I believe Charlie Jones lived in Denver in the 80's and 90's - he was basically the Broncos' personal announcer in those days. He did most games played at Mile High Stadium on NBC.
Thanks for posting! I went to this game and Elway was a dagger once again! I had it on tape but my storage building got flooded about 20 years ago and it was a casualty!! This was a good game. Still have the Gameday program
The film made Jack Pardee and the Oilers sick? How do you think us fans felt. Probably the worst loss of Pardee's tenure. Yes the Bills game was bad, but we were better in 1991.
I agree, the 1992 Oilers we're dangerous but erratic, while the 1991 team began the season 7-1 and lined up for the game-winning field goal on the road against the league's best team (Oilers had trouble finishing).
Denver had a terrible offense in 1992, and with all that talent on the Oilers D (their line had open lanes on Elway), that was a mismatch...until the final 3 minutes.
One of my favorite announcer duo's may they both r.i.p.
Yes, they sure did work great together

Amazing looking at those AFC West standings and seeing San Diego at 2-4 and not even thinking they could win this division
I remember this game.
GO BRONCOS! However, Warren Moon and the Oilers always made me smile.
"Mile High Stadium- football's version of the Boston Garden."

I don't understand it. They let you upload this game but not the 1982 Browns vs Oilers, or the 92 Thanksgiving game.
I know bro, it makes absolutely no sense to me.
2:17:51 Todd Christiansen was a little upset.
The Oilers looked like crap on the road.
Another disappointing loss for the Houston Oilers against the Denver Broncos.
1:46:40 nice
