I was in those east side floating stands back in the 1960's as a kid and understand the love between the Bronco's and their fans. No matter what the score or the season record, we couldn't wait for the next game. The great ones that made it happen, Floyd Little, Rich Jackson, Marlin Briscoe, Dave Costas, Al Denson, Bill Thompson, and on and on. I remember them all like it was yesterday. I remember when Rich Jackson put the hit on Joe Namath Sept 21, 1969 in their 20-18 victory over the Super Bowl champs and how gutsy Joe Namath was to get up and play on after writhing in pain for what seemed like an eternity. So many incredible moments in those early years. Left Denver for Indiana in 1971 but am a lifelong Bronco Fan despite being here in Colts Country (my #2 fav). Someday, I'll return to Denver where Mile High use to be before I pass, just to spend one last moment in remembrance of most fun I've ever had in my lifetime. Thank you Denver, you'll forever be in my heart.

It's a sad memory for me, the injury to Eddie Mac ended his season, and the next morning was 9-11. I can't think of Eddie without that horrible memory of that Tuesday morning coming back to my mind. This video was so incredible, however. I loved every second.
@ 22 seconds, Lou Saban, "They're killin' me Whitey! They're killin' me!" Always cracks me up. I used to work at a place and if things were getting a little down and people were kind of moping around, at some point someone would say, "They're killin' me Whitey! They're killin' me!" and everybody would just start laughing.

Well, Denver does lead the series all time 30-23 with a 4-1 record in the post season. Broncos over Patriots says history go Broncos! @UchihaBl00dBlitz92
At 39:23 the footage of Elway in high school, he throws the ball from about the 7 yard line to the 10 at the other end of the field. It would have landed closer to the 5 if not caught. Basically like a 85 to 90 yard throw as a high school kid. Unreal.
From 2006 to 2010, that was one of the darkest times in our Broncos history...josh mcdouchbag was probably one of few mistakes made by our Mr.B, and Shanahan just could not build a contender after No.7 retired, managing only one playoff win! Coincidentally, our Broncos has enjoyed a status of being a contender since...the aforementioned No.7 returns to our Broncos & rebuilt the team & brought back the title!!

Been a fan long before Elway ever took a snap in Orange and Blue. And watching this again, with it being so old. Its disturbs me how many Bronco players are not in HOF. The list is long. From owner to players. Mr. Bowlen deserved to be in years ago. For sure before Jerry Jones did. As for players, the list is long. I do know this. Still my fav WR duo, Rod Smith and Eddie Mac. Two most under rated WRs in league. Ed being one of the toughest WRs I've seen to this day. Orange and Blue Forever.
@@Abandonsoyciety How about the worst season in franchise history since the sixties resulting in John Elway becoming our GM(!), a miracle playoff win the year after featuring an 80 yard OT touchdown from Tim Tebow(!) to Demariyus Thomas(who's also not in this video), followed by a signing of the GOAT, Peyton Manning, and an upset loss in one of the greatest playoff games ever. Oh, and the single greatest regular season offense in NFL history. And a complete turnaround to become a defensive powerhouse and finally get that Super Bowl you mentioned. Other than that, yeah, there really isn't that much to talk about.
Damn, we really need an updated version of this. A lot has happened since this was made. That magic 2011 season with the Tebow to DT overtime TD in the playoffs. And of course 2012 when Peyton donned the orange and blue. And finally it goes without saying the 2015 season and Super Bowl 50. I wanted to list 2013 but for obvious reasons I try to forget how it ended. GO BRONCOS!! SB50 CHAMPS!!
I have been a Bronco fan since I was a frosh in high school in HOUSTON, TEXAS in 1972, and we have never gone 33 seasons in a row .500/breakeven or better, or just above .500.. You are forgetting the 6-8-0 team with Charlie Johnson hurt and out for good replaced by Steve Ramsey at qb in 1975, the 2-7-0 1982 strike/lockout shortened season team with Elway a rookie and playing ineffectively, sharing time with Steve deBerg who also played; and, the 5-11-0 club in '90 with ELWAY AND young RBACK, BOBBY HUMPHREY out for chunks of the season, the 7-9-0 team one year before Terrell Davis' rookie season= '95, in '94; and, the first season post-ELWAY AND THE BACK TO BACK SBOWLS, in 1999 AT 6-10 WITH FIRST, BUBBY BRISTER(0-4) AT QB, AND THEN BRIAN GRIESE(6-6); 2007 when they made the change to JAY CUTLER from a distraught and ready to quit JAKE PLUMMER who was down about his college and ARIZ. CARDS teammate, PAT TILLMAN getting killed in overseas combat by accidental friendly fire; and, 2010 with the ORTON injury fiasco= 4-12 the worst season since 1964. And in 1972, in the Broncs' first season that I rooted for them, they had Don Horn at qb and after a 4-1-0 start for the second time in three seasons, lost all but one of their last nine games= 5-8-1 in 1970, and 5-9-0 in '72's season WITH JOHN RALSTON COMING IN AS HCOACH. The next season in '73 all of that young talent just blossomed once new qback and veteran, Johnson the former ST. LOU. CARDINAL came over from the HOUSTON OILERS, and the Broncos finished 7-5-2 and if not for a 24-19 loss at Denver vs. OAKLAND in the last game of the season, would have made our first playoffs. In 1974, Johnson guided Denver to a 7-6-1 record, and from that point on TILL THE LAST WINNING SEASON IN 2016-17, the Orange only had 7 losing seasons(1975, 82, '90, 94, 99, '07, and '10). In that time they finished .500 eight times during that 1974-75 - 2016-17 era= meaning 43 seasons, and they had only 15 seasons of .500 or less in that frame. Only 6 times when they finished over .500 did the Orange fail to make the playoffs, while only one time as a .500 team did they make the playoffs(2011 with ORTON & TEBOW). That meant that 24 of 43 seasons in that era the Broncos qualified for the playoffs.. Those are the real numbers. If Denver fails to finish .500 this season, that will be five straight losing seasons, six straight non-playoff seasons, and from 1974 to now= 24 of 48 seasons in the playoffs, 12 losing seasons, and 29 of 48 seasons over .500..with of course, 3 of 8 SB GAMES ENDING AS DENVER TITLE WINS.. The only time DB went on a .500 or better consecutives streak it encompassed hitting seven in a row twice. Seasons above .500= 5 in a row, twice.. That's all, good..but not what you said. The real numbers..not 33 winners or .500 or betters in a row. Nope..

Ahhh yes, " The Drive " ! My then wife Mary & I & my Brother Joe, were ALL at Dad's apartment. It was at ground level, so I'd walk outside, just to get some air. Dad was so nervous he couldn't sit still, & he just paced his apt. Joe was laying on the floor, the carpet, closing his eyes in between plays, & Mary was in the rocker, hands gripped on the arms . What a moment that drive was ! When we scored, I knew we'd win .--------------MJL< 76 y/o

It's a sad memory for me, the injury to Eddie Mac ended his season, and the next morning was 9-11. I can't think of Eddie without that horrible memory of that Tuesday morning coming back to my mind. This video was so incredible, however. I loved every second.
Go Broncos!!! #Orange&BlueNation!!! Exited outa my mind for Super Bowl!
I have been a fan since 1976, my family since 1960. I cry regularly when re-watching and cheering for my beloved Denver Broncos! One of the greatest days of my life was going to Super Bowl XXXII with my dad when we won our first World Championship!
Fan since 77! I'm still pissed off about SB XII!! Red Miller kept Craig Morton in too long and we got down 20-3 on that bogus TD by Butch Johnson.
1:08:48 - The memory us Broncos fans will have in our minds forever.
Thanks for this Treasure.
3 time Super Bowl champions now.
Ive been bleeding orange since '76..... and the win against Green Bay STILL brings tears to my eyes :D

John Elway is my FAVORITE QB of all time I have SO SO SO MUCH RESPECT FOR John Elway he does so much for my favorite team the Denver Broncos
This is what it's all about! Go out, and play your hearts out, and come out on top! Broncos on 3, 1-2-3 BRONCOS!
I just smiled for 1 hour and 42 mins. Love my team.
Denver Broncos deserve to become the Super Bowl dynasty 🏆🏆🏆
Blue Jay brotha we are a dynasty
I love seeing Pat Bowlen in his fur coat on the sideline cheering on our Broncos against the browns where Elways creates history with The Drive.
Almost forgot R.I.P and thanks for what you did for the broncos Mr. PAT BOWLEN
It still hurts to this day 2022, old browns fan.
Owning the Patriots since day one
Lol
Derek Blankenship Denver Broncos 13 Boston Patriots 10 BRONCOS FOREVER
Well, Denver does lead the series all time 30-23 with a 4-1 record in the post season. Broncos over Patriots says history go Broncos! @UchihaBl00dBlitz92
@@B0LtActi0nz4LifE Including an 9-8 record against TB himself. GO BRONCOS!
At 39:23 the footage of Elway in high school, he throws the ball from about the 7 yard line to the 10 at the other end of the field. It would have landed closer to the 5 if not caught. Basically like a 85 to 90 yard throw as a high school kid. Unreal.
if you actually count the 5 yard strips, it appears that they were not playing on a 100 yard field.....
@@CowSaysMooMoo That's still a 70+ yard throw. And accurate as one could possibly hope for.
John Elway is the man with his magnificent 7 at the Super Bowl XXXII & XXXIII
From 2006 to 2010, that was one of the darkest times in our Broncos history...josh mcdouchbag was probably one of few mistakes made by our Mr.B, and Shanahan just could not build a contender after No.7 retired, managing only one playoff win!
Coincidentally, our Broncos has enjoyed a status of being a contender since...the aforementioned No.7 returns to our Broncos & rebuilt the team & brought back the title!!
Terrell Davis nothing but class. He is not only a great player but is a exceptional man. Fallowed Denver in 1970 till today.
I’m an Australian big BRONCOS fan let’s go ORANGE CRUSH !!!!!!!!!
I’m a youngin so I didn’t get to witness Elway a whole career and was really young his last years but everytime I see Elway story I cry thank you so much for the upload I’m happy to learn as much as I can about my favorite team !!!!!! My first Jersey was a Terrell Davis Jersey me and my step dad had matching ones and ever since I’ve been a broncos fan !!!!! All the way from Charlotte nc I hope one day I can make it to a game I actually wanna move that way sometime just everything about the team is amazing the fan base is great no matter ups and downs we are always there for the broncos I’m proud to call myself a broncos fan
Thanks for posting this.

I've been looking for this forever 😀😀😀
Time for NFL to give us a history of the Broncos part 2. Missing the Peyton Era and SB 50. Hopefully we get a part 2 in a few years.
Lol aside from one superbowl not much to talk about.
I love the Broncos
Elway, Alzado, Gradishar, Foley, Mecklenburg, Peyton. Some of the all time greats to play for Broncos.
No Sammy Winder?
and probably add rodgers in there to cause he might come to denver after this season.
John Elway is my favorite QB of all time he’s so inspirational and I have so much respect for John Elway
I'm a saints fan we had to wait longer than the Broncos but it was worth it allso
Even the cutler years with marshall were kinda fun. till the end of the seasons anyways.
33 years of non consecutive losing seasons and then the last 5 years. Man having an owner may be more important than most people think.
I have been a Bronco fan since I was a frosh in high school in HOUSTON, TEXAS in 1972, and we have never gone 33 seasons in a row
.500/breakeven or better, or just above .500..
Only 6 times when they finished over .500 did the Orange fail to make the playoffs, while only one time as a
.500 team did they make the playoffs(2011 with ORTON & TEBOW).
Nope..
@@robertsprouse9282 Good lord bro you literally wrote a whole essay on TH-cam just to prove somebody wrong over such a simple fact 😭you must have nothing interesting going on in your life if you had the time to write all of that. ℅BRONCO GANG OR DONT BANG℅
One love to all my bronco gang family.
Im so old I remember Floyd Little, the M&M connection, Rick Upchurch and when Alzedo was new to the team.
2 things:
If we loose every game and beat the Raiders once a year it was a good year
If we loose every game and beat the Raiders twice a year it was a fantastic year
Anything beyond that is pure gravy
Fuck the Raiders
GO BRONCOS!!!!
ps: And lets not forget my personal favorite.. the hardest hitting man in the business, Mr. *Dynamite*, the amazing Mr Please Please himself, the star of the show
#27, Mr. Steve Atwater.
This was great. Thanks for posting. Go Broncos!
Plummer was so underrated.
Plummer was born to early he would be good in this era of football

Luv my broncos no matter what orange fever
Man, there's a whole nother chapter to add to their legacy after this! I'm looking forward to the Lock chapter next :)
Orange Crush!. I live for the Denver Broncos, one of, if not, the best franchises in the NFL. Our History is rich and our stories are wholesome. There are only a few things in my life that I truly love and Denver Broncos fall underneath that category.
Broncos could have been a dynasty but we lost 3 super bowl in 4 years but I'm still happy to be a Bronco for life!
I'll always be a fan of yours mr. B
I almost cried when elway retired
Denver I LOVE YOU
46:33: Man, Pat Bowlen was such a character. Who else could have pulled off wearing a full mink fur coat on the sideline? Lol. But he was such a great owner and provided his players with everything they needed to be successful. No questions asked. Every player on a Pat Bowlen team loved playing for him and wanted to deliver for Mr Bowlen.
And he stayed out of their business and let them run the team and play, didn't meddle and wasn't overbearing.
My favorite team in old AFL,and always liked them in NFL merger, seen how they came from worse in so many years to first in so many years.
Broncos are 👍....awesome always!
The McCaffrey and Shannahan connection... As a Niner fan I have the utmost respect for Broncos. One of the best fans in the nation 🙌
Right on Brother. I love the connection betwen the teams honestly. alot of history.
@@RodgertheNegotiator For real! It's rare to find this kind of special connection between such historic franchises. Hope Bo Nix becomes your next Elway btw

BRONCOS FOR LIFE. I’ll bleed orange and blue till the day I die 🟠🟠🟠🟠🔵🔵🔵🔵
John Elway best quarterback
No, but he's my favourite. Go Broncos.
