I've been searching for this game for years. This was the only game I was able to go to in Buffalo. I was 14. The only thing I really remember is the flee-flicker play. I was sitting in the corner of the end zone about eye level with the height of the ball. It was majestic! I did leave the stadium at the beginning of the 4th quarter to watch the rest of the game in the bus we came in. It was soooooooooo cold and I was just wearing jeans.
I was at this game, so never saw it on TV. This was the day they put "12th Man" on the wall and they handed out a commemorative coin that I still have somewhere. I wanted to see John Elway play, but couldn't remember. I guess he was out for this game.

The Hall of Famer was an all-purpose machine during the K-Gun era. imagine at Oklahoma State, having upper class man Thurman Thomas at RB, only backed up by the incredible Barry Sanders in '86 and '87. The replay at 2:29:45 really gives you a better idea of what Thomas saw and how he beats 4 guys along the backside of where the play should have been run.
You think the Bills remembered this Daluiso onside kick a few weeks later in the Houston wild card game? It worked so good against em, I bet they filed that away only to use it a few weeks later.
