- Join with Warren and Ben for a New Chum's guide to panning and crevicing for alluvial gold. Basic principles of gold deposition are covered, along with 'where to dig' for fine gold and nuggets along creeklines. In part 2 we move on to the gold pan to recover some fine gold, and metal detectors to recover gold nuggets. Thanks for watching and subscribing! www.nqexplorers.com www.garrettaustralia.com.au
This is why i love your videos it clarifies for me some of the things i learned from my uncle. Thank you. I have two pans I have my cheap metal detector that my son calibrated for me and i have the enthusiasm, just dont have company other than the dog, my disability and not enough fuel money to travel about .....YET lol. I will get there i will do it soon for sure. Thank you again.
Are you in Queensland bro? I got lots of gold rich private land in central/north/west type Queensland that I could never prospect all myself if need somewhere good.
Those old time miners sure would clever and resourceful old chaps.

Good stuff mate ,,mick Bankstown ,
Good 👍 nice Spot 👍
nice video , good luck :-)
I know of at least five puddliers in the Rockhampton area. There are many many goldfields around Rockhampton. Not a Victorian thing at all.
The puddler was actually developed in Victoria, not Queensland - where it is not uncommon to see five in just an acre - by comparison, Queensland has far less puddlers. Cheers mate and Happy Fossicking - Warren.
