    I have a 60 in brush master brush hog for my skid steer then I added myself a quick attach for my bobcat excavator also on the top of it. I use it all the time with both machines.

    That hydraulic top link sure came in handy! I wish I had one.

    My favorite is the rollover box blade that have been around for a hundred years. Some companies call it the Earthcavator. And it has been manufactured by several different companies over the decades. I have also used a few like yours with the hydraulic rippers.
    But as always every box blade needs a top and tilt kit!
    And then one also needs the hydraulically operated rippers.
    You will save a lot of time with the top and tilt kit and hydraulic rippers. With a rollover box blade you don't need the hydraulic rippers because the whole box and rippers all flip over all at the same time. that also means what they flip over box you can have a fully filled box going forward or backward.
    See videos on TH-cam.

    You need hydraulic tilt to complete the rear setup. You have the hydraulic top so it would make these types of jobs way easier! Great work with what you had, no doubt!

    I wouldn't trade you trucks, I wouldn't trade you trailers, and I wouldn't trade you tractors (only cause I don't want to hurt my tractors feelings).
    Its all different as you know. Glad your setup is working for you, stay safe.

    im in oxford, nc and commented on a couple of your box blade videos- I am a first time box blade user- I need to level my riding arena bc I got some sandy dirt that ended up being a mistake before all our recent rain/ice and snow ;( so that said I now have a pond in my arena- I used a drag but that was a fail- then found my daddys blade in the weeds out back- so used it after getting the rust off the posts on the 3pt hitch- and leveled it then started moving only to fail again- SO now im going to use the box blade. but learning here and on other TH-cam vids.
    we got good weather the next few days and so maybe i can get it level and dried out and get some screenings in- any advice? do you give box blade lessons lol- I have an older blue a bit rusty sitting for 20 yrs box blade daddy used to use on his old kabota- I have a JD 740 w/bucket

      You can easily pull a 8'. I could easily pull a 8' easily with my 85 hp Massey Ferguson and often wished for a 10' I can pull a borrowed 10' wheeled scraper with a 4020 John Deere with loader tires.

    Wrong attachment, you should be using a rear-blade. Box-blades don't mix the road materials like a rear-blade will. Try viewing one of your State's training videos on gravel/dirt road maintenance.

    • @SlackerU
      @SlackerU ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Shadow6a I don't know what you mean. I watch the State videos & the strategy that is applied to 50% of roads across the US works quite well for maintaining my driveway. Box blades were for our great-grandparents who used wire-rope to move around their loader bucket instead of hydraulics. I view it as a genius-grandchild's strategy vs a retarded-grandparent's outdated/untested/never-competed delusions.
