I hope you enjoy the video! It's a little different from the last few, and next video will be another fun challenge run. I just need a little more time to cook it is all, so I made this in the meantime!
Having Minish Cap so early confused the heck out of me. I scrubbed through the video to make sure you didn't forget about Link's Awakening/Oracle games.
So, fun fact about A Link to the Past: There are more pots than enemies across the entire game. Yeah, I don't know why Ganon thought his army was worth bragging about, when they get outnumbered by literal pottery. 7:47 Personally, I adore the fact that in TP, when Link goes to throw a pot, he gets a hand under the pot first to get some throwing power under it. 11:37 Hey, the Newgrounds kid in me has to fight myself to not call the game "Four Swords Misadventures" on principle. God, that makes me feel old, knowing how old that series is, even by OG Newgrounds standards. 12:57 100% people consider Zelda 2 the black sheep more than Triforce Heroes, because it's the one they actually remember exists. Not even saying Triforce Heroes is bad, I'm just saying that there's a lot of bias in favor of Zelda 2 in terms of being known about. 13:45 A Link Between Worlds is an example of how to properly remaster a game. Sure, it IS just an upscaled clone of A Link to the Past, but the way they innovate on the dungeon design with all of the tricks they've devised across the last 20-ish years of Zelda games, every dungeon feels nothing shy of phenomenal. ESPECIALLY the new Palace of Darkness, actually feels like it's own dungeon, instead of "Heh heh, it's Eastern Palace, but more evil."
since you've decided that the zelda cartoon was worth including for this one, your next challenge should be "can you watch all of the zelda cartoon without going insane"
The people of Ordon hid their pots where Link could never find them (even as a wolf) when he first started to look at the pots with a look that said he wanted to break them when he was very small. They missed that one. If Link finds the pots, he's gonna break them all real fast. It'll take forever, but if he just learns how to run up walls like Sky and searches the trees long enough, he might find them. It may take days of aimless wandering and tree marking and getting further into the Faron Woods, BUT HE SENSES THAT THERE USED TO BE MORE POTS IN ORDON VILLAGE AND HE MUST LET THE GOATS BE OUTSIDE LONGER TO HUNT THE POTS DOWN.
I actually never considered the fact that THAT Nico is likely the same one as in Wind Waker. If thats true wouldnt that make this the shortest time period between reincarnations so far? With Average games typically taking centuries to thousands of years between each other.
I can’t believe that the first pot smashed in the history of Zelda was the goddamn Evil Jar 😂 People who’ve seen the cartoon have been memeing on that name for years, but it turns out our beloved Evil Jar started an iconic staple of LoZ
7:01 She cries if you do that. 8:17 I don't think that's how time works. I think the Oracle games are awesome. You don't actually need the boomerang. You can use a bomb to hit the switch inside the Temple of Seasons. A friend of mine told me this when he had issues getting the boomerang. Why are you showing Four Swords Adventures after Skyward? That game came out earlier. I never actually tried the Shadow Battle. I was able to play through one level without the controllers disconnecting. I think earlier methods of playing multiplayer on emulators didn't have the best connection. Nowadays you don't even need extra GBA emulators to play multiplayer. Dolphin has them included. 12:47 I didn't know you could do that. I think Niko might be 110 years old. Didn't the Deku Tree meet the Hero of Time in Wind Waker? I don't think Niko is the first. Ganondorf also met different incarnations of Link.
For Zelda 1, the fires guarding Zelda could be argued to be fire pots ;) For Zelda 2, you can smash blocks, can these be counted as pots somehow? Sorry for asking stupid questions :D
@@shiftfire4511 Yes, yes you can skip cutscenes in the GC/Wii version. And we know he did skip cutscenes for the video because the opening cutscene alone is 3 minutes.
Wasn't the GameCube version of TP worked on and finished before the Wii version which had everything mirrored and some sounds coming from the Wii Remote?
You broke your rules. Link's Awakening DX is the Game Boy Color remake of Link's Awakening on the original Gameboy, so by playing DX, you didn't play the original version of Link's Awakening. I know DX is the more readily available version, but it's still a remake. I'm pretty certain Link's Awakening, when played on a Super Gameboy, would have a different color pallet to DX.

A video dedicated to property damage, love it
Next step: animal cruelty speedrun
Ah, an excellent tribute to my favourite Zelda weapon in history.

I... didn't know about the different voices thing in Triforce Heroes, interesting.
Good video!

Wait a minute…
Triforce heroes can give you different voices?

Dragalia Lost music for the end card
I love Dragalia Lost music!
I've always seen your posts, but never seen a video. I AM NOT DISSAPOINTED :D

seasons was going to be a remake of Zelda 1 when oracles was a trilogy

charge your sword in the oracle games to hit lower right
How come you didn't skip the cutscenes in twilight princess?
Can't do so in the original version.

Considering you included Four Swords, I'm surprised you skipped Hyrule Warriors, Age of Calamity, and most importantly LINK'S CROSSBOW TRAINING!
4 swords is canon the others are not.
You forgot about the cdi games. Although I don't blame you for not playing those games.
