great video. different than all the other Solus unboxing videos. liked where you went the extra steps and showed how to adjust the buttpad up and how you measured the bolt lift and explained where the bridge can be attached. keep up the good work.... that's why I subscribed months ago..... you talk about the details
I had long suspected that a lot of these high priced actions were ridiculously over priced and Aero Precision's Solus action easily proved this. I teamed it up with a 6mm BR 26" barrel and it's just Amazing. In the process of buying another one which will be based on the 6mm XC. I Hopefully one day BCA will embrace Bolt Action fireams and start selling their own Actions like Aero Precision. This will help bring down the prices from their ridiclous levels.
Yeah-it has me really nervous sometimes. I’m sure someone, if not aero eventually, will just make a wing nut for it, with a total of two pieces and call it good.
Yes. Next video is currently being shot and edited. Fireformimg loads have been made to get rounds down the barrel and groups recorded for initial impressions.
Building out a Solus this month. Appreciate the knowledge throughout the series!
Great video, cool concept on the bolt lift/speed. Excited for the rest of the series!
Thank you very much!
Love how you tested the lift weight on the bolt!
Thank you!
Can’t wait to see how she shoots
Thanks! Me too!

Solid video. I can imagine stripping or losing that set screw in the cheeck piece knob after a few times of messing with it.

This looks like a 22"? Any advantage of going with the 26"? Looks like the fps is minimal.
What size allan key from removing the locking on the cheek rest?
Is there a 223 bolt and magazine offering
Does it have an adjustable mag catch?????
1:36
Not sure how I don’t catch that
@@tonybott8482 hey, no worries!
@@Reloadingallday seems like it would be a good builder wish they had a weights for them internal
It'd be nice if the stock folded.
Yeah! For most recent update they are coming out with a folder.
@Reloadingallday what is the aero action bolt pattern? They have some rifled barrels on Brownells. I'm just too new to bolt actions to know anything.
