Man that came out great! Gotta get those rippers down. I ordered the top link for my tractor I am going to give that a try and see how it works before putting extra money into another remote system.
We don't have a youtube account but I will send you some video of our "hill" in northern Nevada...lol! We don't have to buy aggregate - the whole damn mountain is a rock! LOL!!
There is no rock at all on the lower third of our property. Where I was working at in this video is fairly rocky. On top of the hill there are rocks larger than my tractor. If you did want to share something I have a Facebook page with the same name thanks for watching
You might have tried a grapple to collect bigs rocks to save back labor? I don't recall but I think you have one? It's all one big learning experience!
Man I just can't get over the amount of rock you have just below the surface. I guess I have a similar situation, just that it's tree roots. Don't know which one I'd rather have. Great vid as always.
LOL, why didn't you just put the ripper's down in the first place? :-) I really like that top and tilt, I might have to break down and add the tilt part I already have the top. Thanks
When you first mentioned the rocks I was wondering why you didn't have the rippers down haha looks good though that box blade did a really good job I need one now haha
@@RockhillfarmYT at first I thought u had the 2 middle ones down than, I was thinking they were just below the surface. Then I saw that u didn't have any down lol and when u stated that we didn't belt u know , I lol
I have a really dry sense of humor that people who know me are used to. Sometimes I get caught up on what I want to say to the camera and where I want to set the camera and I forget to really pay attention to the job at hand
Wow I would say that turned out really good. I’ve got to get going on my top and tilt set up. You look like a professional doing that. You wouldn’t want to sell that top cylinder that you broke would you? I think I could fix it and use it on my tractor.…
Yes. Not a lot to go wrong on a box blade but I put a lot of hours on it and had no problems. Seems well-built and not likely to break. I think it’s appropriately sized to the tractor the only other consideration is whether I would rather have this or a land plane
Man, I've fought an cussed through a 800ft driveway 10ft wide.... then realized that my box has rippers. Wasn't that bad of a job after that. I've got plenty of those moments that I think back on and laugh at. 😂
Yeah, I knew better than that. My only excuse is sometimes I’m so focused on the cameras and what I want to say that I forget about the actual job at hand Good to know that I’m not the only one who makes silly mistakes
@@RockhillfarmYT I "cut" a good 3 acre strip once, only yo realize the sheer pin broke on the drive shaft shortly after I glanced back to check everything. I drove an hour and a half back home because I forgot my tractor key only to find it in my jacket pocket that was in the truck. It happens to the best of us.
Could except I do a project like this every day. Almost 500 hours on the tractor in the last year which is why I’m in the market for a skid steer Everything you do with the tractor could be done better with a bigger machine but sometimes you use what you have
Well the tractor is kinda the jack of all trades. Itll get most tasks done, maybe a bit slower.. and that's what matters. One would go broke trying to get the perfect piece of equipment for every job.

Thanks for watching. Today is a concrete day
I put my kiddos to work on picking out rocks! Great job Brock!
Thanks
Nice camera view of the box blade in action looking down from the back of the tractor. Good job moving all that dirt.
Thank you sir
Looks good now. We may have to start calling you Dash Riprock!
Excellent job. And great photography too!
Thanks a lot
Brock, the ripper!! Haha!! Great job, man! 👍
I like it

Good choice on the top link.
Funny Brock you say that about the rippers.... Also I've asked before if people would like to come to a rock party at my place... Lol
Right. Thanks for watching
looks right on Brock
Thanks

Lol we do what we can from this end. Worked out well.
And I appreciate you for that
You might have tried a grapple to collect bigs rocks to save back labor? I don't recall but I think you have one? It's all one big learning experience!
I do use the grapple as a rock bucket sometimes but it’s got pretty big openings on the bottom and drops half of it
You could share some of that rain in western Kansas we are really dry out here.
We have had a couple of 2-3” rains and it won’t dry up

It is really handy

I was thinking that you should be using the rippers from the get go lol
Yeah, I had to give myself a hard time because that should’ve been The first thing I did

@@RockhillfarmYT I like that your real . So keep doing what you're doing. Todd
The rippers ripped. Wonder if adding weight would help?
Let’s get stoned at Brock’s. 😂
Rippers? I knew you would figure it out eventually! You're not stupid. When an old man seems wise, he's just made all of his mistakes already.
Thanks my friend

Thanks. I’ll probably hang onto that extra cylinder
Would you recommend this box blade?
Yes. Not a lot to go wrong on a box blade but I put a lot of hours on it and had no problems. Seems well-built and not likely to break.

What is the name of the song in the video? Another great video.
Simpler life by bo the drifter.

Yes sir.
Not true Brock. I was yelling at the screen to use the rippers, but you didn’t hear me, LOL.
Thank you. I appreciate that
I was mumbling the whole time about the rippers. Guess you couldn't hear me over the engine. 😉
I appreciate the effort though
I said it but you just couldn't hear me over the tractor. 😂
I appreciate it.
How can we tell you what to do. It is not like we have a open line to tell you what to do.

When you get the building up you need to take a day off. It will be well deserved.
I doubt it but thanks for the suggestion
You should see if someone has a small bulldozer, and use that.
