramic coating. ProtectorWax has fillers and will hide light swirl marks giving you amazing results without spending hours correcting or polishing.

    The instructions for PW clearly say on bottle. 30ml in 1l water for spray bottle or pump sprayer. If using in foam Canon adapt concentration accordingly.... 🥴

    I am curious how protector wax compares to foam+ I really like the idea of a foam applied coating after wash and haven’t found many other products out there like it. Glad to see it worked in the sun because I am in AZ, it is always sunny out here, blessing but a detailers curse

    Is it okay to apply it via the same foam cannon i use for applying wheel cleaner and snow foam? Any Problems with that?

    • @hydromobiledetailing
      @hydromobiledetailing  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I wouldn’t recommend using same foam cannon due to cross contamination and possibly damaging paint.

    Thanks for posting this, great video. I’ve been using this stuff out of a spray bottle, diluted with some water but I either get leftover staining or dry looking spots on the black trim pieces, would foaming be better? Did you say only 30ml? Did you dilute it?

    Is KC Protector Wax a wax replacement and how often should this be used?

    • @hydromobiledetailing

      It’s all preference. Protector Wax can be applied in seconds while waxing takes time and multiple steps.

      @@hydromobiledetailing In your experience how much does it last? I just bought PW and then about DIY detail ceramic gloss. I know they're a little different, but I like the fact that the ceramic gloss lasts a couple months. This allows me not to worry about the protection for longer (because I don't always have access to a place to detail my own car). That being said, I try to apply it once a month at the very least. Does PW last also a couple months?

    • @85CEKR
      @85CEKR 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @yashshah6328 in my experience it lasts about 2 months, the thing is it's so incredibly easy to apply that I use it at every wash so if you wash just once a month you'll never need to worry about it.

    How does a protective wax compare to a ceramic coating? Is there a reason you offer a protective wax over a ceramic coating?

    • @hydromobiledetailing
      @hydromobiledetailing  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Cost and time. Ceramic coating is expensive and requires extra steps before applying but are durable. Protector Wax might last 1 month.

      Don’t need to but you’ll get better results if you do.

    This video is a car crash. First of all
    you foam the car then start using the mitt to effectively rub any dirt trapped in the foam into the paint…wtf…you should rinse after the first foam, then re foam, then you can crack out the mitt. Secondly the way you screw the foam cannon head onto the container is a shite show… always screw the cannon onto the head to avoid stripping the treads
