Omg thank you so much. I have been planning a creek for 3 years on my grandmas property. Although it is outside of Dahlonega, it is in the mountains between Dahlonega and Suches. A small mountain. I have been trying to figures out how and where to find the load or where the gold came from. Your drawings and description of the types and locations has really inspired me to get out of the creek and start looking up the mountain. Thank you so much. ❤

Thanks now I have a better grasp, to look for in the Downieville area where there was once a mine, that was dynamited to keep people out, because they were getting lost in it..

Was wondering if you knew about the San Gabriel east fork and the narrows upstream? If so what is your opinion where the gold comes from. Different opinions on this. Was put there long ago by a different river channel, a few giant boulders too some say Was fro different times and the east fork never moved them. Lmk what you think about that particular place if you don't mind. Few hard rock mines around as well as hard rock tunnels that punch into placer gravels

Thanks for the explanation! The diagram indicates the Residual Lode is high up on a mountain. Is this the typical case?

I have scoured the surrounding area and I have a theory involving mid continental rift gladiator and gold. I have in fact found gold in around the gravel deposits particularly around the st. Joe River basin. I think a bunch. Wanna talk? I don't know how to b heard.

Hi prospector Jess I am new at prospecting. Haven’t done much but a metal detector and you just been doing research. Are you still prospecting? And if so, does it mean anything? If there’s white quartz lots of them under trees like in the whole area?
