Thanks for reaching out! I loved every second of finding new stuff to help out with this challenge. I'm glad we pushed the boundaries of what this game could do.
Loved the video. Really surprised to learn that note doors are a move and that the game has two _mechanically distinct_ ways of "being a washing machine". Also appreciated the fact that you decided not to use a pre-completed file for bee furnace moves, since it was possible to do it without.
This is an incredible video that fits your channel perfectly. Your, “what if?” we do x, y, z to an N64 game are my favorite videos on your channel and it’s something I see you offer I don’t see anyone else touching and why I’ve been subscribed to your channel for years now. I’m kinda mad because this video is not getting the viewership it normally does for this type of video. You even changed the thumbnail too. Clearly you poured your heart into this one and it ticks me off. I’m liking and sharing and am writing this here to say it means something to me, so thank you!
Im trying to imagine how challenging Tooie will be, mainly because of how many ways you can tackle worlds, and with so many transformations being different, a lot of new stuff will be interesting to see. I wish you luck when you start working on it.
Great stuff as always Snoop! I can tell that this video took a lot of time and effort. It was a really great watch and insightful on how to play BK another way.
That was outstanding. It is quite a shame that you can't fight Grunty as the Washing Machine normally since warping to Furnace Fun changes Banjo back to normal, but at least you got it to work with the gameshark code. I look forward to the Tooie video since I often thought about what transformations could or couldn't beat the bosses, and something I learned is that the dragon brothers and Mingy Jongo can't be fought as the fights will only trigger with normal Banjo and Kazooie, while Hag 1 is impossible as whatever character you are playing as, the game always forces you into First Person Banjo. It would be neat if there was a workaround these ones.
I watched nearly half an hour before I recognized his voice! I've caught a variety of livestreams, even helping out once or twice. Greetings from your slightly more hilly neighbour to the west!
Amazing video. You've always been an inspiration to me man. You're the reason why I got EverDrive x5 on N64 and Smash Remix and now I'm playing Rom Hacks on N64 and Super Nintendo and GameBoy Color. I love your passion for Super Mario 64 and the Rare Ware Platformer/Collectathon types of games. The Washing Machine is essentially Banjo with some setbacks. Does he have that wonky hitbox if you get the Transformation legitimately without the Game Shark Cheat and through Bottles Puzzles and the in-game cheats and can he still communicate with NPC's if you get him through Bottles and not Game Shark? This video was entertaining keep up the good work :)
Comparing this to DK64 is ludicrous. Hacking the game to give you abilities never intended by the developers compared to in game tricks/glitches available to the player
The question is... How many jiggies could the non-flying transformations get if you're allowed to play as Banjo in Gruntilda's lair? TTC: Probably none. All are too high or require moves. CC: Also none i think. Without swimming they would be stuck underwater. BGS: Only Jinjos, plus Mr. Vile as the crocodile of course. GV: None. 2 require speed but i don't think turbo trainer crocodile is enough. FP: None, except the walrus which can get 1. (Only Wozza's jiggy, the race requires Banjo to ram the sled into Boggy first) MMM: 1 in the bucket, plus the one where the pumpkin goes down a pipe on the roof. RBB: None. CCW: This may be the most restricted world. No one can press the button to open spring. Only thing to collect is 4 notes. Gruntilda's Lair: 1st jiggy only, unless they can squeeze through the bars of the Gruntilda statue. If all witch switches are pressed, the transformations should be able to get the one above Mumbo's Mountain.
I had the same strategy guide used for the item previews in this video. Unfortunately, I have no idea what happened to it. Fortunately I bought a new one!
This video was a lot of fun to watch. I wonder if the transformations in Tooie will fair any better lol. I would think so, since most of them can at least attack. I am really curious to see what happens if we let the ground-based transformations mooch off a completed save file so they can open note doors in this one though lol
I’ll admit that I forgot about the Washing Machine. I don’t think I’ve ever gotten it in my playthroughs. I’ve seen how broken the Bee is, so I’m not surprised it was able to reach Gruntilda, but it was never winning the fight. When you revealed the Washing Machine had most of Banjo’s moveset, including firing eggs, I knew we had a winner.
I always loved playing thru the game by transforming into a different Bottles Bonus form after each level. And then finishing it as a washingmachine. But playing (mostly) the whole game as a washingmachine is fun too.
You have an error. On the slide with how many puzzle pieces are needed for each puzzle it lists needing zero puzzle pieces but you actually need to get two
We have the egg attack because we did Demo Desync adventure. We can also learn eggs as washing machine normally too by getting hit by an orange to land on the tree. From the tree we can jump to the platform to learn eggs without giving the orange to the monkey.
Washing Machine could be the best transformation to beat the game If will be funny this transformation was have a game call Banjo and Kazoies wash Landry the video game
I believe this would be because you "learned" how to open note doors from bottles at the beginning of the game as banjo and kazooie. The problem for this run is that the transformations can't talk to bottles, so they can't learn how to open note doors.
@@alwin_nagel_fan8865 which is not merited to be used if you know the sex of the singular individual being referenced, which we do, because it's a he lol so even in that instance of the grammatically acceptable use of they, it still doesn't belong.
It kinda makes sense that the only transformation that can finish the game is Washing Machine. As one of the two transformations that can actually attack and the only one that has kinda same moves at regular Banjo, that's not that surprising.
Thanks for reaching out! I loved every second of finding new stuff to help out with this challenge. I'm glad we pushed the boundaries of what this game could do.
The mental image of Grunty being absolutely dumbfounded by the bee showing up at the top of the tower
Even more so by the sight of a washing machine showing up.
Loved the video. Really surprised to learn that note doors are a move and that the game has two _mechanically distinct_ ways of "being a washing machine". Also appreciated the fact that you decided not to use a pre-completed file for bee furnace moves, since it was possible to do it without.
The old strategy guide cut outs were a nice touch
I was playing Banjo Tooie yesterday and Man... This game is nostálgic!!!
And I thought I knew everything about Banjo Kazooie. Great video Snoop!!
I love getting answers to questions i never asked 😄

13:53 the water isn't toxic; it's fulla bitey fish
30:00 "and we're easily able to make it to the flight pad in time"
the flight pad: [explodes the frame after banjo washingmazooie takes flight] hehe
Great video! I love how you explain how everything works!
I watched nearly half an hour before I recognized his voice! I've caught a variety of livestreams, even helping out once or twice. Greetings from your slightly more hilly neighbour to the west!
Taking notes for the randomizer...

Thanks! With bottles bonus Washing machine still has the weird hitbox & still can't talk to NPC's.
Neat run & analysis video! Thanks for uploading!
This video is amazing. I appreciate all the work it took to get this video done, and I thank you for that.
Great video love whenever i learn something new about any of my favorite games
This was super entertaining haha thanks
Very well and sympatic presentation. It was a good idea and you cut it right for the interesting parts. You should definitly do it for tooie!
Amazing Video! Keep up the good work!
21:05 my theory is it's a ghost jiggy, and the real one is only physical when you best the mini boss
15:55 - idk if it's exclusive to N64 but you can actually prevent the twinly munchers from spawning by looking away when the mission starts
Absolutely insane video!
i wonder how much more/easier some collectibles would be if you could turn into any transformations at will?
fantastic video
I didn't realise this game was so broken. It's like DK 64. Walls are optional.
Comparing this to DK64 is ludicrous. Hacking the game to give you abilities never intended by the developers compared to in game tricks/glitches available to the player
This is great! I would love to see an additional BK video where you still try all levels with the other transformations, for completion sake
subscribed, great job man

So can you do the furnace fun move carry over glitch on 64? Like if I just wanted to start a fresh file but all the moves learned?
Yup fernace fun moves work on N64 most speed runners use this when starting a run
I like your videos like this
I’ll admit that I forgot about the Washing Machine. I don’t think I’ve ever gotten it in my playthroughs. Does anyone know what the BGM at 21:38 is?
Bomberman 64!
@@BillyEilish But which track? Good to know it's from BM64 though, somehow I was thinking it was from TTYD just from how it sounded.
update: it's the green garden theme, just went through the game's OST
New favorite genre of video unlocked
now this is an interesting one!
I can only imagine how long this video took to make.
Mad respect.
i have never seen the washing mashine and i played this game so many times. wow.
Kinda wish we could see the BT Bee fight BK Grunty
What’s the song around the 23 minute mark? I recognize it but cannot remember what game it is from
10/10 vid
7:46 I'm sorry, could you say that again?
Any chance youll do this on tooie aswell?
Edit: should fully watch before commenting haha
nice!
You have an error. On the slide with how many puzzle pieces are needed for each puzzle it lists needing zero puzzle pieces but you actually need to get two
Only speculating, but couldn’t you get the jiggy from knocking clankers tooth in as the bee by flying into his blowhole and flying to it
Wait how the did the washing activate the jinjos?don't need the egg attack for that?
We have the egg attack because we did Demo Desync adventure. We can also learn eggs as washing machine normally too by getting hit by an orange to land on the tree. From the tree we can jump to the platform to learn eggs without giving the orange to the monkey.
Are you going to do a similar video for Banjo tooie?
couldnt you just do the save glitch but in the first world with all the moves unlocked?
But what if you sharked your way past the note doors? It seems a bit anticlimactic to just admit defeat there.
Does anyone have the soundtrack at 5:45?
Rhis is Awesome 🔥🔥
My guy, it's a crocodile.
All the jiggys have names??
How long did this take to make?!
Go to Mumbo and transform into Banjo Kazooie
Ok Washing Machine I wasn't familiar with your game. I owe you an apology
Free.... Bell-free. Not bell-fry
Just started watching the video. When Tooie?
(I'm one of the wierd ones that liked Tooie more)
i love this video
The bee is so overpowered😊😊😊
Washing Machine could be the best transformation to beat the game
If will be funny this transformation was have a game call Banjo and Kazoies wash Landry the video game
Despite the spelling, it's pronounced bellfree
walruse
Lit
I was able to open doors as a bee though the 810 one by click clock wood? glitch free
I believe this would be because you "learned" how to open note doors from bottles at the beginning of the game as banjo and kazooie. The problem for this run is that the transformations can't talk to bottles, so they can't learn how to open note doors.
*spoilers*
Irony of the most obscure transformation being the most useful. Bee was my original pick.
Jiggy
37:07
He*
Not they
He is not multiple individuals, he is a single individual.
They is used as a gender neutral singular pronoun in this case
@@alwin_nagel_fan8865 which is not merited to be used if you know the sex of the singular individual being referenced, which we do, because it's a he lol
so even in that instance of the grammatically acceptable use of they, it still doesn't belong.
Now i wanna know which transformers can beat banjo kazooie
It kinda makes sense that the only transformation that can finish the game is Washing Machine. As one of the two transformations that can actually attack and the only one that has kinda same moves at regular Banjo, that's not that surprising.
You need 96 jiggys to beat banjo kazooie.
If 5 jiggys are unobtainable you can’t beat banjo kazooie
None of them. They can't shoot eggs, so NONE of them can beat it.
Its cool that you know all the names of each individual collectable but it got old extremely fast.
"Runs at 60 herts"
I'm sorry, WHAT? Runs at 60 FPS, hertz has nothing to do with its frame rate.
I mean, Hertz literally just means per second, so I feel like it works. The frames is just implied.
I love it when you make these types of videos @Snooplax Great watch, bro! ❤ P.S. I'm in you the .5 percentile of your viewers!!! 🎉🎉🎉
